May 6, 2019 4.0 This is one of the better AMS that I have worked with and has by far some of the best support. They are very helpful and respond in a very timely manner. Cons It's the same issue with almost all AMS softwares, it's hard to have one that that is exceptional in both membership aspect and event aspects. Pros The team were very helpful with helping adjust the custom pages, assisted with html coding, answers all questions in a timely manner and went above and beyond to help us with the website build. Cons The website build is pretty time consuming, but I don't have anything that I could say negative about the implementation time. It does take time so patience is a virtue. Our Implementation Specialist was absolutely superb -- technical expertise, knowledge of the system, and outstanding customer support skills (patience, listening skills, clear communication). Pros Very robust functionality -- the architects behind this seem to have anticipated our needs and then some. In time, once more features and functionalities are added, they will be useful for larger organizations that require more complex setups as well. You can absolutely run your association with this tool. There is a front and back end for staff and the public. Pros I like how YM is an affordable option to an association management data base. You can do anything from registration, membership, to website design. Cons The customer service is not great. Some of the employees were not knowledgeable on how to trouble shoot to resolve issues. " June 14, 2016 1.5 Pros That the job board does work with our web-site and the revenue checks are sent regularly. Cons There is an embarrassing level of customer service! You leave voicemails that are never answered. You get a live person on the phone only after posing as a new customer and then they are unable to correctly transfer a phone call to who you really need to speak too. How many people work at this company that no one is manning a Customer Service line during business hours on a Tuesday? We are now able to integrate our database with our website which is very important to our registrants. Pros The ease of use for customers and backend admin users. I like that you can customize to fit your organizations needs. It has also helped decrease our organizations use of paper, and processing checks drastically. Cons Reporting , its is very difficult to create custom reports. More international functionality. The directory search could be a little bit more precise. October 30, 2015 5.0 We didn't realize how much we would need to be involved in setting up the website design in the beginning, but that enabled us to learn a lot about website development. Perhaps more than we wanted to know. However, as time progresses, have gotten comfortable with the functionality; we utilize more features and find that we are able to tailor many of the membership management features to the unique ways in which we operate. We started this without having anyone with prior knowledge or expertise in website development and varied levels of comfort and experience with software utilization. If your agency employs or contracts with a techie type, you will most likely avoid our startup hiccups. In either case, there is no better customer service than YM. They are available and responsive by phone, email, video tutorials and downloadable guides. I've also found that unique situations are forwarded to product development so the functionality is updated on an ongoing basis. Oh, and if you use Quickbooks, the two sync well. Haven't tried the plug-ins yet because they are a little costly for us but there is a Quickbooks plug-in and a mobile app interface for conferences and events that also has perfect synchronization with the member/non-member database. I had a lot to get done, in very little time, and there was always someone available to help get me through it. There are also daily webinars where you can jump on and jump off as needed and ask whatever question you have that day. Overall, it's a great system, and I plan to encourage other managers in my association to try YourMembership for their managed clients. Pros This software has made my life easier in many ways. It has many functionalities, which allow you to accomplish most anything you need to do with your membership and events.
