Timesolv solves for all of that in a web-based, easily migrated and intuitive system. A beautiful tether-cutting solution and presents far better dashboard information from the first page. We have been on Time slips for many years, and once we moved on to Time Solve.. its as easy as 1 2 3! Cons Some names were switched from first name to last and vice versa... but no complaints Reason for choosing TimeSolv Legal Billing This was the best choice after a representative came to our office to show introduce us to Time Solve software. Used the software for: ### "We strongly recommend TimeSolv as a cost effective and outstanding time billing tool" December 24, 2015 5.0 Our firm, The Brenner Group, started using TimeSolv in 2001. It is utilized to manage our unique timekeeping and expense reporting needs for our employees, who provide billable services to many clients simultaneously, with potentially different hourly or fixed rates for different assignments. On top of this, they are not in the office frequently. Initially, we simply asked employees to record their time, and then we exported it to MS Access and QuickBooks in order to do invoicing. As the product has evolved, we now do time reporting, invoicing and collections directly in TimeSolv, as well as managing our employees reimbursable expenses. The system has always been reliable, and easy to use. Our employees feel like they can keep track of their time and billing, and will soon be able to also track their individual accounts receivable. The system has grown and become more user friendly with each revision. We strongly recommend TimeSolv as a cost effective and outstanding tool to manage client timekeeping requirements. Well Done! We haven't had a chance to dig into all of the reporting features yet, but he software is much more sophisticated than its ease of use might suggest. One of the great things about this product is the people behind it. Customer service is easy to contact and the people on the other end are friendly, know the product inside and out, and fast. Cons For our particular practice it would be nice to have multiple subs with multiple matters listed under one parent company, but it's easy enough for us to setup the way they have it structured. Pros I appreciate the ease and flexibility of the software. There are many more options and features than what I use, but the software does not bog you down with all these complexities to deal with a simpler requirements. Cons I have an (apparently) unique requirement for retainer billing, which is managed through a creative use of the software set up by TimeSolv support. Unfortunately, I end up calling in each month for assistance to get my billing out because I the steps to achieve this requirement are not intuitive to me. Review Source SR Sharon R. Pros Ease of use and the linking feature when it was functional. Cons Very little functionality. Need to be able to select "All" professionals to print individual reports for time entries. Because the Net Docs issue extends beyond TimeSolv, we are not fully in control of the date it will be fixed. It is a priority to us and we hope to have it resolved soon. As to reporting, all of TimeSolv's reports can be downloaded into 10 formats. When reports are output as CSV format, they can be pulled into Excel for filtering, sorting, and reporting. It is very complete and does a great job in keeping my time. Cons It is a bit cumbersome to use. Lots of different screens and ways to bill and see the final product. November 6, 2015 4.0 Pros: Timesolv is very easy to understand and use, generally new users do not need a walkthrough to start using the system as it is so intuitive. It is the best billing software out there, it can accommodate variety of variations in billing. There is a wide variety of reports available and if you are an intermediate user of excel, you can get any report you need in matter of few clicks. I have used this software as an administrator of the system for over 15 years in two different companies. Every time I shopped for a replacement, I always ended up making the decision to continue with it! Excellent customer service - overall great bargain for your buck! Pros I can keep track of what is happening on my cases in the "notes" file for each case, and I have an easy to use and update list of all of my clients and all of their multiple cases. Cons It is a little bulky to maneuver from page to page, and there are not enough spaces in the contacts section for telephone numbers. You have to click through several pages to get from area to another. An additional field for a home phone number would be a help. The support service team is wonderful; almost always available to answer your questions at a moments notice; and I like the fact that I can schedule one-on-one time with someone to go over specific items. This new system has allowed us to get invoices out in half the time of our old system. Cons The initial naming convention did not match our current client/matter numbers; however, with the assistance of the support team, we were able to quickly make adjustments to accommodate our clients' billing requirements. It's great that we can login from anywhere and use it. Highly recommend it and Tiann! Cons Most places the client name or the number can be entered and the information will come up. There are a couple of places that you can enter the client name but not the number or you have to scroll through your list.
