Clients can use the app to monitor progress. Pros I appreciate that the system can be altered to meet our specific needs. Our resources' capacity planning is both extremely beneficial and unique. When a form is submitted, it can be configured to use Blueprints to automatically build and map projects and tasks. This has automated numerous requests from outside our department. To make sure that no timeline item is late, use the sort-by-date functionality. Cons I'd like to see additional automation options. It took us some time to figure out which option to hit first. March 27, 2023 5.0 Pros How easy it is to organize, write and assign tasks - straight forward and intuitive - don't have to search around for things unlike some other PM systems (i.e. Asana). The folder structure is very clear and replicates computer or storage systems like Dropbox (which allows our folders/projects to be consistent across the platforms we use). Cons Every so often there seem to be weird glitches that last a day or so -- whether tasks displaying oddly (or completely empty when they aren't), not saving newly added content, etc. Seems it happens more often than it should. Cons I find that if I stay logged into Wrike for over 24 hours the mail does not update. I have to log out and back in to see what mentions I have received. It actually helps us to stay on track and love the repeat of task function. Pros The ability to track projects and make assignments for an individual task. I also like that I can assign and not have to go to each office and talk about assignments so much. Cons Sometimes moving assignments from one project to another is difficult. Art Department Manager Printing Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Lots of Functionality, a bit Complicated" February 1, 2021 5.0 Wrike has been under-used in my company so far, which is 90% due to the complicated nature of setting the software up to succeed with your company. There is a learning curve, which dowsed some of the enthusiasm we had going into it. However the value of this software is evident and very exciting, and for my team of remote workers it will elevate us to a much higher level of productivity. I do not see us out-growing the software either as it is extremely scalable, which invalidates the "con" mentioned above (complicated to setup). Pros Wrike is a very powerful software, and truthfully I do not use a majority of what it offers which speaks to its value. Project management is the main use for me and my team. The best part is the collaboration, task management, and project progress transparency; all of which are especially important for a group of people who are all remote workers trying to operate as a team. It has huge potential to be the one-stop shop for all project-based teams. We are currently trying to emulate the SCRUM method using Wrike and once the Spaces and Forms are configured we will be able to operate as a team quickly and easily without dozens of emails and phone calls. Cons The con is the semi-complicated set-up and deployment, at least in my experience. If you are tech-savvy then it will be no problem at all, in fact, it will be an incredibly rewarding tool for you to use. For those in your organization who are not keen on computers and digital interfaces, there will need to be a thorough roll-out plan and probably ongoing support for them. Because of Wrike's many uses and high level of customizability, it can be... not so simple to navigate in some cases. However I am personally combating that issue with a well thought out organization structure with my Spaces, Projects, Folders, etc to alleviate as much confusion as possible. Pros I love wrike! I use it daily to manage all of my event tasks and requests. Its easy to submit tasks and assign stakeholders, apply due dates, upload files (even files directly from google drive), and track progress. I have created my own event templates that I can copy and paste, that have all the general tasks that need to be completed for each event- so I don't have to recreate the wheel with every project. When duplicating event tasks, I can even apply same assignment rules and descriptions, which is a huge time saver since I often collaborate with the same core team on these tasks. Cons When I duplicate tasks, it often keeps the same old dates rather than adjusting to the current date, so I have to manually update those in each task. Also, if you don't manually mark a task complete, it can stack up and cloud the view of what needs to be done. However, this is something that should just be incorporated into best practices when using the tool...mark complete once finished to clear the queue. Review Source MP Meghan P. Pros Wrike provides a web-based platform that lets the whole team see the projects and tasks we have before us. Cons The interface is clunky. Multiple clicks are required for almost anything, and the views are not intuitive. Very difficult to get team adoption because ordinary users find it too complex. We have also found the customer service lacking. We tried to solve a billing problem and it has taken five months. I have also seen community requests for features totally ignored, including the most obvious feature: being able to convert a task to a project. People write in about this every day but the developer team does not even reply in the community. Finally, the ios application, while improving, is still subpar. I have come to love this software because of how easy it is to use. I think it's an excellent collaboration tool. It's very easy to work on projects as a team, and simply tag members of your business in each project. I love the tagging and chat features. The chat is very easy to follow. Honestly, I love the color schemes. It makes it very easy to use because of bold colors. I like how you can customize your Wrike background too! I do like how easy it is for admins to customize the features within Wrike. I've been able to help customize a few forms and features that needed improvements, and it was changed within a matter of seconds. Cons Because our company uses Wrike nationwide, you rely on each market to correctly make their projects and forms private to that market only. Occasionally, they'll make their forms public, which will show up on our dashboards too. Also, it would be nice for each individual user to be able to customize their dashboard views. Only the admins can customize it for the whole market, but I would like to be able to customize my dashboards for myself personally.
