### "Infusionsoft - A great CRM"

Moving from Dynamics to Infusionsoft was a great move on behalf of our company. We are a small company and the Dynamics CRM was just to "heavy" for our use. From our initial calls, to the setup to our daily use, we are very pleased with Infusionsoft and it's substantially less expensive than Dynamics.

Pros

We love Infusionsoft because it is user friendly, intuitive and we have been able to combine our marketing campaigns into the software.

Cons

I can't really say anything negative about Infusionsoft.

### "DIFFICULT TO GET GOING AND WORK EFFECTIVELY"

Horrible. Sick and tired of paying money for something no one can make function and do what I need. I am stuck. Wish they would resolve this as I have wasted hours and hours and too much money for a very basic usage. Only using 2 Landing pages and 4 campaigns...nothing too difficult. Not even selling products on it yet, because I need tag system and emails getting out. Why it goes into spam or LP don't function is beyond me. Thanks KEAP for costing me so much revenue loss.

I was sold that it was as simple as click and drag. So not!! I used Aweber for $19 a month and it worked perfectly with minimal emails going into spam. I have spent over $14000 on virtual assistants and still not functioning at 50%. I get higher fees as my contacts grow yet 30% of my important emails go into spam. I have had my email/gmail/google/websites/DNS and all programmed. Still going into spam. Landing pages rarely work and I have had multiple events and lost hundreds of leads during the KEAP take over of Infusionsoft. Now I have too much money invested to make a switch. Horrible old fashion software or something is wrong with KEAP.

There is a learning curve, but you will learn to love what it can do for you and your business.

Pros

The capabilities of this software are amazing. Once you have an understanding of how it works, then it can do amazing things for your business. The 'behavioural' marketing aspect, allowing you to send customers on a 'journey' based on their engagement, can transform a business.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve, but if you think about it as a tool to map a journey, it is easier. There are also a lot of professionals who can help, but they come at various costs. The reporting in the software could also be a little better, but you have enough to track what you need and make the right business decisions.

Reason for choosing Keap

I believe that for the SME market, there isn't a better overall sales and marketing platform available.

Pros

It is unlimited... you can create programs, sell the program, once the sale is completed have the support run automatically, email followup automatically flow and create a customer experience process that support your client as well as follow-up sale of your program. There are many times that you need to touch the client 6-8 times prior to a sell. The right content can be created to create that opportunity!

Cons

I believe that you need a business person on the development team. There are basic business needs that do not get captured in development.

I've used Infusionsoft twice to accomplish marketing automation that Hubspot didn't handle well.

Pros

Infusionsoft is a great tool for small businesses that need to kick it up a notch with their marketing automation. It offers an easy to use visual workflow builder and although the learning curve is a bit steep, once users get the principles, the customization is a great trade off.

Cons

Infusionsoft does have its quirks and the learning curve can be steep for those who are not technical or logical. Recommend working with a partner to get past this challenge.

Pros

From a marketing background, I love the integration and ability to set up automated campaigns with ease, linking our websites into campaigns so when a customer clicks of a link a full customer service message and follow-ups get sent out. This is a huge help as the sales team is swamped so enables them to quantify new customers quickly. From a sales perspective the ability to have all of the client's details in one place and information about quotes, orders, emails received and opened is perfect and the sales team love the ease of use.

Cons

It can be a little fiddly to set up campaigns but once set up they run with no issues. A basic knowledge of what the end goal is and where the client will start makes it a lot easier.

### "Follow up is always key"

After a stringent review of the various CRM packages out there I came across infusion soft which uses a canvas to help you create various initiatives to keep in contact with clients. ON the surface it looked good and for a business with a simple business model it looked good. Having spoken to the representative about the needs of my business. I was promised that it would help me connect stakeholders to customers. After investing in the software and training I found that the canvas is just a way of doing simple tools and tasks and that anything a little bit complicated is out of the realms of possibility. If you are looking for a CRM that is just about connecting sales to your business it is probably ok, but make sure that you get the most out of the training. They tend to talk you through a few items then send you to their videos. What they don't do is follow up. In fact, they won't even talk to you. InfusionSoft promises an online chat facility which is never staffed, well not for anyone overseas, and the people that can help you charge like a wounded bull to resolve your issues. InfusionSoft makes a lot of promises. For my business... the outright lied and then won't even call me back to discuss resolution!

Pros

It's a good sales connector and can provide an easy format to automate various proactive sales elements (spiffs and special campaigns)

Cons

The follow-up is lacking and working with the client becomes very expensive very quickly for anything out of the norm.. (and the norm is a very narrow band of sales activity - any marketing with kickbacks becomes a bit too difficult for their system so it's a bit of a waste if you are looking for something to help challenge the status quo).

Pros

The platform is great but the support is AMAZING! I love how this company have support people with a personality, when you talk to their support team you are talking to a real person with a personality! Not only do they answer your questions but they make even the most difficult issues easy to troubleshoot. This platform is great for organizing contacts, tags, forms, products and much more

Cons

There are outages and tech issues which can affect campaigns, tagging and contacts but in a world where tech can go wrong I take it with a pinch of salt.

Infusionsoft runs all of our billing, task management, email marketing, leads management and referral partner program. We would need at least one full time employee to do what it does for us.

Cons

My only complaint is that I wish it was more mobile friendly, especially some of the webforms and order forms.

### "Should be called Confusion Soft"

It can do a lot but it may not be worth the effort. I often wish we never started using it.

Pros

Very powerful - it can handle a lot. Everything you need to set up campaigns, manage customer info, make sales etc.

Cons

It is almost impossible to deal with. It's complex, there are still glitches with text formatting in the email set up, the API is one of the worst I have ever connected to. It's just hard to use and it's hard to find people who understand it. Also, the customer service team is often unequipped to handle most questions about actually using the product.

### "Too much for my small business"

I used Keap for about 2 years and then decided to look for a less challenging system that could meet my needs. I found something that did. The new option actually cut my costs move than 50%.Keap may be a great tool but for a solopreneur, it was like going to a 4 star Michelin restaurant when all I needed was a quick snack of fries.

Pros

When I signed up for Keap, I was told that this would cover all my needs. It was a one stop shop to help with managing my clients, sending emails, and growing my business.

Cons

The software was very confusing from the outset. I'm not sure that the people involved in my onboarding understood my needs clearly. I never really used most of the features because I got frustrated learning how to use it.

Pros

Infusionsoft has an incredible user community and partner ecosystem. If Infusionsoft isn't doing what you wanted/expected, there's a person or a plugin that can make it happen. Be sure to join the "unofficial" user group on Facebook. It's a great resource.

Cons

It's impossible to build a highly customizable and robust piece of software and also make it stupid simple to use. Learning Infusionsoft takes time. Even the experts don't know it all.

### "This is a business game changer"

Switching to Infusionsoft and investing in training through the Infusionsoft University has taken us from a local company to an international company with consistent sales year round. I would be willing to say Infusionsoft is the number one reason for our growth.

Pros

Using Infusionsoft has allowed us to consistently double our revenue every year. The ability to close deals increases 10 fold when you can automate many of the processes. Before we started using Infusionsoft there was never enough time in the day to get things done. Now we can follow up on every lead and close the deals that were slipping through our fingers without it. With just two of us in the office, it allows us to reach out with over 30,000 emails per month to prospective customers to deliver the information they need to convert to a buyer. We could not possibly do this manually. The cost of hiring staff to do the same work would be 10 times more expensive.

Cons

There is a pretty steep learning curve and it is more costly than others but if you can invest the time to really learn the software and implement as many features as possible, it more than pays for itself in the long run.

It does get the job done and we understand it has many features. It's just not simple, user friendly or even intuitive to how this system works. It takes a lot of work, a lot of chats with customer service and sometimes you still walk away not knowing what you did to make it work. The pricing is quite high and we are not a fan of the new pricing structure.

Pros

The software has some amazing features if you take the time to learn it. The eblasts look great. The reporting features are nice as well as the ability to tag your contacts.

Cons

It is very difficult to learn. There are so many different rules and situations. There have been quite a few times we have done a huge campaign to only realize it never went out when scheduled because one little thing wasn't connected. And there are quite a few things to connect. The system never notified us it wasn't set up properly and just didn't send. They just changed the prices and it's now more expensive than it used to be for the same features. It takes many hours to set up a campaign and is quite time consuming. It is very pricey. I understand it's a system with many features but it's so complex to learn all of those features and you don't utilize them all. We can only have one user login since it costs too much to add an additional person for our small business

Infusionsoft allows anyone to jump in and setup their first funnels. It's fast, easy to use, visually appealing, and flexible. You can use it for ANYTHING - webinars, sales funnels, lead magnets, sales teams, anything. Super super flexible.

Cons

It seems like Infusionsoft is leaning in on their small business solution idea. Once you reach a certain number of emails in a month the price starts to climb quickly and at a certain point you get flagged as high volume. You then have your price increased again.

If you're working out of spreadsheets or locally stored CRM or a mix of marketing systems (including billing), STOP! Put this powerful CRM to work for you. I PROMISE this is the number 1 biggest right move we made when we formed our company, and you can't go wrong.

Pros

Complex enough to deal with the complex marketing challenges that business owners face, but simple enough that you can train your staff to utilize it in a couple days. Their tagging, and custom fields allow for extreme segmentation of your database. Their API allows for extremely custom solutions that their standard software may not address. Customer support is excellent and the management of the company is very interested in what the customer needs and is looking for. Biggest plus of Infusionsoft is their origin story. The software was initially developed to meet the demands of direct response marketers. From that starting point they have enhanced the service to meet or exceed industry standards for CRMs. Quite frankly, we wouldn't be in business if it were not for the automation we were able to achieve using InfusionSoft. I'd recommend this software to ANY BUSINESS PERSON who is serious about marketing and automation.

Cons

It's complex software. It isn't a basic auto responder, there are a lot of parts. To be frank, after using the software for years I still don't know how to use 60% of what I know it can do. While support is great, there could be more educational opportunities to during the course of the year to learn specific sections of the software's capabilities. There's a significant investment up front for the software that may cause some to hesitate (it's worth it, but still, that could be a con for some) You get penalized for people not knowing that marking you as spam is a big deal for the sender. So even if the recipient requested you email them, if they mark you as spam, you can get get into trouble with InfusionSoft. (I think this may be the case with any email sender though.)

Pros

Assuming you get set up well, easy to use, fast, efficient, very innovative, powerful, can be a game changer for your business if you are growing and need to pimp out your systems so they work for you rather than you working for it.

Cons

Not easy to use if your not a techy (which I'm not), so its crucial you get set up properly by the right Infusionsoft Partner.

### "Good for certain applications... Read more"

InfusionSoft is great if you run an eCommerce site and want to build automation around the sales and marketing processes. If your business is anything other than eCommerce, I would suggest researching other options because the price you pay for InfusionSoft is much higher than competitors that could likely meet your business needs.

Pros

The best part about InfusionSoft is their campaign builder. The process is very visual and like putting together a logic puzzle. This makes it very easy for someone non-technical to be able to create a campaign. Think of all your processes and come up with a naming convention otherwise InfusionSoft will become chaos without your own structured naming convention.

Cons

Learning. I learned the basics through a third-party team that teaches InfusionSoft with their instructional videos. I then went on to watch many videos and read many articles from InfusionSoft's website. Bottom line, this helped me create a basis to build from. However, a few months of living inside the software later led me to revamp everything I had created because I discovered ways to make everything 100x more organized and more efficient. You will likely need a lot of support or expect to redo a lot of work after getting comfortable with the software.

Overall, it was great. We switched because we needed a system that was more than just an email marketing software.

Pros

Infusionsoft is commonly referred to as "Confusionsoft" by a lot of people in the industry, simple because there's a steep learning curve during initial adoption of the software. It operates a bit differently than other CRM and email marketing software out there. However, the email marketing automation features are absolutely top-notch. The software is built to do just about anything you need with email marketing and has great deliverability.

Cons

Just the learning curve. It takes a while to get used to the software and it seems like there's always a better way to be doing things.
