Used the software for: ### "For member oriented websites just about the best around" March 2, 2017 4.0 If you have a member based organization and need to track members, information, registration details, accounting info, etc... Wild Appricot is one of the best prebuilt web hosting services for this. The Admin section while occasionally a bit clunky is fairly easy to navigate. The stock settings, options, WYSIWYG format, are more than sufficient for most websites. One main piece that is not included is a built in contact us page and JS or CGI ability. Those you have to have somewhere else or use a third party to get them to run. They are going to be pricey for a small organization but very reasonable for mid sized and bigger. November 1, 2014 5.0 Wild Apricot is an incredible system for s for organizations on a limited budget being run by volunteers with limited technical technical expertise. It is extremely easy to use and when questions arise in most cases the answers are easily found in the on-line help. We did find it necessary to use the services of one of the Wild Apricot Partners but the system is so user friendly many organizations could probably do it themselves . This did increase our start up costs but the our 25% increase in members in the first month resulting from the great on-line application and payment feature more than offset the cost. Especially like the mobile app ability. Pros The website builder function was easy to use and allowed inexperienced students a template to build from. It is a good intro. to websites. Used the software for: ### "WA Membership and Website software has been a great benefit to our fraternal organization " August 4, 2015 4.0 The various elements of email, website, events/registration, aging receivables and membership modules work well together and overall very satisfied. The improvements in the website module have been beneficial and fixed a number of 'quirks' with the editing software. Our organization is based on a 'grand lodge' structure \[parent - members state associations - state association subordinates\] and the membership module is unfortunately not designed for this type of structure and a number of work arounds had to be worked out with tech support so the membership module could work for our needs. I would recommend that any membership based organization review Wild Apricot even if they already have their own website. It doesn't take much time to try the 30 days free trial. Pros Great customer support. Easy to use. Cons Wild Apricot is missing some functionality that is important to us. We were using an Excel spreadsheet and an email routine in the past and these have now been replaced. Ease of use is outstanding as well as specific features of member archiving, member billing and custom field option. On the down side, we would like to see some additional reports added to the system because the current method is to export the entire database table and then customize in your spreadsheet. Our previous web manager became ill and could no longer manage the website or help me learn the process. I started out knowing very little. I found the tutorials/protocols to be extremely helpful and I was able to do most everything that I needed to do without tech assistance. When I did need help, the tech support was wonderful: easy to understand and prompt. Our small group of 100 members - most over 55 - has been able to move from a paper system to a web-based system reducing the time and costs of running the club. February 9, 2017 5.0 My organization is entering our third year with Wild Apricot, and we are still enthusiastic supporters of the software and the people behind it. Ridiculously easy to set up, use and maintain, this software has allowed us to truly be a dynamic AND virtual club. It has saved us at least 15,000 euros a year in rent and more in labor. Support is friendly, helpful, quick and thorough. I am convinced I am Wild Apricot's biggest fan, and The American Women's Group in Paris is its most loyal customer. Used the software for: ### "Wild Apricot is a solid platform which adds useful functionality with each new release" January 12, 2017 5.0 We have used Wild Apricot since the 2012 ski season for event management, member renewals, website content and bulk email. The platform is reliable and predictable and the product offers excellent functionality in its ability to have events that are visible and/or available for sign-up to members only or to the public. The financial integration with PayPal is virtually bulletproof and the "many-to-many" relationship for the settlement of payments and invoices is robust. This is a solid platform for an amazing price with an admin interface that is much more intuitive than the other products that I have demo'd. Review Source WG Wayne G. Used the software for: ### "Great Product For our Association " January 12, 2017 5.0 Went looking for a website for your association back in 2010 and found Wild Apricot. To get the site and running to include migrating all member information was complete by myself in under a month. The one thing that I like the best is that they listen to what you need and most times they are able to bring it to life. Tech support is unmatched and there self help tech manual is beyond good. I have never regretted buy this product and would recommend it to any association. The software is reliable, configurable, and comprehensive. I spent 30 years in the software development industry and can see how much thought and design has gone into Wild Apricot. By the way, I've convinced three different art leagues to use Wild Apricot, and I manage all three web sites. Cons I just wish they could put the features I want in faster. Using Wild Apricot as our website software has allowed us to automate our dues collection, event planning and other features easily. Although we are a Masonic service organization based on a grand lodge structure I was able to make the software work for our needs. WA is constantly investing in upgrades and fixes to make it better for the users. Having a single solution to handle the 3 main business functions is wonderful. I don't use the financial aspect as the developers envisioned but their tracking for event registrations is very useful and I really like it. I will continue to be a customer. Even a group of senior citizens such as we without a lot of technical skills can find our way around designing the various pages that we need. It has simplified our annual dues billing and given us another wonderful way to communicate with our members and to do the business of the organization. The support is fantastic and the help documentation very thorough and easy to understand. January 12, 2017 5.0 We started using the Wild Apricot platform over a year ago and it has made things so much easier for our organization. We even won a state wide garden club award for our site design using one of Wild Apricot templates. We've had to reach out to their support team a few times during site design for help and they were always been quick to respond. If you are serious about your club activities and want to improve the look and feel of your organization, I'd recommend you try Wild Apricot's services. The software is very user friendly with well documented online help. There are several means to obtain customer support. There have been times when support was slower than we would have expected & needed at the time. The software is upgraded periodically during the year. Users have the ability to post wishlist items and help prioritize those items. Overall, the system has been a great option for us. I would highly recommend it! I personally loved the built-in templates that made it easy to get started building dozens and dozens of web pages. I needed to do some fairly advanced work with payments, polling and restricted pages/documents. In most cases, the online documentation gave me the information needed. I had to open up a couple of tickets on some things that I could not find instructions on how to do. The customer service team responded quickly and resolved the issue with the initial response. The ongoing updates, training, integration with other sites and its focus on fulfilling the needs for associations is the reason we continue to applaud Wild Apricot. Many of the features you would expect to see on a much more expensive system are part of the Wild Apricot membership.
