Pros: I really like the way campaigns operate and that you can install forms directly into the website. It is something where you get what you pay for and it shows. While they offer a way to get things done it is not always the easiest or smartest way. There are usually ways to work around issues but not direct solutions.

Cons: What I have found is that there are real problems with integrations and each update seems to cause added glitches. The whole identifying that we have permission to respond to someone who contacts us online is a giant pain. I know that they don't want to assist spammers but they are making it harder for us to respond. Often we have to go in and send out a confirmation email to someone in order to put them into an appointment reminder campaign. Which is absolutely ridiculous. If they have an appointment we are not spamming them. The other issues are the integrations that they blame the party trying to integrate with and they offer ZERO assistance on their end. They make you go find developers instead of having people on staff who could charge per integration. It is annoying and makes integrating much harder than it should be! Also even using Zapier we have had issues with integrating, It causes multiples of contacts to be sent and then it causes the problems with making it work correctly to the point we just disconnected!

Overall: Not really going to give you what some of the big CRMs offer, so don't expect that, but it does let you do the emails in HTML format for broadcast emails and track open rates, it also lets you do anything you build the campaign for with the right add-ons from other companies. You will definitely need plus this if you want to send text messages. Also be aware that the email marketing is severely limited because of the spam filters being set so high even when someone signs up for contact online.

Pros: Customizability is my favorite part of Infusionsoft. It is very powerful to be able to have it do exactly what you have dreamed up. It seems pretty simplistic at first, but when you get into it, you start to realize that the possibilities are endless of what you can accomplish and do with it. For me the CRM and Campaign builder are doing automated tasks for me that would take our team hours to accomplish, and catching our sales and fulfillment process at critical time points to make sure our patient experience is the best it can be.

I really love and use campaign builder . . . a lot. You can make campaigns do whatever you want AND make them start to perform based on the interaction that your customers have with the campaigns. That is very powerful and one of the big differentiators IS has from other software I have found.

I¿ve used IS for about 4 years now and I'm building new things every week to help reduce the tasks I do and my employees do.

I also love the community. Going to ICON (the conference that infusionsoft puts on) was one of the best experiences I have had as a business owner. It was amazing to see thousands of small business owners making things happen and helping each other.

Infusionsoft really does live by its tag line "We help Small Businesses Succeed."

Cons: There is work involved. I'm not really trying to be facetious. So many times we want a silver bullet that makes everything as easy as wasting 6 hours on your friends facebook feeds. In life in general, it's not easy to customize anything, but when it is finally tailored right to what your business needs, it is very powerful. Infusionsoft isn't a few clicks here and there and over with, but if it were, it wouldn't be the powerful machine it is. So you have to be willing to invest in harnessing it to your wagon and making it work for you. That investment can potentially involve you or your staff learning how to use it, and/or hiring third party companies who help you get it doing what you want it to do. As long as you go into it knowing that there is tremendous benefit from both of these investments, your business will be influenced for the better.

Infusionsoft has a lot of things that are cookie cutter easy, but I think of it more like a cookie cutter maker than some software that does one or two things well and leaves businesses lacking in functionality or customizability. Learning the skills I have gained in Infusionsoft have totally transformed the way I think about marketing to my patients and everyone around me.

Overall: Providing consistency over the 1-2 year period our customers work with us.

Better handling of leads, turning them in to better conversions

Automating mundane tasks like letters, cards, packages, etc.

Generating referrals in a consistent trackable manner.

Warming leads more effectively

Combining online and offline interactions

Notifications of important milestones in the sales and fulfillment process

To Infusionsoft or not to Infusionsoft. That is the question.

Pros: Infusionsoft is one of those stalwart applications that is almost synonymous with marketing automation online for serious businesses (often with a host of disclaimers... see "cons" section).

The greatest feature of Infusionsoft is the robust nature of its features, it integrates with almost everything a large enterprise would use (although these features come with a price).

If you are looking to grow an online business, and you can afford the on-going maintenance in terms of staff time and cost, Infusionsoft will offer you plenty with room to grow.

Cons: Sadly, Infusionsoft has been around for so long that I believe the back-end, administrative user experience suffers. A quick Google search of the application will return many negative and less than stellar reviews. One could surmise that any big brand is likely to have many detractors (and this is true), however, most are balanced out by equally glowing reviews. Infusionsoft sits on the fence. This is unfortunate, because I believe that Infusionsoft could be very useful to many growing online, eCommerce businesses and membership associations. However, the owner will need deeper pocket than he or she is likely to have starting out, and migration with a mid to large size database is no picnic.

I'm hopeful that Infusionsoft will work toward meeting the needs of a modern, point and click audience.

Overall: While I think the dated back-end and the pricing are an issue, I will say that when dealing with a larger contact database or enterprise system, I am hard pressed to find another platform that can do all that I rely on Infusionsoft to do for my larger clients.

Comments: For the price and what it does, we have yet to find a better solution. I believe in the product but wish they would work harder on fixing current problems rather than rolling out new tools. It does take some time learning the ropes but there are lots of great tools, webinars, and people willing to help. It's a great community. (Big shout out to MonkeyPod Marketing and Greg Jenkins)

Pros: I like being able to set up campaigns that run the full year making sure the customer is kept in the loop. With proper tags I can see that things are running smoothly.

Cons: 1) Support. If you are in the US I am sure that support is much better but being 9 hrs ahead of the IS HQ I am usually stuck with the total waste of time 'Chat Support'. Two years ago support would have gotten 5 of 5, today I would give it one star at best. 2) The platform is about 5 years behind the times. Powerful but the look, usability, and feel are dated. If they don't get on this in the next year or two I would expect serious competition to start circling. 3) They remove useful tools, replace with simplicity, and then pat themselves on the back for their own awesomeness. I can write a book about the lack of flexibility in the new (1 year) email builder that was stripped of most of the designing strengths. When they added the ability underline text 4 months in (seriously) they cheered themselves to no end. How email builder was rolled out without the ability to underline is a headscratcher and I am never going to stop complaining about the removal of the HTML snippet. ***Sorry, it's always easier to remember what you don't like than what you do.

Pros: Simple to learn and use. Navigation was ok, capable of making some good looking emails, email campaign system was pretty cool and easy to do with some limitations of what it could do.

Cons: Databases not linked, meaning if you make an email in their marketing area, you cannot save it and use it in your individual emails. Templates are not transferable, so you have to send individual emails by creating a tag of the customer name, apply the tag to the customer, then send a broadcast email for ONE email in order to use the template. They SELL you on their ability to take email lists and mail to potential customers (say, from a trade show). But then they give you a HUGE legal disclaimer that won't allow you to actually DO this. They will charge you $250 per email which gets a complaint (I got zero, but I did not send to a generic list). When you call to ask to do something, 50% of the time they are NOT available, or you have to wait up to about an hour on hold. There seems to be only ONE guy who knows the database and if you point out something like the incongruity of the databases, he will simply tell you "we can put this on our list of fixes" and then do nothing about it. They spend an inordinate amount of time to help you buy or use free marketing setups in their "marketplace," but meanwhile they have so many glitches that they simply refuse to fix.

Hi Romney,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We¿re glad you wrote about your experience so we can help fix the issue. Our templates are in fact transferable. When you are in an email within the campaign sequence, on the upper right Actions drop down there is a save as template button.

We do not charge per email but do have email overages if a user goes over their limit for the month. If you would like to increase your limit, I recommend contacting our phone or chat support http://help.infusionsoft.com/contact-us

I hope that helped and if you have further questions or comments please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you!

Horrible Customer Service Sold A $4,600.00 Plan and Kept Stopping Email Send Outs

Comments: Terrible company. A customer service run-a-round.

Pros: Absolutely None, this field is requiring 100 characters minimum. Infusionsoft does not have any pros

Cons: Our company has requests from industry professionals that have directly requested to receive specific information from our company. Our single newsletter kept getting stopped from send out by Infusionsoft because they claimed supposed Spam rates in excess of 0.1%. According to Jacob Hoiby if 2,000 people on a list request information and 1 person of the initial send out of 1,000 e-mails clicks on the Spam button rather than Delete or Unsubscribe then too bad for the other 1,000 people who requested the information, they won't get it because Infusionsoft won't send out the remainder of the email list. Sadly, according to Infusionsoft's logic those other 1,000 potential recipient's desires don't matter. Sadly too our world is plagued by some lazy people who find it easier to just click the Spam button. Despite the unreasonability of some less than caring people, we expected Infusionsoft to reasonably send out our email newsletters which was the purpose of the product and service we purchased. Instead, they chose to view only the 0.1% Spam rate and disregard the opens rate of our lists ranging from 12% to 20% within 24 hours. The most significant problem was the extensive amount of time our company spent during the past 2 weeks trying to work with multiples of their less than knowledgeable customer service members. Today alone was in excess of 10 hours of time. Save your company money and time DO NOT bother trying to work with Infusionsoft. They will hold to their claim that the industry requires a less than 0.1% spam rate. They will disregard your concerns. They will try to tell you that you need a "healthy" email list. This is not rocket science people. It's a list of first names, last names and email addresses from people whom provided that information which is compiled in a data file uploaded to their system. How much "healthier" can we possibly get? Unfortunately, the world is "unhealthy" because there are a few lazy bad apples that somehow find it easier to click Spam then unsubscribe or delete when they no longer have an interest. Unfortunately, the world is plagued with "unhealthy" companies like Infusionsoft that sell a service, but refuse to deliver the service they sold claiming that they have to keep at high standards. Their service does not produce any better marketing delivery either. Numerous newsletters landed in peoples Promotions and Spam folders. Infusionsoft does not have a better delivery mode to In-Boxes as they claim. I hope sharing our experience can help save another company the extreme headaches, cost and sheer waste of time we have endured during the past 2 weeks attempting to deal with Infusionsoft.

Pros: Infusionsoft isn't a perfect tool, but it's a solid choice for a small business without ambitions to scale rapidly (i.e. think accounting firm, not tech startup). The "all-in-one" nature of the tools is excellent as it simplifies marketing and sales operations for businesses without the resources to hire a dedicated person to manage disparate solutions and the integrations needed to make them interact. The campaign builder is pretty easy-to-use, the landing page editor is making serious strides, and the email editor is pretty great and requires zero HTML/CSS knowledge. The referral module is useful, especially for businesses just wanting a simple affiliate program. While I have a few gripes with the API, the available integrations are impressive. Some in the space (read: Zoho) really limit these as they want to force your hand to use their solutions, Infusionsoft doesn't. They offer a landing page builder but provide a great LeadPages integration. They offer eComm, but offer a great Shopify integration. Their consultant/partner network is impressive as well. Lots of specialized help available for customers who want it.

Cons: The campaign builder is great for a novice (i.e. the target market) but limiting for a more advanced user. I.e, you can't spark an action from an opened email or field value changing. The lead scoring isn't flexible, which is limiting for an organization with unique needs or a clear vision. The shopping cart and storefront builder aren't what I would call slick or flexible but hey.. they integrate with Shopify and many others if you need better. The USPS shipping integration leaves a lot to be desired, real-time estimates would be great. The CRM has almost no customization. Simply being able to hide unwanted fields would be a huge benefit to usability.

Comments: I have researched CRMs and Marketing Software for the past several years. As a REALTOR, the company software had changed multiple times, leaving my personal system outdated, which prompted me to see if it was time to invest and make a commitment to something I would know nothing about until I jump in with two feet and my pocketbook. So I did. I reviewed and tested a multitude of software and found many that I liked but none quite suited for the money vs. the features vs. my unique business needs. Hatchbuck, DaPulse, and 17 Hats are a few I can remember and recommend to varying degrees but each fell short of my specific needs and desired growth. And while several appeared cheaper at the onset, when estimating cost after growth (which would be the "long term") I realized paying a little more now for a consistent pricing may well be the best option. My group has 4-5 users and looking at 5,000 contacts - which need sorted and categorized and updated. So although I may not be concerned about limits on number of emails sent monthly - I did need to cap my user costs and contact costs hoping to grown to about 35,000 contacts. I spoke with all the professionals and most just didn't know what to do and each thought one was as good as another based on personal experience.

Pros: I tried many brands, however, each time I got a great email, an immediate response, a beautiful landing page I continued to see the name Infusionsoft. The research and features were outstanding. As I began looking at those at the higher level of business, which I wanted to obtain, I saw most, in a variety of industries, had chosen Infusionsoft. I was surprised when surveying the target group of Infusionsoft Users, they each were optimistic about their future commitment to continue their relationship. So I jumped in! I am confident it will be an investment of time, money and frustration of efforts - but I look forward to building system, upon a system and automating many general tasks and information sharing.

Cons: The investment was a minor con - but the prices have become more in line with the value as my years of investigation and research continued. The biggest con is the education investment and the delayed gratification of understanding this will be a process. My optimism has been a bit dampened with the realization I may not easily, understand trigger relationships and process. Additionally, my "initial payment" for training although friendly has been less than sufficient, and less than simple to establish a confidence that I can get it done in a year. However, I still believe I will be with the system for a long period of time, and patience and bridled expectations will become the new norm.

Recommendations to other buyers: My advice is two fold depending on your abilities and established levels of business. If you are young in your business go with the easier to use as speed and ease are of high value. However, as the business matures and you are able to begin setting Vision Statements for 10 years or more then you should shut off the desire for easy and focus on strength and endurance. I am not certain of my success with Infusionsoft in the first three months but I am determined it is a system that I will not outgrow. My intent to nurture my contact list is based on building blocks and one step at a time is not so bad - because God Willing there is no end in sight to Abundance and my focus is like marriage - commitment and kindness. The great news is I begin simple, like all things. Build upon a strong foundation. Establish basic needs and evolve. Infusionsoft is my bet - after three years of considerations and many false starts based on free trials and past corporate decisions I am ready to get on with the business of business and stay true to my decision.

Pros: The people of InfusionSoft know how to help customize their software to whatever you want to follow, no matter how unconventional it is. They work hard at through free of cost assistance to leverage their program to the clients benefit.

They have a large and deep community of users that help enrich the users' experience.

Cons: Its integration is less ubiquitous than that of SalesForce, but is growing constantly.

Overall: Looking at most CRMs the database aspect is pretty much the same from one to another. What I have found is that most are slightly better setup for sales than for customer service. Without diminishing the importance of sales (we all need them, all the time) we are a customer service-based company and follow many qualitative data points of customer satisfaction and comments. We use them to keep track of current service levels and to anticipate the needs of our clients.

InfusionSoft has been very good at helping us identify these data and prepare them for analysis. SalesForce is not as friendly to helping us find and use them. I take nothing away from SalesForce and a robust sales program for medium and large operations, however small to medium businesses that are driven by customer service more than sales will find that InfusionSoft is more tho their liking.

As for the value, both are reasonable in terms of ROI, but InfusionSoft is less costly and has a much softer, more relaxed sales team. After sale, InfusionSoft is outstanding in helping capture complex, less obvious data about our clients. InfusionSoft represents the concierge service level that so many businesses are trying to develop and maintain with their customer base.

Recommendations to other buyers: Certainly put InfusionSoft on your list of candidates when you are reviewing for a new CRM. We were pleasantly surprised when we found them a few years ago, and they have only become better since then.

Comments: Infusionsoft is a CRM solution designed for small businesses. It's not the tool for enterprise or medium sized businesses needing more than 15 to 20 seats. Think of it as a MailChimp / Saleforce with an emailing workflow engine. It allow you to build email sequences that adjust the content you send based on what each contact does. That's an over simplification, but at it's core that what it does. It's got a huge community of add on products supporting it. You can build membership sites with it. You can enable call centers with it. The application are numerous, but it is not a tool very everyone. There are times when its not a fit. Many business owners take it on expecting to configure it with minimal outside help. That is probably not a good idea. It's like building your office network yourself following YouTube video instructions. You may get it done, but not without a lot of time and frustration. Even worse, when you are done, you may have made mistakes an experienced person would never do that keep you from making the best use of the tool especially in the long run.

Pros: The tool has a lot of power. It enables you to automate email campaigns targeting each contact based on what you know about them. If they answer a question on a form, you can sent them one thing. If you learn they live in one state versus another, you can customize content to them. If they visit specific pages of your site and login many times into your membership site, you can change what they see. It has a huge amount of power.

Cons: It's not a do-it-yourself tool. Lot's of people complain saying it's too hard to use and too expensive. Infusionsoft is a complex piece of software. If a complete newbee could make it work perfectly on their own, it wouldn't be able to provide you with all the feature it includes. I have seen Infusionsoft sold from the stage with promises that it's a self-serve, DIY solution. Honestly, it is not. That's why you have a very healthy Infusionsoft consultants and partners community servicing it. These consultants and partner focus on all aspects of the solution working to help business owners put the tool to good use.

Recommendations to other buyers: In my opinion, it's best to buy Infusionsoft from an Infusionsoft Certified Partner. Make sure you properly vet your partner. It's a piece of software like may other software systems. You need to find a consultant that matches your needs. It does require plenty of expertise to roll it out and put it to good use. A partner, and again I say one you have properly vetted, is the key to making it work in your business

Pros: The platform seemed to have robust functionality but Infusionsoft's third party providers missed every deadline, failed to provide training, all required programming, and implementation services. Unfortunately it took seven months for us to figure out we'd been taken for a ride. We just made the decision to use our own internal IT staff to create the programming necessary to connect our new website to Infusionsoft (Our website was intentionally designed and built along side our signing with Infusionsoft CRM to insure all technologies aligned). In short, this has been an incredibly slow, frustrating, and expensive lesson.

Cons: The Infusionsoft sales person and sales tech flat out lied about the cost required to set-up/program our CRM system. We provided 100% of our specs in writing, reviewed them between a prospective web developer, my internal IT director, and Infusionsoft. After spending 10-hours over a period of two months reviewing specs, building campaigns, etc etc we signed an agreement on the basis that they could do everything we discussed. Only after you sign an agreement do they tell you they do not train or provide programming themselves. Rather, customers are forced to repeat all the same specifications (4-hours including 4 highly paid vendors & staff = 16-man hours) again with a third party provider. Infuriating! The first third party provider (Success Engine) provided a statement of work on March 2. The end date was April 2. The statement of work communicated they were to complete a total of 10-hours of programming work. Long story short, they slow rolled the build out, missing deadline after deadline, and in June (yea June - to do 10-hours of programming?) provided us with a new quote (bait & switch) stating there was an additional 15-25 hours of programming work required to complete the build out per our specifications. Keep in mind those are the same specifications that we provided and reviewed with them in painstaking detail in February. Infuriating! After receiving the new quote in June we felt we had no choice but to push ahead because we were so far behind schedule and had invested so much time and money into the project. We gave them a deadline of July 1 and they quickly turned down the work because they said they wouldn't be able to meet the deadline. Infuriating! It ultimately took Success Engine until the middle of July to complete the original 10-hours of set-up/programming. Infuriating! So back to June when Success Engine turned down the work; we were forced to ask Infusionsoft to provide us with a new third party provider which of course required us to go over our specifications for a third time (4-hours including 4 highly paid vendors & staff = 16-man hours). The first contact with the new third party provider ThinkAutomateGrow (TrickApatheticGrievance). was mid-June. Once again we communicated our specifications to our assigned programmer and the next day that programmer had a death in the family and was gone. She passed us to another programmer. The new guy was around for about three weeks, didn't do much, then was fired by ThinkAutomateGrow. The first programmer reappeared for about two week but then reported that her son broke his arm. She didn't reply to emails or calls for the next 10-days. When she did reply she said she went on her honeymoon and the auto responder on her email must not have worked correctly. She introduced us via email and teleconference to the owner who spoke to us twice briefly by phone, and replied to a total of three emails. That brings us to last Friday, August 14, 2015. That was the absolute deadline for ThinkAutomateGrow to add us to his production calendar. He failed to respond. It is now Aug 19. The decision was made to use our own internal IT staff to create the programming necessary to connect our new website to Infusionsoft. I WOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER, DO BUSINESS WITH THESE UNETHICAL SO-CALLED BUSINESS PEOPLE.

Recommendations to other buyers: Software seems good but if the sales people lie to you about the cost of programming and the third party providers can't get it programmed anyway what good does it do your company? Don't just walk away....RUN!

Comments: Infusionsoft is a solid choice for a small business without ambitions to scale rapidly (i.e. think accounting firm, not tech startup).

Pros: As a CRM Analyst/Consultant, most of my projects are helping companies administrated and implemented different types of CRMS and marketing software. So I have the chance to research and test a multitude of CRM's and Marketing Software for the past several years and Infusionsoft is one of my favorites. I have helped two small companies(around 20-30 employees)implement this product from start to finish. I have very impressed on how robust and strong this CRM really is. With this software, you can create a software stack with different add-ons which can accomplish almost anything. There are programs that help with scheduling, membership sites, integration with Facebook audiences, text messaging and countless others. Infusionsoft has an API that is easy to use and integrate with other systems you may be using. For the price, I would say this is an all in one CRM tool. Another great feature that Infusionsoft offers is the ability to create mobile-responsive landing pages and pairing this automation with a CRM with robust capability for sales follow-up is what creates the value and you also get the ability to generate e-commerce and tracking reports. I would definitely recommend this product.

Cons: Infusionsoft only includes the basic Lead Generation reports. If you want to generate the true ROI reports it will require you to purchase add-ons, such as Wicked Reports. I would say that these reports are critical for understanding where your leads are generated and how to refine your marketing.

Comments: Infusionsoft is an AMAZING software and it has transformed my business. Since I've automated all my video production and promotion processes for my clients, I'm now positioned to serve hundreds of clients over the next few years and make a much bigger positive difference in their lives. Infusionsoft is such an absolute game changer.

Pros: Customer support is very good and readily available, and I use it weekly to continue to build out and automate my systems. The app's functionality allows me to streamline my services by automating the process. It does the work of a full-time project manager, and does it better and faster since it's automated.

Cons: They don't call it "confusionsoft" for nothing. It's confusing in many ways. But I think for an app with such robust functionality, it just can't be totally obvious and simple because there are too many moving parts. It's a complex software that has the ability to execute complex functions, which means it's not going to necessarily be something you can just pick up and use without any training. I think the big area that could be improved is the Referral Partner Center. It seems exceptionally non-intuitive.

Recommendations to other buyers: The reason Infusionsoft has been so valuable for me is that I have a linear, sequential process for my services that lends itself to an automated approach, since it's always thing #1, then thing #2, then thing #3, etc. If you also have a business built on a sequential repeatable process that requires several different staff members to work together in the same order over and over, Infusionsoft may be a gamechanger for you too.

Comments: The ecosystem of Infusionsoft is almost as important as the software itself. You can create a software stack with a number of different add-ons which can accomplish most anything. There are programs that help with scheduling (Appointment Core), membership sites (Memberium), integration with Facebook audiences (Sync2CRM), text messaging (Plus This) and countless others. Infusionsoft has an API with which it is easy to integrate and many platforms within the community have done just that.

Pros: Infusionsoft simply has the best "all-in-one CRM" for the price. The marketing automation section of Infusionsoft includes a visual campaign builder for automated emails which I consider one of the best in the industry. The ability to create beautiful, mobile-responsive landing pages simply adds to the value of the automation. Pairing this automation with a CRM with robust capability for sales follow-up is what creates the value. The e-commerce and tracking reports are just a bonus.

Cons: Infusionsoft includes basic Lead Generation reports but true ROI reports require add-ons, such as Wicked Reports or Graphly. Such reports are critical for understanding from where your leads are generated and how to refine your marketing. Despite this being a downside, I would add that a software stack of Infusionsoft and Wicked Reports is often less expensive and more effective than other CRM alternatives. Additionally, Infusionsoft is planning to release advanced analytics baked into the platform shortly, or so I have heard.

Pros: Infusionsoft is very, very powerful when the implementation is thought out, most functions are used, and it is maintained in the marketing programs of businesses. The Campaign Builder has incredible power in building marketing and business automation for a business. I've built a lot of automation for my clients that takes much of the workload of staff and owners. It also provides ways to provide information to staff and management without them having to log in constantly.

Infusionsoft has an APi that makes specific customizations possible and allows for numerous external apps that add function, value, and ease to Infusionsoft.

Cons: The ecommerce shopping cart has always come up short for processing multiple products. The single order forms are functional and useful. Again, Infusionsoft's API and developer relationships provide for enhancements and substitutions for areas that might be lacking.

Overall: As an email marketing system, marketing and business automation tool, crm, and order processing Infusionsoft is very functional and powerful. It is a complex system, by it's very nature because it is so powerful and the functionality available. I have clients set up with powerful automation, business processes that simplify their efforts, and integration with other systems that can handle their financial accounting, etc... At this point Infusionsoft is simplifying the front end User Interface so it is easier for end users and have also made entry cost much less for entry level.

Comments: After a stringent review of the various CRM packages out there I came across infusion soft which uses a canvas to help you create various initiatives to keep in contact with clients. ON the surface it looked good and for a business with a simple business model it looked good. Having spoken to the representative about the needs of my business. I was promised that it would help me connect stakeholders to customers. After investing in the software and training I found that the canvas is just a way of doing simple tools and tasks and that anything a little bit complicated is out of the realms of possibility. If you are looking for a CRM that is just about connecting sales to your business it is probably ok, but make sure that you get the most out of the training. They tend to talk you through a few items then send you to their videos. What they don't do is follow up. In fact, they won't even talk to you. InfusionSoft promises an online chat facility which is never staffed, well not for anyone overseas, and the people that can help you charge like a wounded bull to resolve your issues. InfusionSoft makes a lot of promises. For my business... the outright lied and then won't even call me back to discuss resolution!

Pros: It's a good sales connector and can provide an easy format to automate various proactive sales elements (spiffs and special campaigns)

Cons: The follow-up is lacking and working with the client becomes very expensive very quickly for anything out of the norm.. (and the norm is a very narrow band of sales activity - any marketing with kickbacks becomes a bit too difficult for their system so it's a bit of a waste if you are looking for something to help challenge the status quo).

Recommendations to other buyers: If you are looking for something that helps control your sales and sales clients. It can be a good software. However my experience has shown that trying to go into more difficult terrain (such as a complex marketing campaign) they are expensive and lack the ability to deliver on their promises.

I have been an Infusionsoft users for longer than 8 years and now as a business coach I am also a Infusionsoft partner and recommend it to my clients.

Comments: Generally I feel sorry for a business that doesnt have a CRM in place like Infusionsoft. I have seen many businesses that have been in "The land of paper" or working from dodgy old excel databases have such great growth and it really streamlines their business and brings it into the NOW! Infusionsoft really does automate your business which allows a business owner more time for what they should be doing nad less time bogged down with paperwork. It also allows a business owner to have a birds-eye-view of all the activity in their business which is crucial for business growth!

Pros: I got hooked by the automation as follow-up is so important in business and is often overlooked or forgotten by a business. Set it up right and your clients will love how attentive you are ( and you haven't thought about them once!) I love the easy build newsletter templates and the webforms are great for building your database and getting enquiries! Plus there is the benefit of the online wall.

Cons: Sometimes email broadcasts don't make it through company firewalls and simply hard bounce. And the fact that I live in Australia and we still have to call and liase at silly times (6am or 11pm) to get support is not cool.

Pros: -This software is pretty easy to use for most basic applications.

-There are many options and nearly endless uses for Infusionsoft. If you can think of a way you want to use it, the support team can help you implement it.

-The automation of this software is what I love the most about it. At first, you spend a good amount of time setting everything up but once it is set up it runs pretty much all on its own. Saving you time.

The support for infusionsoft is one of the best I have ever dealt with. They go above and beyond to help you figure it out. Your success really is their success.

Cons: If you want to do some of the more details campaigns it can get a little tricky. If you are not spending a lot of time on the software you may forget how to do some things that you don't do on a regular basis. The support team is usually happy to help or get someone who can.

Overall: Automation in email marketing, a place where I can store all my contacts, the ability to stay in front of my customers, return customers due to the fact that they don't forget about us. My time is also freed up so I am able to accomplish more in my day.

Pros: Infusionsoft has been working to improve their existing features, like the functionality and customization capability of their Responsive Drag & Drop email builder and the improvements in building more complex products and upsells in their E-commerce platform, they are quickly beginning to eliminate the need for many of the 3rd party integrations and plug-ins, and truly becoming an all-in-one solution for marketing, CRM, e-commerce and more for your business.

Cons: Even with Infusionsoft's many improvements of the last 6-12 months, often there are still barriers to the software's functionality and communication to other programs and plug-ins (integrations) that require yet another purchase or subscription to use. Some of these 3rd party applications offer free integrations, but they are often unreliable or simply non-existent. As an Infusionsoft user who handles multiple accounts for my clients, it is frustrating to have to go to clients again and again with news that they need to spend more money (when Infusionsoft is plenty pricey already) in order to achieve the results they were hoping. Infusionsoft has long been touted as the all-in-one solution, but at this point, and in order to achieve true, full functionality, this is not yet the case.

Comments: My husband runs 13 restraurants with Infusionsoft. I run a coaching and training business. The software is adaptable to your situation. And the training that it provides turns your entire team into a marketing/sales powerhouse!

Pros: I love the ease of the email templates and putting really cool stuff out to my clients. I love seeing the monthly updates and the improvements. There is so much power in the software and I've only been able to tap a small bit of it. It's completely worth the cost you pay because the support is huge! The whole company is dedicated to helping small businesses succeed. Love the Podcast, the emails, the tutuorials, and the support staff who just keep delivering massive content to help you grow your business.

Cons: There's a learning curve to get started. I highly recommned taking the University course they provide because with it, you'll have everything you need to really make a quick impact in your business. The company is still very USA centric but with the new improvements like language support and multi currency support, those of us in other countries now better options.

Comments: It has been over 2 years since we switch to InfusionSoft from other marketing automation tool and CRM system, and it has been the most positive experience. The team and management could not be more happy with the transition. From the sales process to the on-boarding, InfusionSoft people were polite, professional, and for sure helped us up our game when it comes to sales and automation - ACROSS THE BOARD!

Pros: Besides offering the best customer and technical support team I have ever dealt with, InfusionSoft allows it's users to grow in skills and develop expertise in the software, which in turn, reduces the need to hire an external consultant and keeps the knowledge in house. This is very much invaluable as we continue to grow our team over time. With InfusionSoft we were also able to stream processes such as email marketing, sales pipeline, CRM and customization of our customer email marketing program. The Campaign Builder is unquestionably the best feature InfusionSoft offers, with dozens of internal tools and functionality to utilize. My favorite trick is the Campaign Links, allowing you to change the links used in internal emails of the campaign as URLs change - so you don't have to worry about going to each email and change the URL manually. This saves hours of man time and allows your team to focus on strategy and implementation.

Cons: We had some bumps on the road, and continue to experience some difficulties with InfusionSoft. In my opinion, the system was not originally developed for B2B companies and this is why opportunity (=each sale coming through the system) and contact records are linked in an odd and inefficient way. We approached the company with this issue, and were told they are working on a way to fix it. However, as we improved our knowledge and skills with the software, we were able to find a work-around to solve this issue.

This company is a scam. They offer very little to nothing in terms of building your client base and offer no content or customer service.

Cons: We did not receive any of the services that Infusionsoft had promised to us and that we have been billed for. We were misled and misinformed as to the capabilities and services that Infusionsoft promised us they could provide. After we uploaded our client list into their database we experienced problems getting through to anyone in customer service or our "Coaches" to even get the initial process started and when we finally did get through after several months and finally scheduled the first of 3 of our hour long "Kickstart Onboarding Calls", that we were billed an add for on top of our monthly subscription fee, we were informed within the first 15 mins of that 1st call that none of the capabilities or services we were originally promised were even possible for them to provide to us. Our coach told us that everything we were looking to do with their service, that their sales rep assured us we could do or get, was not possible or something they could even provide. We then told our coach that we wanted to cancel the service and get a full refund and he said he couldn't help us with that but that he would inform customer service to call us to discuss our concerns. He said he could not give a name or phone number to us for customer service because he didn't have any of that info and could only send an internal request for someone to call us. What service company has no customer service number? It took several days for us to receive a callback but finally got a call from a Customer Care Manager. I told him we wanted to cancel our service and get a full refund as their service was not capable of doing any of what was promised, nor had they provided us with any service of any kind to date. He told me we could cancel but that we would be billed an Early Termination Fee & they would not issue any refunds even though they have not provided any service to us nor could they do what we needed. We will be contacting our lawyer at this point.

Comments: As a small law office, I didn't think I would need a robust solution like Infusionsoft. Wrong! I love the product! it has helped me keep in touch with my clients, announce new initiatives, track Facebook click-throughs (through a partner), stay current with my referral sources, and more. I even use it in conjunction with a scheduling system so that when my clients self-schedule their appointment, it is confirmed via email, and their records are automatically stored or updated in the CRM. Then as we complete the work, "campaigns" (the processes inside Infusionsoft) set tags, track progress, and notify internal staff of next steps. I'm not sure how I would live without it now!

Pros: Robust, full featured email marketing system and more. Customer support is outstanding... I call, and I get a real person who knows the system, and answers! There are many excellent providers of third party apps for Infusionsoft, with a huge array of features.

Cons: It is somewhat overwhelming, but, once you "get" how it works, creating new sequences and new campaigns is a relatively quick process. I'm not impressed with the native mobile app, which is very limited in function, but if you need access to contacts, they are there.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make full use of the Kick-start program (free) when you sign up. If you don't "get it" within the first 30 days, look for a third party partner or Infusionsoft support to assist you. It has taken me almost a year to really get rolling, and I did end up hiring a provider to build-out some foundational campaigns, although I had useful things launched in a few weeks initially.

Comments: Switching to Infusionsoft and investing in training through the Infusionsoft University has taken us from a local company to an international company with consistent sales year round. I would be willing to say Infusionsoft is the number one reason for our growth.

Pros: Using Infusionsoft has allowed us to consistently double our revenue every year. The ability to close deals increases 10 fold when you can automate many of the processes. Before we started using Infusionsoft there was never enough time in the day to get things done. Now we can follow up on every lead and close the deals that were slipping through our fingers without it. With just two of us in the office, it allows us to reach out with over 30,000 emails per month to prospective customers to deliver the information they need to convert to a buyer. We could not possibly do this manually. The cost of hiring staff to do the same work would be 10 times more expensive.

Cons: There is a pretty steep learning curve and it is more costly than others but if you can invest the time to really learn the software and implement as many features as possible, it more than pays for itself in the long run.

Pros: Focus on small businesses and businesses: This is a strong point of this platform because it safeguards the interests and tries to cover the needs of a sector, that of small businesses and businesses, generally something forgotten by the tools and Marketing services.

Sales-centric: Everything related to this platform is directly related to the increase of sales: interface, Web page, demos, help systems. With the added value that, according to the experience of many of its users who claim to have increased their volume of business, achieves its objectives with solvency.

Remarkable system of automation and integration of services: its functionalities in this area are more than enough for the type of company that the program is aimed at. Therefore, we can talk about a practical tool and perfectly aligned with your objectives and customer profile.

Cons: Roaming: As it is aimed at small businesses, it is fully aware that these, being limited in resources and personnel, cannot devote many hours to attracting clients.

The price: Although the monthly quotas are acceptable, the initial amount to be paid is quite high, taking into account that there is no trial version (only a demo). You can check the prices of the tool in the price page of your website.

Reporting: This functionality is quite loose, especially with regard to the generation of marching details of campaigns and sales trends.

Poor web analytics: This is another aspect that should be improved, since the data offered are scarce and unreliable when determining conversion rates.

Overall: Without losing this idea at any time, Infusionsoft has launched a marketing and sales automation software with everything needed to get more customers, increase sales and save time. All this focused on small business sectors

Comments: Biggest complaint is that emails aren't responsive - which in 2015 means your messages look bad on more than half of the devices. Text is way too small on mobile devices and messages don't even look that great on desktop (constrained width, poor formatting options etc) . They keep saying that they're working on this but no date given for launch. Frankly, their software platform seems too bloated and "mature" for them to easily accomplish this without a total overhaul of the platform

There are serious bugs with certain browsers (ie, chrome, safari) that make working in the campaign builder frustrating.

I've discovered much better automation tools that are tailored to an e-commerce owners (rare.io for instance) that also integrate directly with our Shopify platform. Most are also much less expensive and doesn't require setup or expensive integration. (we're currently also paying $100/month just to connect Shopify with Infusionsoft)

I think Infusionsoft is best for people peddling e-books and knowledge products, that don't depend on presentation or design for differentiation. The campaign builder is cool for long, funnel based sales sequences but less of a differentiator these days, as the ability to create if/then response emails seems increasingly to be a standard feature for email platforms.

Customer service is excellent - no fault there (thanks Goldman Sachs).

The platform is potentially very powerful but requires a ton of time and effort tom implement, test and troubleshoot campaigns. In our case, I thought this was going to help with our B2B efforts but have found these really can;t be automated. The CRM by itself is quite good but if paying over $200/month there are much cheaper options. I was hoping to integrate everything in one system but looks like it will be cheaper and more effective not to for us to combine the best tools for each job.

Overall, while Infusionsoft is a fairly mature platform, this is now working against them as mobile takes over. I think Infusionsoft is going to lose market share to smaller more nimble platforms that do one thing really well, and integration between tools becomes simpler and more ubiquitous. You will end up with a few platforms but overall it will be cheaper and closer to what you actually need.

PS - It's hard to find Infusionsoft "reviewers" who aren't on the take. Infusionsoft has a very well developed reseller program having been around for a long time.

Not for everyone, but certainly awesome!

Pros: I love the ease with which I can build an automated campaign - just drag and drop! It's also great that it can integrate with almost anything. The customer service is superb. The company is super receptive to feedback, and over the course of my customer-ship has made multiple upgrades for the better.

Cons: Because of its broad functionality, it can be pretty overwhelming to the newbie. There are also multiple ways to accomplish the same objective (adding tags to a contact, as an example), that it makes it difficult to train internally. We also have an eCommerce function that goes totally unused, because we're not in the eCommerce business. I feel like it should be an optional add-on, really.

Overall: From the first day of our product purchase, the Infusionsoft team made it clear that they were committed to our success. From the onboarding training, to their technical support, to their webinars - it's easy to tell they care about their customers and have total belief in their product. We were able to learn what we needed to automate and integrate our business, and quit doing repetitive tasks manually. It's opened up a world of integrations for us, and has been the catalyst to finding other software to complement and bolster our Infusionsoft tasks.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do your research about the software - it's not for everyone, but it's certainly working well for us.

Pros: I love that it's an all-around software package. You can send out emails (broadcasts), set up campaigns (numerous emails), tag your potential contacts to segregate your lists, use simple opt ins, and sell products online. You can have evergreen campaigns that work 24 hours for you. The ecommerce section is flexible. I love, love, love phone support...AND I also like there are private and non-private FB groups to provide support and valuable information about the software.

Cons: Initially it's overwhelming to people because there are so many features to the software. The learning curve is steep but then you can create a fully automated system to promote your business. There are some quirks with the campaigns but you can learn about them. I do think business owners need to look at the cost of the system and determine if they'll use it effectively.

Overall: I've been a Infusionsoft Virtual Assistant for 5 years. I'm the implementor of the marketing strategies for my clients. I also love that there are so many facets to the system that it's never boring.

Solid CRM for Marketing Minded Business Owners

Dec 20, 2011

Pros: Complex enough to deal with the complex marketing challenges that business owners face, but simple enough that you can train your staff to utilize it in a couple days.

Their tagging, and custom fields allow for extreme segmentation of your database. Their API allows for extremely custom solutions that their standard software may not address.

Customer support is excellent and the management of the company is very interested in what the customer needs and is looking for.

Biggest plus of Infusionsoft is their origin story. The software was initially developed to meet the demands of direct response marketers. From that starting point they have enhanced the service to meet or exceed industry standards for CRMs.

Quite frankly, we wouldn't be in business if it were not for the automation we were able to achieve using InfusionSoft. I'd recommend this software to ANY BUSINESS PERSON who is serious about marketing and automation.

Cons: It's complex software. It isn't a basic auto responder, there are a lot of parts.

To be frank, after using the software for years I still don't know how to use 60% of what I know it can do.

While support is great, there could be more educational opportunities to during the course of the year to learn specific sections of the software's capabilities.

There's a significant investment up front for the software that may cause some to hesitate (it's worth it, but still, that could be a con for some)

You get penalized for people not knowing that marking you as spam is a big deal for the sender. So even if the recipient requested you email them, if they mark you as spam, you can get get into trouble with InfusionSoft. (I think this may be the case with any email sender though.)

Overall: If you're working out of spreadsheets or locally stored CRM or a mix of marketing systems (including billing), STOP!

Put this powerful CRM to work for you. I PROMISE this is the number 1 biggest right move we made when we formed our company, and you can't go wrong.

Pros: The campaign builder is easy to learn and easy to use, as well as the email builder. It will get all your basics taken care of there, and being able to preview an desktop AND mobile was a huge pro.

Cons: It is very difficult to navigate to what you need, even with adequate training. Nothing is intuitive, and all of the reports are just lists of contacts filtered for something.

Most importantly, this tool is not adequate if you're wanting to integrate at all. Even they say that you may need to hire an InfusionSoft partner to manage your tool for you to use it to the best of its capability. I would argue that if you need to hire a specialist to use your SaaS for you, your SaaS is not a good tool.

Overall: We got InfusionSoft primarily to be able to send automated email campaigns based off of actions people were taking on our web app. We were led to believe that they had the RESTful API infrastructure for this, and so we went for it. Also, we were told we'd have to have the ecommerce product to meet our goals, and in our onboarding we learned that we actually did not.

Coming up on 10 months later, it is the worst business decision we ever made. Their REST API is not fully functional, and when presented with issues, their Dev team suggests that you switch to using their old API [with which our integration is not compatible, and which they are working to sunset anyway]. Worse, they require manual reauthentication of the API token on a regular basis AND the support for their API is outsourced and is unresponsive and unhelpful. When a reauthentication error took place that essentially mooted our entire integration two months ago, they took weeks to get back with us. Now, since we've moved to their new interface, there is no way to opt-in our users so we can send them emails [the only people we put in the CRM are people who registered accounts on our site]. This has rendered InfusionSoft 100% useless, and all our integration work is trash.

Hi Erica,

I am truly sorry to hear that you have had such a frustrating experience. I have looked into your case history and it sounds like, unfortunately, your recent API ticket just did not get to the appropriate team quickly enough. API support is not outsourced, but it sounds like you initially worked with our contracted support team and there was a delay in getting your ticket with our advanced team.

We apologize for the experience, and have reached out to resolve the issue, as well as refunded you for this period. Again, this is not the experience we want for our customers and we understand your frustration completely.

Pros: I love the all-in-one aspect of the software design. I can manage CRM, e-commerce, marketing automation, and task & workflow management for manual processes all through my Infusionsoft app. Additionally, their API is constantly improving and we're able to add new functionality, reporting and custom creations utilizing Infusionsoft as the backbone. And with just about all my data in one place, everything just "plays nicely". You can't ask for more than that!

Cons: There's really not a lot to say here. Infusionsoft does everything I could ask it for. At times, when I do need support for more advanced applications, their Tier 1 folks might not be able to help and Tier 2 gets stretched thin. Again, this is usually only for advanced applications, so I understand that it might take longer to troubleshoot and solve those types of problems.

Overall: Business automation, at a high level. Not just marketing, but billing automation, workflow automation, and membership management and automation as well.

Pros: As a single mother and business owner I need to have tools available to me that help me do the work of several people. Infusionsoft gives me the ability to automate my sales and marketing and put processes into place that would take me hours and hours to do on my own. I am able to create multiple marketing funnels, sales funnels, launches and internal processes that help my business run efficiently.

Cons: Infusionsoft has a pretty steep learning curve, it can take a little while to learn all the ins and outs of what this powerful software can do. For some people this is a huge struggle but for others (like me) they actually enjoy learning all the various elements of the system.

Overall: This software has made it possible for me to run and build my business from my home office while also caring for my family. It allows me to automate processes that normally take up my valuable time. It allows me to market my business online, follow up with customers and prospects as well as saves me time.

Pros: Infusionsoft has done an excellent job in building a very interactive, user-friendly platform for small businesses. Since a recent update to the platform, the system has become far more streamlined and simple to enter data quick and efficiently without any hassle. This is especially helpful for our sales team, as they are easily able to update a contact while they are on the phone to them, which keeps our data up-to-date at all times. The functionality to be able to invoice and email the invoice directly from the Infusionsoft database is an extremely helpful tool. It enables us to collect payment right away from our customers and has majorly reduced our accounts receivables.

Cons: The only thing we have found to be a disadvantage, is the fact that the system can be somewhat slow on our network and doesn't always work at the speed we would like it to.

Pros: That I am able to house my CRM, autoresponder, marketing automation, e-commerce, and affiliate platform all from the same software which means that automatically all of those pieces work together flawlessly.

Cons: There is definitely room for improvement in the e-commerce area of Infusionsoft. I am disappointed that the storefront is so limited in that capabilities to only show certain offerings. In my opinion, this creates an additional step for those who don't what every single item they sell or have available to be shown, and for the price of the software, they should really be improving on the function of the e-commerce system.

Overall: I have multiple divisions of my company and am able to market to specific segments appropriately with little headache. The time saved in having e-commerce, CRM, automation, and affiliate platforms contained within has saved time and money. I am really hoping Infusionsoft steps up their game in the next year.

Pros: I can easily take almost any sales or marketing process and automate it. For example, if someone calls my office asking for more information, I ask them for their name, number and either an email address or physical address I can send the information to. I fill out one form with this information and InfusionSoft sends a series of emails and/or physical mail to the requestor. Then, in about 4 days, I get a notification to call them back and follow-up on the information I sent them. I don't have to remember, because it does the thinking and follow-up for me. Also, I realized I was wasting about 1-2 hours everyday just sending people information, because I had to find the file, write an email/letter, attach the file/print the letter, and then send the email or mail the letter. Now the system does that for me, and I spend about 10 minutes a day sending information. Now I can focus on selling rather than prospecting, which I enjoy much more.

Cons: The thing I don't like very much is that I have to use a third party plug-in so my clients can set up appointments with me, which comes at an extra cost. I wish the software had that built in, but setting up the appointment software was pretty simple.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't think that InfusionSoft is only for people who sell stuff online. I provide consulting services and don't sell anything online, and it has really helped automate a lot of simple time wasting activities for me. Also, their Kickstart services are pretty good. But if you really want to maximize your time with the consultant, then spend a few hours watching some of the webinars and try to build a simple campaign in the software. I did this and it really helped me get started quicker than most. If you're going to invest the money into a system like this, then you might as well learn a little bit about it so you can start using it asap.

Infusionsoft does a lot of key things very well.

Comments: Infusionsoft has been the key to increasing my sales without getting more staff. It's enabled me to focus on creating campaigns that keep generating new clients and increasing the revenue I get from existing clients. My business really couldn't operate without it. I've tried other (cheaper / sexier) systems and kept coming back to infusionsoft as my business core (and I'm only using a fraction of its capacity). Every month I pay my subscription with a smile... it's worth that much to me.

Pros: Comprehensive marketing software that helps you:- 1. Communicate with your target market; 2. Segment your list and send customised messages to groups; 3. Track responsiveness; 4. Increase profits and sales. Once you invest the time to learn it properly it is quite easy to use and their tech support is great.

Cons: 1. Because it has so many features it's quite complex. 2. Because they are constantly updating the software sometimes their help articles are out of date.

Comments: As a musician marketing my own online music courses, I'm not a trained business person. Infusionsoft's guidance into how to package, market, and promote my services has been invaluable. I have learned a lot from the free materials that they continue to offer to make sure that their clients succeed in business!

Pros: As a solo-entrepreneur, Infusionsoft offers all the automation features I need for interoffice repetitive work, marketing/promotion, eCommerce, and customer tracking. It never misses a day. It never sleeps. It's always working. Customer service is always there and ready to answer the phone. That's huge for me.

Pros: Automation it brings entrepreneurs saving them time and money. Realizing the internal time it can save office and sales managers. Easy to stay in quick contact with new leads. Like the flexibility of the timers and all the functions in campaign builder.

Cons: When something doesn't work right, trying to figure out what is causing that. And also understanding some of the reporting.

Overall: Enjoy seeing entrepreneurs realize how beneficial a functioning campaign can be. It's the feeling you get when you've solved a puzzle. You feel you are accomplishing your marketing goals.

Pros: User interface Infusionsoft has one of the best-designed user interfaces in the marketing automation industry. Their visual campaign builder makes crafting even the most complex of nurturing sequences both fun and intuitive. Great support & training. And easy to manage leads with our automated emails we have created.

Cons: The reporting is lacking. It's not as visual as many other CRM systems out there, which is becoming a common requirement.

Despite the great functionality, the pricing is somewhat steep for small businesses. You must purchase a Kickstart service package, which includes a personal coaching mentor who evaluates your current business/marketing style, helps you understand Infusionsoft, and generally aims to improve your business and I've heard this is actually helpful, but nonetheless it's a hefty cost or small businesses.

Pros: Integrated CRM and e-mail marketing. The customer support was pretty timely and helpful, especially because I was a newbie and no one else in my office had the capacity to support me. I had some real struggles, but the customer support was very responsive.

Cons: The program is not intuitive at all, particularly the e-mail marketing portion. The tutorials don't match current features, which can get confusing. The program was buggy. Which really got in the way of me learning this new software. For the two months that I tried to use the system we uncovered at least 2 bugs. Customer support had to give me funky work-arounds until they got things fixed. I was running Infusionsoft in Google Chrome, but regularly ran into snags, particularly when it came to sending out mass e-mails - error messages. I was told not to run the program in Chrome, that Infusionsoft was optimized for use with FireFox - that seemed odd to me. The price is very high, especially for a small business. Also training is super expensive. My boss had purchased the training package a year ago and the person he had on board left part-way through the training process, so it was left unused. I was having problems coming up to speed with the software (largely due to repeatedly running into bugs) and asked for a discount on some training (a few times). Infusionsoft was insistent that we needed to pay for an entirely new training package for me or attend a seminar, if we wanted any support beyond the help desk. Only when we called to cancel our subscription did they offer to provide some on-boarding training for me. It was just plain too late by that time.

Recommendations to other buyers: Really look at your business needs and the skill level of the folks who will be using the system. For the small business I'm working with, we took a good, hard look at what we really needed and found that we could do very well with Insightly. We saved considerable money per month going with a software that is more user friendly and in line with what we required.

Comments: Great product

Pros: I like the Automation/Campaigns - The email editor has gotten real good also, early on, the email editor was my most hated thing. Pretty easy now. Love it! Also, being able to dream up a product and launch it in an hour and make money immediately. That is powerful. Infusionsoft has by far the best customer support...Period. We have numerous vendors under contract with our businesses, and none of them, I repeat None of them can hold a candle to Infusionsoft from a support side

Cons: If I would have a complaint, it would be with the limitations with the shopping cart. We run multiple businesses, and we can not use the ecommerce side for multiple disciplines simultaneously. Out businesses are synergistic, so the customer database is fertile for both, however we can not have multiple shopping carts, store fronts at the same time.

Hi Harry,
Thank you for your kind words, I¿m glad you like the new email builder. Also, if you are looking for more e-commerce capabilities, check out BigCommerce, our preferred e-commerce partner. Pros: Promised great features to track incoming leads, follow-ups and automated email-drip system, along with seeing the use of potential customers. This program described everything our company looked for to help improve increased clients hiring.

Cons: The system is complicated to use, and if you do not click on the correct "action" for the potential client, it sends out the wrong information going from that point on. The creations of the emails were very time consuming and the samples that were given were very generic and sounded like every other company and would not set us apart from others in the decision to hire. The wrong emails were being sent out for a short period of time, which was an error on the set-up team. The numbers on how many people clicked on our emails weren't to our satisfaction. Which is not a direct reflection on the program, but of the usage of email from the customers. We used this system in conjunction with a 3rd party who handled all of the behind the scenes, so it may be different if you were using it on your own. The amount of time it took to update the system was not efficient for our company.

Overall: The platform of the software did not meet our needs, but it showed us everything we need to track to accurately distinguish client acquisitions and help improve the hire percentage rate. It allowed us to understand what information is needed to grow our business.

Comments: The software sat around as a glorified email marketing tool. Do not buy this as a small business. This is definitely more of a medium-large sized tool for businesses who need to manage large swaths of networked content across devices and platforms. It is simply too clunky for any one user to go in and make use of, it requires endless setup for optimizations. The email marketing templates are shoddy and leaving a lot to be desired in terms of the builder and starter templates. Support is not there. Not good support, anyways. Expect to pay buckets of money for this company to assist you in any meaningful way past showing you where something is, they will not be proficient or knowledgeable enough to help you understand how.

Pros: Powerful platform in the hands of developers/code experts. Can do a lot of meaningful, intricate campaigns based on series of conditions that results in a nearly unlimited email marketing platform. Has a marketplace for campaigns.

Cons: Marketed as a Small Business Service, it fails to be simple enough to be helpful. Expensive, costly. Marketing strategy for company is cheap. Hire people to be affiliates, have them write endless blogs on why it's perfect for your SMB, Then, abandon the end user once they don't want to pay you any more. Extremely disorienting tool, with no easy way to clear up the clutter of all the different tabs and features. Lots of custom set up required, just like any other large CRM platform that promises to do it all.

Comments: The problem of this product is, Infusionsoft pays $500 referral fee to the person introduce to them. So a lot of contractors will say that infusionsoft is good. But those contractor may only know how to use 5% of the product, which is similar to other lower cost competitors which pays less referral fees. And when you want to cancel, my experience is they will skip your emails. Here is our story: Infusionsoft charges $2000 start up cost +$299 per month of service fee, the Sales says if it is not for us, they will do something to credit the upfront $2000 back to us. After our company used it for a month we emailed Sales saying infusionsoft is not for us, he says that he will forward the message to customer service. We haven't heard from infusionsoft again, we have followed up with Sales with no reply. Our credit card is billed month after month, which forced us to call my credit card to cancel the card. Then someone from Infusionsoft customer service emailed us saying we have unpaid balance. We asked him to communicate with Sales and credit us back for the months that we didn't use. The customer service rep disappeared again. I personally would not recommend any company to use their service. - Most companies would not need such a BIG solution. If you are big enough you will go to SAP. - Their $500 referral fee, and false sales promises is not someone would look for. - Don't worry about cancelling with them, they skip these emails.

Pros: Their sales person is really good at hooking you up with the product.

Cons: They pay $500 referral fee to affiliates for introductions. So if you hire outside consultants, they would hook you up with infusionsoft for the referral fee. Which is not in favour of your business position. Moreover their sales person will give false promises to get your business. And you will have a hard time trying to cancel your subscriptions.

This system is way too complicated & takes way too long to learn.

Comments: I just find it very difficult to use.

Pros: For the most part, your customer service is pretty good at helping however, I have had several that have not been very good & even given me the wrong information.

Cons: There are many things that are not addressed in your training software. After you sign up you are told that you need to spend several thousand more to get proper training. I asked repeatedly for an overview of the entire system and how it works to communicate with all of the different components & there is nothing. There are many things that are broken. For example, if I type/send a letter through infusionsoft to a client, you need to make hard returns after each paragraph in order for the paragraphs to be separated. In addition, there aren't enough word document features to use inside the program. Also, you can only send through infusionsoft, you can't receive anything. You need to develop a proper email system to both send and receive through IS. If you want to record the information or response from the client you have to cut and paste it in your notes.

Pros: InfusionSoft does a lot of things great. The email broadcasts work perfectly for blasting your email list. The campaign builder is fairly robust, allowing you to make precise sales funnels that send emails, phone messages and other marketing the moment you want them to go out. InfusionSoft has also done a good job of working with third parties, making integration with applications, webinars, landing pages, and other eCommerce apps easy. InfusionSoft also has great support. If you ever have a question or need help getting a campaign started, they are great to work with.

Cons: At the same time, there are a few things InfusionSoft is weak at. First, their webform builder is hideous. It's almost required that you find a third party web form plugin to make anything visually decent for collecting customer information. Secondly, there's a regular problem where the email builder shows you one thing, while the actual delivered email looks fairly different. The most common problem I see with this is an email coming out completely bold, when you only wanted certain parts. Lastly, their reports are terrible for email. When you set up a campaign you will have a very difficult time finding out what the open rates, click-throughs, and other metrics are for your individual emails. You can get this info rather easily for one off broadcast emails, but not so much for anything you have as part of an evergreen campaign.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you want a marketing program that can help you build your list and marketing to them, InfusionSoft is great. If you need advanced analytics on your campaign's emails you may need something else. Like all software, InfusionSoft comes with some limitations, but overall it's been a great product and we've seen excellent results using it.

Comments: Infusionsoft is what all others are aspiring to so I'm surprised more ease of use features aren't happening. I know I when I ask, I why they don't have a certain feature....I'll often get the response "when there are enough comments, complaints or suggestions, they may consider it. I often felt like I wasn't being heard, they were definitely doing their job, it was the way they were told how to "deal" with me.

Pros: What it does after you have it all set up- automation. The integrations process, Pretty seamless. The very best tech support, their knowledgeable and really patient

Cons: I'm still waiting for drag & drop Lead page. It feels like you have to go in & out of rooms down a long hallway at times. I'm so surprised at times how some of the features: font selection, lacking in drag & drop are issues for what is potentially one of the greatest automation apps. Lacking in download space & size for company files

Pros: InfusionSoft was great at first and exciting to learn the platform and start building campaigns. The campaign builder is by far the best part as it is very easy to understand and super easy to visualize your campaign the way it maps out. The elements, processes, communications, etc. are all on a grid map with arrows connecting and directing contacts where to go based on criteria, tags, and triggers you define and set. Once your developers connect everything you need, it is fun to create campaigns.

Cons: Two problems: the CRM is subpar and some integration connections are not ideal. In terms of CRM, there are a lot of preloaded fields as you could expect. The problem is that if there are fields you do not need or use for your business, you're stuck looking at them no matter what. You can create and add up to 100 new custom fields and define the type of field they are, but you cannot remove or even hide existing fields or tabs. Also, we used ScheduleOnce to connect to schedule leads who interacted with our site by filling out a form. Sometimes ScheduleOnce would update their system and cause problems with InfusionSoft and vice versa. Support from IS was quick to address and fix this when it was on their end though.

Recommendations to other buyers: InfusionSoft is definitely fit for eCommerce businesses as it has a lot of tools built around this. Unfortunately, we are not an eCommerce business so this was not applicable to us. In this case, we needed better CRM and sales pipeline capabilities based on a manual sales process involving phone sales. InfusionSoft is overpriced for how it fits our needs.

Pros: The campaign builder is awesome - it lets you quickly and easily create complex marketing automation logic and implement it all in an intuitive drag and drop interface. I've tried every automation software out there, and the Infusionsoft campaign builder is by far the easiest to use.

Cons: With it's 'All in One ' approach, Infusionsoft has some real weak points. Its shopping cart is by far my least favorite. It.. is terrible. Luckily, there are seamless integrations with things like Woocommerce, Shopify, Bigcommerce, and other folks who have done a good job of e-commerce, so you can utilize the marketing automation power AND have a good checkout experience.

Overall: Infusionsoft has helped me scale quite a few small businesses beyond the 1 million dollar mark. It is a lifesaver for small business.

Clunky and difficult software. (you've been warned)

Comments: I've been an Infusionsoft user for more than 5 years. I would have thought the IS dev team would have produced a better product by now. So many bugs and so frustrating. We have invest heavily and are now held ransom to an inferior product.

Pros: All the features you need in a CRM and then some but SOOOOOO difficult to drive. Emails (when you can get them out) look great

Cons: Unless you're a borderline coder or developer, you will not be able to drive Infusionsoft without professional help which gets very very expensive and kinda defeats the purpose. Lots of bugs and glitches. Can't put links into my emails without jumping thru hoops... YES I strip out all the formatting and only use Chrome but it continues to cause problems. I schedule emails for 10pm only to find they go out at 10am! ALL of our contacts have been hard one using lead funnels and other legitimate harvesting methods but Infusionsoft emails still rate very highly in spam filters.

Pros: Everything you want to build, this software allows you to. We needed to build a crm to manage what we couldn't find in the market place and infusionsoft gave us the ability to do just that (and we are not programers, we are realtor). We also needed a marketing funnel to help us procure leads and convert them through a very long life cycle. Infusionsoft gave us the ability to build what we wanted and make improvements as we saw fit.

Cons: In the beginning, learning how to use infusionsoft can be a challenge. We needed to hire a consultant to help us understand how to use the software. We wish Infusionsoft could have helped us more.

Overall: We were able to build our marketing funnel to work with a customized CRM. Something we couldnt find in the market place.

Pros: I now have a place that handles all of my customer data in one place! I can have my customers fill out information through my website and automatically their info will be sent into my CRM and an email will be sent welcoming them to my website. On top of all of that, I can now have them also purchase my product subscription through InfusionSoft. There is no need for me to keep track of all of my data across multiple platforms. It has saved me time and money. I'm still learning more and more features that speed up my business every day.

Cons: Trying to discover how to accomplish certain tasks is a little daunting in the beginning. There has been a slight lag time between executing tasks (for example setting up an order form in my eCommerce area), and then being able to actually have it show up properly on my back end. It was a little confusing for me at first. Now I just expect to have to wait a few minutes for things to work properly.

Overall: It centralized all of my data and allowed me to automatize many processes that I had to perform manually before.

Can run my business more efficiently and profitably.

Pros: About the company: Their customer service is excellent. I've used it many, many times. Maybe it's just me, but I always get questions like "Can it do this? How do I do that?" I pick up the phone and quickly get a live human being who can actually answer my questions. About the product: I like the ability to automate various parts of my business. I'm able to setup systems in InfusionSoft to do anything I do more than a few times for me. This is extremely helpful for webinars or live workshops. InfusionSoft allows me to duplicate our results and increase the effectiveness of our sales team while allowing us to cut our labor and admin costs. The email marketing and campaign builders are excellent and very intuitive. I've been using them for 6-7 years, and the software was not very user-friendly in the early days. I'm happy with how they have grown over the years and made things easier to use.

Cons: The reporting is adequate and could use some help. I understand they are working on this. The reporting for email marketing and ROI reports are excellent.

Recommendations to other buyers: I have clients that use all different kinds of software, so I get to see a lot of different systems. While no software is perfect, and all can be a little quirky at times, InfusionSoft, in my opinion, is better and easier than most. When evaluating software, figure out what you want to do. If all you want is to send a newsletter email and never do anything more, then it's probably overkill. If you want to grow your business and automate the annoying or mundane parts of your business, then I suggest getting a demo and taking your time making the purchase. The important thing is to start using it to do something. Then keep trying things, and you will form your own opinion.

Pros: Most powerful small business sales and marketing business automation system. Easy to use, yet very powerful system. We have more then one advanced integration with them. All work great.

Since Infusionsoft grew, and offers so much, we can now move out of Oractle | NetSuite. They are much easier to use system, and offers many, many features what big guys offer and charge 10 times the price.

We love infusionsoft and respect their company A LOT.

Cons: There is no native DEEP integration with QuickBooks Online Canada. E-commerce portion is weak, but shopping cart is great :)...automation after that is even better.

Overall: More then doubled the business. We can be a small team and it does the work of 5 people on the back end.

Comments: I would absolutely recommend InfusionSoft to anyone who is an experienced CRM user. If you're comfortable with most CRMs, InfusionSoft is a great sales and customer management tool. It is easy to manipulate and customize to your specific needs. However, if you are not an experienced CRM user, InfusionSoft can be incredibly complicated and very difficult to use.

Pros: - Very adaptable and intuitive - Friendly customer service - Can run extremely complex campaigns - Constantly improving services and capabilites

Cons: - Slow load times and Gateway errors during server backup on Mondays and Tuesdays - Specific customer concerns and known issues given low priority; no resolutions for 6+ months on some known issues - Crashes more often and has more issues/errors than more expensive CRMs

Pros: Infusionsoft's CRM system is build on three pillars: "E-Commerce", "Marketing", and "CRM". What I liked about the CRM system is the modern user interface and the many features the browser-based product offers. For example, Infusionsoft allows you to customize your navigation menu. You can easily drag&drop menu items/features from E-Commerce, Marketing, and CRM and build your own quick-access menu. That turned out to be very helpful during the review session. Infusionsoft offers more functionally than a regular CRM system which might explain the confusion with the three pillars. I particularly liked the "landing page builder". It allows you to build different landing pages and analysis the success of each on individually. While it is not as sophisticated as professional A/B testing services, it offers a sufficient range of functionality.

Cons: Infusionsoft requires an internet connection at all times, which might be an issue when traveling internationally or in areas with bad connection. The "all in one place" approach might be attractive for some people. I personally find the various pages too cluttered with information. I usually don't need all information all the time. A "business case" view would be helpful.

Recommendations to other buyers: I strongly recommend to develop a set of business cases before testing this (or really any) software, especially when you compare it to other systems. It makes it easier to quickly see differences and allows you to stay somewhat objective. When comparing platforms, I also suggest to assess whether mobile access to the CRM system is a crucial element or not. A "beautiful" app can sometimes be misleading.

Comments: First, let me say, that I'm used to Hubspot. So when a client hopped on board with Infusionsoft, I half expected the same ease of use and functionality. I was definitely disappointed. However, in the past year or so that I've been using the software, I've learned more about how best to use it. I would certainly not say it's intuitive. There's a learning curve, for sure. Emails are buggy and I've spent hours of back and forth with colleagues, just making sure font colors haven't been changed on us randomly, or even whole templates! The tagging feature is a big plus. It really lets you drill down and target a very specific audience. Support is awful. Sometimes you get someone who knows what they're talking about and sometimes you don't. We've created entire procedures around what one rep says, only to find out that we can't do what we thought we could (and thought we were doing). They really need a screenshare or at least a phone number. Waiting in line for chat is downright painful. The price is reasonable, but I'm not sure it's worth it for the pain and headache that Confusionsoft brings.

Pros: The tagging feature is wonderful! It really lets you target the right audience.

Cons: It's not intuitive. Takes far too long to learn how to work even basic features, like campaigns. Support is terrible. They are a last resort. A screenshare should be available, as well as a call-in support. Chat takes far too long.

Recommendations to other buyers: Consider IS only if you're really invested in the tagging process. Otherwise, there are so many other tools, Hatchbuck, Hubspot, etc. that will serve you much better and you won't need a technical manual to figure out the process.

Pros: Infusionsoft enables us to deliver EXTREMELY targeted and relevant follow up to our customers. No other software comes close in terms of segmentation possibilities and granularity.

Cons: It takes a while to wrap your head around how everything works so I'd say the learning curve is a minor weakness but it's much better than it used to be. The shopping cart is terrible compared to standalone solutions like BigCommerce, Shopify, etc but it's not completely useless if you only plan on using order forms with your products. Luckily, Infusionsoft's API is awesome so you can just bolt on external software for whatever function in Infusionsoft that you don't want to use.

Overall: Unmatched customer follow up capability.

Comments: Truly the future of marketing.

Pros: It really helps to streamline so many processes. We can reach so many more people in a shorter period of time just by tagging our customers as we go. We can add each customer to relevant categories and it allows us to reach just the customers we want without bugging customers who do not want that info. For example: Customers who can only use product A will get the product A e-mail. Customers who only use product B will not get the product A e-mail. Customers who use product A&B would get the product A e-mail.

Cons: It takes some dedicated time to learn it and patience but it's worth the time. It is also a bit pricey but it has proven to be the best that I can find.

Pros: - Great drip marketing campaigns

- Easily tracks leads in a sales process and gives great reports on progress

- Great email delivery for my clients

- Easy to use software with an online interface

- For medium to large organizations this software is a steal

Cons: - Can be a bit expensive for smaller companies

Overall: I have used Infusionsoft with several of my clients and overall they have enjoyed using it. One client was able to track sales leads from 13 different sources and send them scheduled marketing campaigns base on their needs. It worked great to allow the sales staff to filter to the best leads, while automatically contacting all of our prospects immediately, giving us time to respond to each of them with less staff. It is great software when used correctly.

Comments: This system integrates well with many other systems. You can be very creative with the types of processes you wan't to automate. This has very limited mobile options for building and managing campaigns.

Pros: I can create a series of automated business functions that allows me to hire a lot fewer people. On of my favorite campaigns helps deliver my message on the Internet and then brings clients to my website were they sign up for an appointment and then sends out a clinician to visit clients in their homes. I rarely miss an appointment or have a client reschedule.

Cons: You have to really get your head around what a campaign is and how you use tags to track client interactions. You also have to plan through entire client interactions because this can run a lot of people through your system and you have to plan where they are going so they don't hit road blocks.

Pros: Simple to learn and use. Navigation was ok, capable of making some good looking emails, email campaign system was pretty cool and easy to do with some limitations of what it could do. The people of InfusionSoft know how to help customize their software to whatever you want to follow, no matter how unconventional it is. They work hard at through free of cost assistance to leverage their program to the clients benefit. They have a large and deep community of users that help enrich the users' experience.

Comments: I've used Infusionsoft for over 3 years. Every month it saves me time. There is a learning curve to the system so persistence pays off. It took a little while to get my head around Infusionsoft's way of doing things. (e.g. where to edit master templates so that things appear as expected every time). The tagging feature is brilliant and allows me to communicate with subsets of my list. The campaign builder is a great way to map out automated campaigns. The trick is to keep them simple and label everything clearly so that you know what's going on where. The email templates are mobile responsive and easy to use. Regular system updates fix bugs and update features and functions - they do listen to what users want. What most users don't know about are two resources that you have to go looking for: - There is a free phone helpline number in addition to the online chat. Bear in mind that it is through to Phoenix Arizona so works on the office hours in their time zone. The online chat works fine out of hours. - It is worth looking out for the local User Groups which are free to attend (subsidized by Infusionsoft) and allow a chance to ask questions and meet other users.

Pros: Tagging allows maximum flexibility for list segmentation and tracking. Easy to build campaigns. Simple to send quick email messages to the whole or part of the list. Hosted landing pages and web forms within Infusionsoft.

Cons: Time is taken to learn the system initially. Some things are not intuitive so take a bit of working out.

Recommendations to other buyers: Join a user group and join the Facebook user groups if you can't get to one in person.

Pros: Very in depth, detailed, and makes the little things that would usually take forever to do take no time at all because they are now automated. The face to face meeting to train on the program is very helpful as well. It is a lot better than just talking on the phone or a virtual training program. Any time I have a question, I just call or send an email, and I always get a response super quick. If I call, 99% of the time the person I call picks up. Great customer service. Wonderful company. Would recommend to any company looking to automate the small things and increase sales. I got a crash course on the algorithms they use to increase sales, and let me just say, they are crazy good!

Cons: The only thing I can say negative is that the software does have a pretty good learning curve, but that's only because the program is so detailed and in depth. You can do dang near anything with Infusionsoft. With a program this detailed, I don't think anyone can expect to master it in just a few weeks, but I have absolutely no problem with that. The benefits faaaaar outweigh the only negative.

Overall: No more needing to call for follow ups, auto emails going to leads instead of having to go through the 1,300 some leads we have and trying to figure out which ones are more likely to buy. Now Infusionsoft does this for us, and we only have to call then when they get hot.

Pros: It's an all in one, appropriate for many kinds of businesses. It will never solve crappy strategy, sales or marketing practices or lame content.

Cons: Like anything that is "all in one," any single element is exposed to weakness in function such CRM, email, analytics, reporting, user-friendliness, support, real cost to implement, etc. Put Salesforce CRM to Infusionsoft CRM, by itself, there is no comparison. Suffice it to say however, that Infusionsoft CRM will get the job done for most customers. Unless they need heavy analytics or 500 seats, or killer reporting. You won't get that from Infusionsoft. You do get all in one.

Recommendations to other buyers: Work with someone who knows what they are talking about. Pay a trusted adviser to guide you on suitability of the solution. Make sure they are objective, not trying to sell you their solution. If you are sitting in a seminar and get excited enough by the newest, shiny object being pitched from the stage, and you wonder why your team is just shaking in their boots when you come back to the office so excited to tell them they have to learn another stupid software thing. (The software is not stupid. The humans who buy software on a knee-jerk reaction in a seminar, are acting stupid).

Pros: Once you get the basics down you can go and Create, Add on, or Enhance Campaigns you already have. For instance if you have an Enhancement to a Service or Product you promote all you have to do is Add that enhancement to your already running campaign and it goes out to all your contacts that are in that specific campaign. No countless hours writing and launching individual e-mails. Just add and re-publish and its done.

Cons: The system can seem daunting at first and I think some may give up on it to soon. I also think the corporate training videos are a little outdated and not reflective of the new versions campaign building, e-mail marketing etc.

Overall: They provide some great landing page templates so all you have to do is pick one and make it unique to you or you can build from scratch. Once you learn the tools you can knock out and launch a landing page in less than an hour. Also the templates for the e-mail campaigns are awesome as well and easy to use. It saves me hours a day in my marketing promotions.

Comments: When my B2B employer needed an all-in-one CRM + marketing automation platform, I was responsible for researching and directing the selection process. I have years of experience using a variety of marketing automation and CRM systems so I knew what to look for and the right questions to ask.

It has been invaluable to our B2B organization and allows our sales team to handle a much greater workload since we have now been able to implement automation to handle many repetitive tasks that the team would previously handle manually.

Some points marketers may want to keep in mind:

- If you haven't tried solutions like MailChimp, Hatchbuck, Aweber, etc, then start there. It seems like many small businesses just need 1 - 5 automated campaigns / autoresponders and this system is likely overkill. Once you've outgrown those systems, have a sales team, and have hundreds of leads coming in each week / month then this may be a better fit.

- Consider your proficiency level when it comes to learning new software. Have you tried signing up for a free free CRM trials like Zoho or Nutshell recently? Can you set them up and configure them in an hour or so without needing support? If you find yourself struggling with this, then Infusionsoft will definitely pose a learning curve for you.

Some weak points that other marketers may find:

1 - the CRM is weak in comparison to other options on the market. It's not quite as customizable in terms of how the contact record is displayed.

2 - the email builder tool does not yet allow users to create responsive forms. This is a major flaw in 2015. A new tool is supposed to be coming soon, but that's been reported for a while.

Overall, I would recommend this software - but only to companies who have taken the time to really figure out what their needs are and understand exactly how their existing businesses processes could benefit from automation.

Comments: Ultimately the cost of time and money for something like Infusionsoft has to be justified by the ROI. With Infusionsoft, we have seen amazing results, far better than with other CRM's.

Pros: I have seen amazing results which is why we invest in software like Infusionsoft. I love how it does more than just sends out emails. I love creating and seeing this machine work even when I am not working. I also love how I can get it to do what I want. There are some many different services that I now have hooked into our Infusionsoft that even I am amazed.

Cons: It is still a difficult learning curve. I struggled for many months and finally hired Sixth Division to help. This is where we really began to understand Infusionsoft and see results. It is hard to swallow that I have to have help to use software.

Pros: Unrivaled ability to customize EVERYTHING related to your e-mail campaign, funnels, and e-mail list recipients. You can split up your list into any number of segments, and create unlimited funnels, A/B tests, campaigns, and whatnot.

Cons: This unmatched flexibility is tempered by a very steep learning curve. It will take quite a bit of research, combined with trial and error, to set up your existing list on their software (a service they also offer at a price, or for free on the more expensive plans). Be sure to test everything once you go through and setup/import all of your campaigns, as you don't want to accidentally send e-mails to wrong segments of your list, or send to users that you have removed from certain segments (something that I have done before), which could open you up to spam flagging. Too many spam flags, and Infusionsoft will ban your account, so be careful!

Also, it is very expensive -- more than almost all of the competition.

Pros: I like that this software is somewhat organized and easy to collaborate with others on your team while using.

Cons: Lack of reports available. There are some very OBVIOUS things within IS that you should be able to pull a report on with re-creating the wheel. They need to create more standardized reports that anyone would commonly use. Any of the fields that they track on your clients should be easily trackable in a report instead of creating something from scratch. Need to remember your users are just that - USERS - not programmers!

Overall: It's what my client chose, so I would have chosen something else. Little benefit.

Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for the feedback. Our product developers are working hard to improve ease-of-use in our product and you should see some great enhancements throughout the rest of the year.

That said, in terms of reporting, I highly recommend you give our support team a call because they can give you a hand with achieving the reports you need.

Thanks again for your feedback!

Pros: Infusionsoft allows you to create automated workflows that are very advanced. Once your campaign is created, you have a very powerful tool, but it is not static. Infusionsoft allows your process to be organic and updated on the fly.

Cons: This is a powerful platform but it can be a bit complicated to learn. Also, there needs to be a lot of thought and effort into planning prior to launching a campaign. There are times where you probably need to engage outside resources/professionals to fully maximize the value of the software.

Overall: As a small business, it makes us more efficient by automating our processes.

Comments: Of the many platforms we use in our business, Infusionsoft is my tool of choice. It has so much to offer, I have almost all of my reporting in this app and recommend business I work with use this as well. Great app and I am loving it more the more I learn! thanks IS team, for making a great app!

Pros: Infusionsoft has all the features and functions to make it do anything you want. I worked with an Infusionsoft rep to customize our app and there was not one thing that they couldn't build for us! Reporting is as good as your people and processes, but it works well once you know what you want. The steps and time you save by using automation is great. The level of sophistication you can put into this automation is awesome!

Cons: Contacts are contacts and Opportunities are Opportunities - there are things you can't see in one report versus another depending on this. Also, I would love to see a robust email platform. My team uses email a lot. A solution within the app would be so much better than looking around for something stand alone.

Pros: I like that you can do so much with the software. Campaigns, if someone clears at task then it will schedule another task for that person or another person on the them.

Cons: It is hard to customize fields. If you want to move tasks from one day to next you have to move each task individually. Also you can only sort by PastDue, Today and Future. If you want to see task, let's say next Tuesday, they are grouped with Future, you can't just see that day. Another thing it does not work with Gmail, there are programs, extensions from other companies, however they do not work consistently.

Pros: Crazy powerful when you know what you're doing. The API and webhooks allow the software to literally morph into anything you need it to be for you with a little development work.

Cons: Hard for newbies and people that are not technical. Reporting is awful. Why cant we create reports with any field we choose? Should be much simpler - Ive used it for 2 years and have a masters in computer science and I have to write my own reports using the API - if its possible to generate better reports in the interface, I have no idea how which means its WAY WAY too hard to do.

Pros: It is unlimited... you can create programs, sell the program, once the sale is completed have the support run automatically, email followup automatically flow and create a customer experience process that support your client as well as follow-up sale of your program. There are many times that you need to touch the client 6-8 times prior to a sell. The right content can be created to create that opportunity!

Cons: I believe that you need a business person on the development team. There are basic business needs that do not get captured in development.

Pros: The customer support is very good, with quick answers, on-the-phone assistance, chats, and even Facebook groups. But, the functions are outstanding ... I can do almost anything I can imagine from end-to-end in my law practice.

Cons: I'd like to be able to place merge fields from the campaign (such as event name or date) into the landing pages. But, that is a minor annoyance in an outstanding product.

Overall: Since adding Infusiosnoft my business has doubled and my time at the office dropped by a full day a week. I could do even more, but, why? Life isn't just about the money but also about control of my time and life.

Pros: There was nothing that I liked about this software. It sounded very promising when the salesman was describing it, but it never did what he said it would do.

Cons: I would not advise anyone to risk their money subscribing to this software. When I was considering the purchase, the salesman assured me repeatedly that the software would work for my particular needs. I was quite clear from the beginning about what I needed from the set-up process, but at the end of two months, the software was still not set up as I had requested. Infusionsoft said my set up was way over budget, and I would have to pay additional fees if I wanted more help from them, which I paid. When that was used up, the set up was still not working as I had described from the beginning. They asked for additional fees, and at that point, I decided to pull the plug on it. I never actually used the software. Part of the problem is that the Infusionsoft software is not at all intuitive or user-friendly. Nothing is where you would look for it. This made me particularly dependent on them. Don't think you can be a casual user of Infusionsoft. Either you invest 100 hours learning this complex and counterintuitive system, or you'??ll be dependent on them as I was. I spent quite a bit of time in their learning center, too, but never came close to learning what I would have needed to free myself from them.

Recommendations to other buyers: I would advise others to be very cautious in believing what the salesman promises. And I would not advise anyone to purchase this software.

Infusionsoft is a super product.

Pros: Infusionsoft can do EVERYTHING - it can be coded any way you want it to be. It has so many time saving features if you know how to set them up. It honestly makes life so much easier.

Cons: The interface is not as intuitive. It takes time in the software to learn it. Generally you have to hire an expert to set it up for you. After that, it just runs on its own.

Overall: Infusionsoft is our sales pipeline. I love the tracking of our opportunities with the access to forecast our high and low potential month by month. It's also wonderful to understand where the weakest points are for conversion. It helps fix links in the funnel easily.

Pros: The system does making the billing and payment process when in a contact account easy to process.

Cons: Pulling stats and data from the system is very difficult and cumbersome. The system likes to process auto payments sometimes for no reason, months after the invoice has been unpaid for a customer. Most of the time when you contact their support you are dealing with someone who doesn't understand what your issues is and it takes a long time to get them to understand. Then when you do find an issue/bug within their system it takes so long for it to become resolved.

Pros: I like the most how easy it is to search up customers and clients and view their information. I think its features and reliability are close in comparison to some of the other competitors in the industry. I also like the layout, font, and the colors. Each of these provide ease on the eyes for the user.

Cons: I like the least the fact that there are some features that I feel could be improved on. We interview candidates and put their interview notes on their account. Perhaps we were approaching it wrong, but finding that person's interview notes required loading up the candidate, selecting the tab, and scrolling through. Some customization to instantly view those notes (or have that as the first screen that pops up with a client) could really help the users be more efficient.

Overall: The benefits I received were that I could easily keep track of candidates within our database. I would phone interview a candidate for 15 minutes and keep track of their interview notes as well as other relevant information, like what city they're located in, on Infusionsoft. I benefited from the ability to quickly search someone's name and bring up all relevant information to help manage talent within our company.

Comments: I recommend watching their instructional videos or even hiring an Infusionsoft coach (I did and found it well worth the expense) to get you through the initial learning curve. If you're willing to put in some time up front to learn how to navigate the system, as well as learn the many possible uses for Infusionsoft, it will not only simplfy your business systems, but it will grow your client base and sales volume.

Pros: Excellent technical support. The person at the other end of the phone goes the extra mile. If he or she doesn't know the answer to my question, they locate someone who does. We resolve the question right then and there.

Pros: This piece of software is extremely versatile. The amount of work that you can automate turned my business into a success. Without having this when I first started as a solo-preneur I would still be labouring away to get to where I am. Cons: This software is super versatile however in having all of these amazing things you can do there is a steep learning curve in order to perfect it. Luckily, Infusionsoft provides training for how to use the software. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time learning to get up to speed.

Pros: I love that Infusionsoft puts so many things into one product: CRM, eCommerce, billing, marketing automation, etc. I LOVE building an automated machine and then just letting it do its thing. Currently we have five marketing channels running, and they all feed leads into Infusionsoft with lead source tracking, sales rep assignment, and automated follow up. It's awesome.

Cons: New features are sometimes rolled out too soon, a bit buggy, and even after being improved, they're often not perfected.

Overall: Save time, follow up with all leads, stay organized.

Pros: Very powerful - it can handle a lot. Everything you need to set up campaigns, manage customer info, make sales etc.

Cons: It is almost impossible to deal with. It's complex, there are still glitches with text formatting in the email set up, the API is one of the worst I have ever connected to. It's just hard to use and it's hard to find people who understand it. Also, the customer service team is often unequipped to handle most questions about actually using the product.

Overall: It can do a lot but it may not be worth the effort. I often wish we never started using it.

Comments: I like their culture, and I've learned a lot from a marketing perspective, just from watching how they market to me. I'm excited to use the automation tools that drive their engine because there is tremendous upside there. But it hasn't been easy, and it's not as smooth as it should be. The automation has to really do amazing things, or this is going to be a very long year waiting for the contract to finish.

Pros: I like the SaaS approach to CRM, without the Salesforce pricing. Their implementation was a great help on building the campaigns initially.

Cons: First, they outsource their implementation to other marketing agencies, who act as partners. I didn't care for that. Then, implementation really only focused on the campaigns. We ended up doing everything else in house (contact imports, integrations with other software, process definitions, etc). We kept running into limitations with the software. We are a small B2B company, 33 employees, 1000 customers (companies), 10,000 contacts, and that's just active customers, not leads/prospects. Their system is very contact centric, rather than business centric. We have a relationship with contacts at a business, but if the contact retires or quits, our relationship with the business doesn't stop. They had a hard time understanding and supporting that we sell licenses to businesses, not to individuals. Often when we talk to tech support, it's "That's just the way it is". The integrations have been difficult to work around, because of this focus, not to mention their implementation was pretty useless in helping us design our own plugins. I'm already beginning to doubt my decision not to just go with Salesforce.

Comments: Keep up the good work.

Pros: I have to say I like the support the most, not that I don't love the product but I think the support is what makes my experience so great. Whenever I have a question or anybody from my staff has a question your support line is there to help and sometimes I get lucky enough where someone pops in some gifs and memes and makes the experience even more enjoyable. I also love the hooks into third-party apps.

Cons: I would say getting information out of the system. It's very difficult to get the information I need/want out and we get told a lot "submit a request to IT". Being a software company ourselves, I hate giving people that answer. I am a solution provider.

It is very user friendly. Also, campaign is very useful in our business organizational flow.

Cons: Having limited number of fields which is 100 fields only. Since we already reached the max, I had to research and find some other ways on how we can add some more fields which lead us to using Fieldspace, which is an additional operation cost for us.

Comments: Recommended if you are looking for a higher performance and visibility in your organization.

Pros: - Infusionsoft keeps a complete trail of every purchase made, action taken for leads on a single platform. - You can easily send automated marketing emails to prospect, send followup trails. - Along with an effective product, Infusionsoft is backed up with a very strong customer support which is a key aspect if you are planning to buy a productive tool, they provide every mode of support i.e, through telephonic, chat, emails. - Now to check if my organization is making a health progress over the time, we rely on detailed sales and marketing support, the reports are very definite.

Cons: Yes, Infusionsoft falls on the expensive side, which is a challenge when we initially opt for it, but when it comes upto the ROI, it worth every penny.

Pros: This application provides an ultimate platform for e-mail marketing and sales for small businesses. It offers many other interesting functions as well as features. Some of them are here!! It offers one of the best CRM as well as it provides an automation of marketing. Its reporting is also superb along with Drip Marketing and Landing Pages which are also just great. Its navigation and layout are also pretty nice. It provides good customer service. It helps us to tracks our communications along with adding appropriate notes in each and every prospect. It also provides the ability of Email marketing automation as well as, it has a good salesperson.

Cons: This application API is very poor which makes it difficult to operate. Mapping for drip marketing is not so good. Its custom reporting is also bad. One of the main problems with it is that one has to grow through a big learning curve otherwise it will be a problem for him to operate it effectively. There are a lot of glitches in the system. Some users said that they really need a better customer service team. Its database deduping is also not automatic. Its dashboard is not working well and in addition, it has a problem to get over- complicated!!

Comments: This software is one of the easiest to implement and use. The phone support is great. Every representative I spoke to was knowledgeable and eager to assist with my issue. I don't feel like I am "nickel and dimed" for every discovered need and solution. The reporting is excellent as well!

Pros: Under-resourced teams, time and money are all too common in today's marketplace. This software allows for integrated online marketing, using ONE system. We use it for campaign reporting, to measure what is working and what is not working by source/channel, and deploy email campaigns. Measuring campaign interactions and sharing an activity with sales through text SMS, Outlook 2016 and Survey Monkey enables the sales team to act fast and have better more informed sales conversations.

Cons: I wish more integrations were out of the box, and not just custom APIs.

Recommendations to other buyers: You will get a positive ROI for the money!1 Be sure to measure your baseline goals, and work closely with sales team to define goals are with a CRM. This is a very powerful tool, most companies are stuck only using it for a very expensive email campaign sender. Launch this software with an agile approach. Add on the advanced as you go and communicate these phases and success as you go. You will want to communicate your progress to justify budgetary needs and management support.

Comments: Overall, the platform may be good for larger teams who are deeply familiar with the functionality and using it on a regular basis. However, if you're a small business looking to grow, find another platform that's more intuitive, friendly and saves the settings that you'll use repeatedly. Fast-moving marketers will find it challenging to complete standard tasks efficiently within the platform.

Pros: Infusionsoft is known to be one of the best platforms for mid-size businesses, with tons of functionality, built-in eCommerce options and lots of bonuses and extras.

Cons: Unfortunately, Infusionsoft has an old-school interface that can be challenging to navigate. I'm currently utilizing the platform for two separate consulting clients, and I'm constantly having to go back to (very limited and out-of-date) training videos to recall how to perform simple actions, such as setting up a campaign. Options that are saved and automatic and only a few clicks in a platform such as MailChimp are involved and require multiple steps within Infusionsoft.

Pros: The campaign builder is great once you figure it out. If you can harness the power of the campaign builder, you will be able to segment your list more effectively than with any other service I've seen out there. I especially like the decision diamonds where I can split people into different sections and dramatically increase the relevance factor on any emails that I send.

Cons: I feel like I'm paying for a landline/internet/TV/wireless bundle from the cable company. There are various things that I don't need but I keep paying the monthly fee because the campaign builder is a game changer. I wish they would offer some of this stuff a la carte.

Cons: The only...and I say ONLY drawback to INFUSIONSOFT is the learning curve required it takes for set up and continual implementation. There is just SOOOO much you can do ... that it does take time to wrap yourself around all of its functionality.

Overall: It helped me build my business from the ground up!

Been using Infusionsoft for over six years. Great CRM, Automation and eCommerce. Support great.

Pros: It can do it all reasonably. It has saved me from having to hire more administration assistants. Integrated shopping cart and checkout. They even have their own merchant account.

Cons: Takes a while to learn, although once you get into it, it all makes sense. You will need to pay for upfront training - but well worth it.

Overall: The automation sends out nurturing emails as often as you like. Integration between eCommerce, marketing and CRM. Many lead forms and lots of storage. New upgrades and add-on developed all the time. It has a great Market Place with many experts and apps.

Fantastic piece of software

Pros: Infusionsoft allows me to quickly respond to customer inquiries in a meaningful way. The information that is available at my fingertips for each contact is quite extensive and the tagging feature allows my company to track as much or as little of our user activity as we like.

Cons: The affiliate and shopping cart features aren't great. I also wish that the product purchase actions were in the same section as product creation as it's a little annoying to go back and forth.

Overall: Amazing organization of customers information.

If you are a SME, infusionsoft is not for you.

Comments: PRO: They hired good sales person, and have a whopping $500 referral fees.

CON: They mislead and false promise when they trying to hook you onto their system. They drag on and don't let you cancel.

The Sales person mislead me into the product when I sign on. And they incorrectly billed my credit card even after I've cancelled with them.

Infusionsoft charged me $2000+$299 for first month of service fee, Evan Samurin (the Sales) says if it is not for me, they will do something to credit the upfront $2000 back to me. After I used it for a month I emailed Evan saying infusionsoft is not for me, he says that he will forward the message to customer service. I haven't heard from infusionsoft again, I have followed up with Evan with no reply.

My credit card is billed month after month, which forced me to call my credit card to cancel the card. Then someone from Infusionsoft customer service, Blake Ghormley emailed me saying I have unpaid balance. I asked Blake to communicate with Evan and credit me back for the months that I didn't use. Blake Ghormley disappeared again.

The problem of this product is, Infusionsoft pays $500 referral fee to the person introduce to them. So a lot of contractors will say that infusionsoft is good. But those contractor may only know how to use 5% of the product, which is similar to other lower cost competitors which pays less referral fees. And when you want to cancel, my experience is they will skip your emails.

I personally would not recommend any company to use their service.

- Most companies would not need such a BIG solution. If you are big enough you will go to SAP.

- Their $500 referral fee, and false sales promises is not someone would look for.

- Don't worry about cancelling with them, they skip these emails.
