I'm not the most technologically sophisticated and have relied on their customer support a lot. That, to me, has been the best part of this website. Support is always professional and knowledgeable. And patient! This website has a lot of great features for members. I would highly recommend it to any organization that values its members. It has made updating our website so much easier and keeping the membership updated is effortless. We have used it to set up registration for events, and those have gone smoothly, with much less work on our part. It maintains our mailing list, our member list, we set-up event pages with registration, including payment options. For the past few years we were disappointed with the HTML web capacity. The most impressive thing about Wild Apricot is the ease of building. We went from zero website to a functioning website with the specific things we needed in three days. Pros The back end administrative layers are complete and reasonably easy to use. The front end public and "members only" layers are good and reasonably flexible. Cons The software is designed to satisfy a large number of different organizations and users. As such there are a lot of features which any individual organization or user might not need. Occasionally these un-needed features get in your way. I am generally hesitant about reaching out to support teams, due to the lack of response or understanding of my question...this is not the case with Wild Apricot support. I definitely will continue to use and recommend Wild Apricot. Pros Easy to use Cons Not as much a con, but concern. This is combined with a really easy website construction package. Perfect for the less technically minded! To cap this, Wild Apricot Support people really do listen and drive improvements. It has always been easy to use, and the members have much more control over their records than our previous site. The board now controls the website, emails, services and billing directly. Members are able to register for events and pay online. The software is intuitive and very user-friendly.
