May 10, 2018 5.0 Pros What I like the most about this software is that its makes keeping track of memberships/clients so much easier. Admins spend so much time inputting this information and updating it and this software helps to aid in the process. Cons It took awhile to figure out how to set up the software and how to use the various templates. Now members can do applications and renewals online. The last two years we used it for our annual show registration. The software allows us to limit access to documentation and information that require a membership in the organization. Cons This software has many features and we were able to adapt it to most of our previous procedures. We would like to see more levels of administration. At the same time I was setting up the local bar association's Wild Apricot system, I was also approached by a major computer-aided research (CAR) vendor to buy their products. The major CAR vendor has a mess for an interface--and one that often results in poor results. Wild Apricot was a breeze to learn and use. Yes, there are few tweaks that I might make--but Wild Apricot's positive and receptive attitude toward suggestions is first rate. Wild Apricot is always new and improve. It's a great product that i truly do love! Pros Intuitive. Responsive customer support. Cons Turnaround on customer support is not always as prompt as I would like, but it's still reasonable. Webmaster Used the software for: ### "Tool Far Exceeded My Expectations" February 9, 2015 5.0 Our association was in search of a new web tool to manage our membership and site content. I stumbled upon Wild Apricot and decided to try the 30-day trial. It was so easy to use, I ended up building the entire site and loading our membership in 2 weeks. There was functionality I didn't realize would be helpful that was already built in. There isn't much we can't do in Wild Apricot to help us manage our association and communicate with members. It's an affordable service and well worth every penny. The ability to integrate membership management with our PayPal account to nearly eliminate the need for visits to the bank to deposit checks. Members don't have to worry about waiting months for checks to get deposited. We also can do online registration for our annual clinic. Review Source TN Titus N. I was doing community-wide workshops and needed a process that I could manage myself. Once I learned to set this up...it has been really great. I get confirmation when someone registers and have learned how to process their payments so they get receipt electronically along with their invoice sent earlier. This program has made my work so much easier. I also love the fact that I can update the web site easily and quickly to keep it fresh. I would recommend any small business like mine to consider using Wild Apricot as I originally thought it was just for the non profit sector ( this is where I first used it). From online applications, billing, email responses, membership renewals, archiving, reminders and event calendars - this software handles it. On top of that, you can design your own website with ease or use one of their own pre-made templates! They work cross platform, so those who do their site surfing on a phone or tablet can still navigate your page easily. Pros application/memberships, website designs Cons You cannot remove the fee option from events, so events we want to show on the calendar with the fees for instructors, but I don't want to invoice the registrants. NONE of the others compare in Price, Ease of Use AND Customer Service as WA does! Easy to set up a site - great functionality - great programming and even motivated board members can use it! GREAT VALUE for the LOW PRICE AND JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF BELLS AND WHISTLES! I am switching all clients over to WA as the chance comes up - when the boards finally get tired of either paying too much OR suffering with klunky, unmanageable, inefficient sites! I went from struggling through managing a website, dealing with a severely over-complicated membership software, to wonderful Wild Apricot! I am not a huge technical person, I can manage most computer programs with ease, but am by no means a specialist, but Wild Apricot made it extremely easy to build and manage a beautiful, interactive website. My membership is so much simpler to manage, because of automated emails and renewals, I spend less time and get better results. Event management is also very easy with Wild Apricot, I register attendees quickly and easily, payments are easily managed. This has been a good decisions for us and the leaders of our group have found Wild Apricot to be a useful tool to manage our association. Significant features of the system that we find useful are the system's very high availability at all times, the capability to send mass emails to our members, and the ability to generate postal mailing data. Equally important is the company's approach of constantly improving the system to provide more functionality in response to customer feedback. July 16, 2013 5.0 Our community club has struggled for years to manage email lists, memberships, events, integrated website and reporting with all manner of spreadsheets and website managers. We started using Wild Apricot about 9 months ago and are still discovering new ways to take advantage of this integrated system. All of our spreadsheets have been retired, as Wild Apricot's integrated system keeps all of our membership information integrated, accessible and up-to-date. Really like like that members can self-service updates to their contact info. Pros Wild Apricot has been a good program for building a website. It has plenty of tools that you can use to manage your members and communicate with them. It is also fairly simple to use. If you have difficulties, I have found the help section to be very useful. Cons Sometimes it is difficult to format emails when sending an email blast to members. It can also be challenging to figure out certain things you want to accomplish while in admin mode. I got the approval to get going, and very quickly had the site up and running. I've gotten many compliments on what a great job I did, but really it was just because Wild Apricot was so easy to use.
