Pros Creating Invoice Drafts, tracking payments and printing reports by Client are my favorite features of this program. Cons Takes a little time, trial and error to figure out, but Customer Support has been excellent, expecially \[sensitive content hidden\]. . Review Source KK Keller K. I hade used TimeSlips for over 15 years but when they switched their data base program it became very slow and their support staff could not fix the problem This if just the opposite of the support staff of TimeSolv. Every time I called, I received very good support. My calls were generated because I was still learning the program and needed help. Cons The program is very flexible and therefore there are a lot of different approaches to having the program work exactly as you wish. It just takes time to get it working they way you want but the good news is that the support staff will work with you to get it right. Review Source MH Mark H. As a billable consultant, my time is money. So the ability to easily track my time and expenses against project tasks leads to less overhead for me and quicker payment from my clients. In addition, the TimeSolv team quickly addresses any questions and has quickly implemented new enhancements, such as, improving mobile expense tracking within their app and adding a calculated invoice due date display. I also like the ability to establish Projects with Phases and Tasks so I can track resources and budgets. Cons The only thing I'd like to see yet would be a Gannt Chart view of the Project Tasks, but understandably, that's not the purpose of this software. Review Source NG Norma G. Cons Running reports not as complete as it should be for legal services industry. Software glitches affect invoices, fee deposits, etc. This needs to be reviewed and perfected. Pros The system is very easy to use and revise when there is a human error. Cons We have had no issues with this product unlike the previous two billing systems. Switched from [Clio](https://www.capterra.com/p/105428/Clio/) Clio had a number of snags in its system and the company basically said that it could not fix our issues. Pros TimeSolv is a solid legal timekeeping platform, but better yet, it's constantly evolving. They have a suggestion portal, if you suggest a new feature and enough people vote for it, they will include it. No software platform is perfect, but they make a concerted effort to make theirs better based on user suggestions. Cons The Statements of Account are not as intuitive as the rest of the platform. Pros \- Great value for the money, - Ease to use cloud access - because I often have to be at clients' locations and like to enter my time and costs while still on-site, - Totally usable interfaces for Time, Disbursements, and Invoicing. - But best of all, the ability to design different invoice templates, which - sadly - some of the new competing cloud systems that keep calling me to leave TimeSolv and use their system, just can't seem to have the ability for me to design different billing invoice templates - it's either "my invoice version, or the road" - they basically say. TimeSolv has always been able to allow me to design different templates for the different kinds of clients I have. And I have been using this for 6 years running. Cons Setting up clients and matters and "related parties," is a bit "clunky" but still usable. It's OK for me, for the clients I have, and the areas of law where I concentrate my practice. It took me a few days to find everything. I remind you to take advantage of their videos. The videos help a lot. Cons What I like least about the software is that you have to pay for every time user. For example if three attorneys are going to keep time using the software than all three attorneys will need to pay for the program. Very easy to track my time and no confusion about how much I have billed each day, week, and month. I especially like the dashboard feature that shows me how much I have billed each month. Cons One feature I would like is for the dashboard to show me a projection based upon my goal for the year vs. what I have billed so far, i.e., if my goal is 2,000 hours for the year, and I have billed 325 through January and February, then I would like it to show me how many hours I would need to average in the remaining months to reach my goal. It works great! We track time by client and by project. We create invoices. We sync with QuickBooks. It all works great. Also, customer support has been great, especially in the beginning when we were getting started. Highly recommended. Cons We had some bugs syncing with QB, but customer service helped work that out. Pros I love how user friendly TimeSolv is. They have lots of videos on how to use the system and explanations all over their site. I rarely had to email an employee for help. When problems arise TimeSolv staff are willing and able to resolve the issues. Pros Cloud access has been wonderful and the program works quickly and efficiently. It is tailored to my small firm and does not have all the extra functions only necessary for larger firms. Cons The billing is a bit confusing to clients and it would be very helpful if statements had more customization options. The "statement" vs. "invoice" is also a bit confusing.
