“Choose another POS”

OverallWe have restaurants and all use Fedelta. 3 servers crashes in less than 4 months. Cost of terminals are horrendous to replace. After the latest episode, looking to switch all venues to IPAD based POS system, that doesn't rely on clunky software & hardware integration.
ProsNo different to any other POS system , but lagging on back of house data and doesn't integrate with a lot of 3rd party software. Seems stuck in the 90's.
ConsLack of support on weekends when major issues arise and failure to follow procedures. We were told that the the servers are backed up each night to the cloud, but on 2 occassions when our servers crashed (hardware problems, to do with the monitors supplied, none of the servers wer backed up resulting in 4-6 hours before anything can be done.

“Just dismal. Best suited to those who know nothing about functional tech.”

OverallIt generally provides data.
ProsAt the core, it does what is says that it does: track numbers. What it doesn't account for is the significant effort and resources required to access any customer service or logical solution to an issue.
ConsServer based (no, VPN is not the same as the cloud). Server continually goes down and data is lost. Crude lack of competent customer support. No integration with current cloud-based hospitality apps (particularly in the US). Software resembles MS DOS.
