Pros: In a business where we are writing proposals for nine regions across the midwest and southeast, it's so nice to have all of our assets- photos, logos, project information- all in one place. The DAM makes it easy to find our assets and share the content with our teams across the country. Winning work is much easier thanks to the Widen DAM!

Cons: The only downside to this software comes from me not being here upon it's inception. Therefore, some of the conventions are not as intuitive as they could be. Also, many outdated files clog up our DAM...we are in major need of an overhaul.

Widen is amazing. Going from the DAM we were using before...this is a complete 180

Pros: I love the ease of use and functionality of the software. We have several departments in our company that have struggle to adapt to DAM systems in the past; but they have taken on Widen with ease and have actually enjoyed being able to go in and get what they need without contacting us.

Cons: I wish that we could make collections more searchable for users without having to place the collection on our desktop page.

Pros: Easy to use and customizable. Very rarely goes down and is always reliable. Easy to teach people how to use

Cons: The only thing I do not like about the software is how hard it is to figure out what the most important insights are. I love that we have all the information but I would like to understand it better

Overall: Insights, ease of finding assets, ease of transferring files, ease of distributing information.

Pros: Actually there are two things that I like most: First is Widen tech supports is one of the best! They respond very quick and right on! Second, the software is very self-explanatory.

Cons: You have to create different roles for each of your customers. If not they all will see each other's activities!

Overall: Provide customers the abilities to search products with images and specs themselves, cut down customer service time.

We have worked with Widen for decades and this is the best Collective yet!

Pros: We have used many Widen DAM/CMS/Collectives over the decades we have teamed with them and this is, by far, the best. From the simple user interface to the customization that we required, Widen worked tirelessly to make this system exactly what we needed for all of the different marketing genres we work with.

Our system needed a lot of content storage, as well as the ability to store thousands of large images. This system accomplishes all of that and more.

The hands-on training and live help keeps everything rolling without much of hiccups. A truly great system by a great team.

Cons: The inability to use .csv files. I look forward to seeing what updates this system receives going forward. Outside of that, not much for overall cons.

Overall: Efficiency, efficiency and more efficiency!

Currently finishing my 3rd consecutive Widen DAM Implementation, with NO large issues encountered.

Pros: The Admin GUI is an intuitive mix of front-end and back-end Admin Tools, with STRONG client support accessible via Chat, email, demos and structured training sessions.

Cons: Lack of an XML generator (so, no ability to create an MRSS feed for distro to 'New Media' platforms such as STB's and smartphones), and lack of a .csv ingest manager for direct 'Custom Metadata Import.'

Overall: Incredibly intuitive front and back ends, with strong client support. Moving forward, we're planning on eliminating multiple, redundant digital distro solutions with a single Widen DAM workflow.

Widen Collective is the best Digital Asset Management system I have ever worked with.

Pros: I've used quite a few DAM solutions in the past and Widen is by far the best one I have worked with. The thing that I like the best is the ability to manage the metadata just as easy as it is to manage the assets themselves.

On top of that, the ability to assign permissions to access and administer assets by role has proven to be very valuable. We have assets that are only applicable to certain customers, so I can easily manage that through the admin tool.

The time that we spent managing assets went from a full-time person's job before implementing Widen to only an hour or so a week once it is up and running.

My team has to manage over 15 different categories of assets. Most of those categories are individual brands within our company. Some are segments of the brands. All of that to say that we have sliced up our asset offering in many ways to best serve our customers. By being able to segment those brands, we are able to get the right asset served up quickly in a variety of formats to fit most every need.

In addition to that, we can make it so only certain assets can be served to certain customers. All through the use of Widen's "role" and "asset group" functions. We have well over 1000 end-users that we can easily manage.

Cons: The only thing I have an issue with is my inability to customize the home page. From what I can tell, you have to be pretty savvy at HTML to do it right. But, I can say that there are some basic things that you can customize that will make your page on brand by adding logos and customizing the colors of fonts, buttons, etc.

Pros: Simple user interface, unlimited bandwidth, easy to understand billing. Widen offered every feature we had on our must-have list at no additional charge - unlike many of the other companies we looked at. We needed a system to store large images and video which would allow us to share them across locations and with outside partners. Widen also allows us to host videos and stream directly from the collective which makes version control so much easier.

Overall: Widen allows us to manage, store, search and share all of our digital assets in one place. With multiple partners across the country and staff spread out across the region, it's makes collaboration so much simpler.

Widen is a company that delivers a great product with great customer service

Pros: The Media Collective software is easy to use and is easy to configure. If you need some help there is an extensive online help library full of things which can help you, but if you need to talk to someone directly you can web chat, email or call. The help associates are always very friendly and will work with you to understand and fix the issues that you're having.

Cons: I guess I don't like the fact that it's not free? I had to put something in this space. If it was free it would definitely be better however that's probably not a sustainable scenario for Widen.

Overall: We store digital assets on the system for company wide collaboration, we also started using the Media Collective as a web host for external forward facing websites. Widen makes it easy for us to accomplish these tasks as painlessly as possible.

Excellent! The application is SO easy to use :)

Pros: Everything about this product is easy!

We initially chose the software after closely reviewing more than 7 different solutions. Widen accommodates all of our needs where others came up short. Ultimately the deciding point came down to the out-of-the-box video streaming feature, this is what makes Widen different.

The Widen team has the roll-out process down to a science. They worked with us to define a solid taxonomy which paved the way for an easy initial asset upload.

Training and the on-boarding process was seamless. The application is easy to use but, when in doubt, they have a fully loaded training library (Widen University) which has video tutorials and easy to find articles.

We are very pleased with Widen and would definitely choose it again!

The onboarding process has been very smooth as our facilitator, has been great.

Pros: I can only speak to the onboarding process as we have not implemented as yet. Widen takes a very thoughtful, step-by-step approach to teaching new users the system. There is constant support available via phone, chat, webinar, video and web content.

Cons: As someone new to this type of system, I have struggled a bit with understanding the myriad fields, categories, and other sections.

Overall: Too early in the process to tell. We have not yet implemented it.

Great Product for keeping our partner assets organized.

Pros: Easy to use, bot internally and our advertising partners. The training process of users is very fast and simple. The DAM is a great way to keep all of our advertising assets organized by vendor and client.

Overall: Helps us keep our ad partners organized, as well as keeping all of our creative assets for the clients in one easy to navigate place.

The Widen Collective has transformed the way we work as a team.

Pros: It has enabled us to focus on creative work rather than routine fetch & retrieve for employees, as well as organizing our thousands of assets and collateral in a central, easy to use, location.

Overall: You get time, organization, and a solution that your team mates and other employees love.

Pros: I like the visibility of each asset and the editing features that accompany it. The spotlight collections help us to easily showcase our latest product assets.

Cons: I am waiting for the next level user interface where ther's more drag-and-drop features built in...and templates for the homepage.

Overall: Having this frees up my time to manage more strategic projects.

The experience has been outstanding! Great customer service and an easy platform to use!

Pros: The aspect I like the most about the Widen platform is the portals feature. The ability to customize content around branding just elevates our brand presence and provides us with exactly what we need to best serve our accounts. An easy to navigate and integrated feature such as portals has served us very well.

Cons: The difficulty we have faced most is the metadata issue. Because we offer so many products and styles when uploading it can make the process cumbersome and ultimately we don't utilize the metadata as best we should because we simply don't have the time or manpower to manage it efficiently.

Overall: We find the largest benefit for us is elevating our brand presence to our accounts. It really has enhanced how we deliver digital assets around key product launches and other crucial moments for our brand.

But I personally feel some features need update and launching new features will help us a lot

Pros: Speed.
Since the beginning we've upload thousands of images and added hundreds of users across our company and partners. It has not slowed down with all of the added weight and burden. It's still as snappy and responsive searching for assets in the beginning. Narrowing the search results and downloading images is very quick.

Cons: Support.
The support could be better. There has been times, not in a while, when it goes down, just like any cloud service. But it seems the first line of support are the on-site admins. It's a problem when they are not in the office. There's not an easy way to contact support when needed. There should be a chat feature to let them know when we are experiencing outages and get the issues solved.

Experience, so far, has been very good. I have an excellent implementation specialist at Widen.

Pros: Very fast. Custom searches, collections, and categories. Customization is good. Being able to whittle down what you want to see is easy once you set it up.

Cons: You can't rename assets on upload. You should have a very specific naming convention so you dont' have conflicts. (but conflicts are easy to resolve.)

Overall: Ease of use. Integration with Salesforce. Control of assets. Analytics.

Widen has been very helpful for my company. It allows up to keep all of our assets in one place.

Pros: Customer service is personal. People ask and care about your user experience and guide you from start to your entire use of the tool.

Cons: I cannot say anything bad. But what I like least is that collections appear in categories. This only is problematic when batch editing. But it can be filtered.

Pros: Overall, this is a great tool to share all our many photos and visual assets. It creates a nice visual and the download options are great.

Cons: It's a little hard to navigate and get to the view you want for searching. The team has to be willing to put a lot of time in organizing the initial uploads in order to make it worth it.

Was able to learn the whole entire program within a few days and could find my way to certain pages.

Pros: The simplisticness about the whole software is amazing. There is so much to use to search for and the metadata and taxonomy parts of it are a useful tool to get work done efficiently and effectively.

Cons: Sometimes if you search something and you have keywords programmed in there already what you want still won't show up and things that don't relate to your keywords come up.

Overall: Learned taxonomy and metadata and how it all can lead to awesome organization. No matter what you're looking for you can find it quickly.

Pros: It's an easy way to send high-resolution photos and video to our clients.

Cons: It's hard to find the 'order's I have previously done. Sometimes I like to put the orders back in my cart to re-send but I can't seem to find how to do that anymore.

Overall: I have been using Widen collective since 2008 and I have always been happy with the software. It's an easy way to send high-resolution photos and videos to our clients and talent.

Pros: Easy to use. Intuitive layout. Sorting functions. Search is very useful.

Cons: I haven't encountered anything that has prevented me from doing something I needed to do yet.

Overall: I have been using Widen Collective for three months now. It was easy for me to learn to use given the intuitive nature of the layout. I like the search function a lot. It makes finding relevant media simple even with just a first name. I haven't had a reason to contact customer support yet.

Pros: Customer service support

Cons: Not the lowest price but worth the investment

Overall: Widen stays ahead of the industry and offers integrations to the DAM offering that add more value by leveraging other systems for more efficiency and cost savings.

Comments: I am new to using this platform. The customer experience has been great, they did a full walk through of the functionality and platforms. It is a bit dense however, and really does require you to use a good few times before you get the hang of it. Currently we are just using the storage and as a place to house our website images. I really like that it makes uploading picture to the website easier, and overwriting newer versions of images is easy. The process to upload an asset takes some time, but it forces you to be through in your tagging.

Comments: Widen Collective has solved many problems for our Marketing Department managing two ski resorts. We are able to categorize photos, search photos and create collections of photos - all functions our old DAM system was not able to do. Not to mention, Widen has awesome customer support; they are there for you to answer any and all questions - if they don't know the answer, they sure will find out for you!

Pros: Collective Media has a variety of ways to share images out, depending on the audience. This allows for getting the right images in the right format into the right hands as quickly as possible.

Cons: Haven't found one yet!

Overall: Johnsonville Sausage recently launched the DAM out to our first core group of users. With the rebranding of our products and our new ad campaign, it couldn't have come at a better time. The response from the users had been nothing but positive. "Great, Easy and Wonderful" are a few of the things I have been hearing. Thanks Widen for making my job easier!

Recommendations to other buyers: No regrets here! Spent a lot of time researching other software and Widen has lived up to everything they promised.

Comments: Digital asset management is made easy with Widen. Their staff is there to help us every step of the way and the overall functionality of our site is top notch because of it. My team is able to quickly find marketing materials with just a few clicks, saving us time and money.

Comments: I have worked with Widen for a little over a Year. This was the first Summit that I attended. It was so informational. I learned a lot about how others use the product and how I could be utilizing it in ways my company had not thought of.

All of the Widen employees were supper helpful and full of information.

Comments: We are a small, private non-profit organization that uses Widen to store our company and Board-related digital assets. Widen allows us to easily organize, tag, query, upload/download and share these with ease with minimal effort on the administration end. It also provides a scalable and secure cloud-based environment in which to store our assets. We would recommend Widen to other organizations that are looking for a solution to their data asset management storage needs.

Pros: -Secure -Scalable -Organization of assets

Cons: -The words on the UI are quite small -It is unclear on how to install the application on a mobile device

Comments: We've used three different DAM vendors over 10 years and Widen has proven to be an incomparable partner for us, helping to make sense of data chaos. I'd say that Widen exceeds any expectations in their customer service--they're very responsive and routinely follow up on requests. Pros: Intuitive, strong on basics, interesting road map for upcoming releases.

Cons: It would be nice for non-users to be able to approve digital assets for use when they are sent a collection. However, the road map for Widen Workflow shows promise as a solution for this.

Overall: Prior to implementing the Widen DAM my colleagues and I lacked a truly organized storage system to access to our digital assets. As digital formats and social media continue to grow and become a real focus of our marketing efforts, not having a centralized, searchable system with metadata and versioning was becoming a real problem. As part of a larger institutional initiative the ballet reviewed several DAM solutions. In the end Widen was the best solution for us, because it provided the basic features we needed in the everyday, with a road-map of exciting updates and enhancements coming at a pace we can keep up with. The Widen DAM touches all aspects of our organization and will continue to grow with us. It is already helping us work in a more streamlined manner and more efficiently. In the long run it will help preserve the legacy of the ballet.

Pros: The biggest business problem that it has solved for my company is it allows multiple people to do what once was a one person task. It saves time when being able to have multiple people have access to the same files and being able to send, upload and manage it all. Being able to easily send outside organizations images and documents has saved us so much time and has left very little room for error when sending. With Widen's recent website advancement's, it's given me an opportunity to create a creative brief for projects I'm working on. All within 1 website. It's great.

Cons: This doesn't happen all the time, but sometimes I will be uploading files and Widen will time out or freeze during my upload and I'll have to start the process all over. This could be a problem with my internet connection as well.

Overall: What I like best about Widen is that it is multifunctional. Not only is it a secure way to archive images, documents and videos, but it also allows you to share these files amoungst coworkers and clients with ease. Multiple people can be uploading, sharing and viewing files with no problem. It takes the weight off of one person having to manage the content and allows anyone to distribute items without a hassle.

Recommendations to other buyers: It takes a little getting used to the Widen, but once you become familiar and you experienced all that Widen has to offer, it's worth the time and effort put in to it.

Pros: Easy to use and getting easier every day..

Cons: So much to learn and so little time!

Overall: Our company has used this platform for several years now and it's been increasingly important in our marketing communications strategy as we move from print to digital. The more I learn about the tool the most impressed I am, and there is always something new to learn because they not only keep pace with the latest technology -- they actually stay ahead. There is no need to build costly new platforms from scratch, we just need to rely on the experts at Widen, learn from them and deploy. Great value for anyone who is serious about digital marketing.

Overall: I have been a constant user of the Widen Media Collective for almost 5 years and have no problem saying that it is the best digital asset management system that I have used in almost 20 years of DAM experience. Not only is their product superb, but what really sets them apart from other vendors is the quality of their customer service. When you become a Widen customer, you become part of the Widen family, and they take care of you. I honestly can't say enough about them.

Overall: I've worked with a lot of media databases, and nothing compares to Widen. It's so easy to use, navigate and more than that, support is great. If there are any bugs, a representative would get back to me within 24 hours. They are also open to exploring ideas and working with us to make Widen better for our organization.

Overall: I was supporting Widen platform for big farmaceutical company as a contractor. Widen DAM platform is great way to share your assets. Collection and categories system is hard to explain if other person can't see the platform, but it's intuitive and gets easy after short interaction. Administrative configuration is complex, but on the other hand gives big control in to whom you give access to you assets. And in most cases needs to be set up once and can be used by several groups of people with same access level.

Pros: I like the ability and flexibility Widen offers to integrate the digital media content with our applications and websites. It also offers nice tools and functionality to add, maintain, organize, and secure content.

Overall: Our company uses Widen as our Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution. Our employees and reps can easily find the media content they want using a very nice search feature and it allows them to download the content in various formats and sizes. The application is very intuitive, fast, and easy to use. Widen offers flexible integration which easily allows our applications and websites to pull media from the Widen DAM so all our companies digital media needs can come from a single repository which makes maintaining data an easy process. I've used Widen's technical support in the past for questions with integration and learning more about what their solution offers and the support team has always very helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond.

Pros: Most of my experience is around using the API interface and it seems to be very good.

Cons: There were some limitations to the 2.0 API that you could not do but that the 1.0 API could do. So that was kind of weird that the 1.0 would be better than 2.0 in some situations.

Overall: I've been using the Widen API to connect to the asset management system and pull various amounts of information for displaying in a 3rd party webpage. It's works great, the API documentation is good and Widen has given excellent support on it.

Pros: It makes keeping things organized (which is a complicated job) super easy.

Cons: It works really, really well, but as with any asset management tool, there is ongoing maintenance and auditing that has to take place. That can get tedious at times, but we realize that it has to be done to keep things current, delete outdated/redundant assets, or just to check things that might have been uploaded with incorrect metadata, for instance.

Overall: We've been using WIDEN's DAM for about three years now to organize and distribute marketing deliverables to other internal departments like sales, development, etc. It makes it so easy to have a single, definitive location to find marketing-related assets. People don't have to wonder where to look to see if they have the latest version of an asset. And we don't have to worry about people accessing things they shouldn't. It also cuts down a lot on the requests we get day to day, because folks know where to go to find things themselves. And the support team at WIDEN is awesome and super friendly and helpful whenever we do have to reach out to them (which isn't that often because their product is great!).

Recommendations to other buyers: Have a plan going in to make sure you start out organized. It's much easier to do all that work up front than to try to get the cat back in the bag after launch.

Pros: I love that it is cloud-based and you can access it from any computer, phone or tablet. It's super easy to create collections and share media with internal and external clients.

Cons: Some of the features need updating in my opinion. I have asked several times for certain changes that I'm sure I'm not the only one to encounter.

Overall: One of the best things about Widen is their customer support. Every team member I've interacted with has been incredibly knowledgable and genuinely wants to help me. For example, I had a vision for our Dashboard page, and I wasn't sure how to achieve it myself because it involved a fair amount of coding. One of the customer support staff worked (very patiently) with me to literally build my vision. I even hand drew a picture and emailed it to him so he could see what I wanted. Thank you Tyson Purcell!

So whether it's through the vast information on the Support Page, the direct chat, or emailing or talking with very responsive Widen staff, I have found a solution to just about all of the problems I have encountered. It's not just admin who love Widen, our users have told us how easy it is to use to search and share assets.

Comments: I'm part of a small, internal corporate video team. We have presenters around the world who often need access to some of our video assets on short notice. They used to have to contact us, and we would have to drop what we were doing to send a file to them. Now they can just log on to Widen and easily find what they need.

Quick note about what kind of company this is: A few weeks after we first joined Widen, we asked our representative if a certain feature existed (sorry, I don¿t remember exactly what it was¿it was something that would make things easier for some of our users). He said no, it doesn¿t, but he would suggest it to the development team. Just a few days later he called us back to let us know that he had talked to the development team and they were going to incorporate that feature into the next release, which was just a few weeks away from launching. Great news! So here is a company of people who listen to their customers and genuinely want us to have a good experience.

The interface is easy to use, I like the upload wizard, I like uploading new versions of items--the asset's url stays the same. The only 'con' I can think of is that there was a bit of a learning curve at first to figure out how to, for example, send one or more assets to someone to download (not just view). For the most part, it's intuitive to use but plan to spend at least a few minutes familiarizing yourself with it when you first use it.

We looked at other DAM products out there as well (don't remember their names). If anyone else out there is looking for a good DAM system, this is what worked for us. I could see it working for a large corporation or even a business like ours of ~130 people (plus over 100 presenters and international associates). The best value, best features, best customer service, a perfect fit. Thanks.

Comments: If you're looking for a solution that works, and works well, Widen is definitely where you need to look. Our organization has dealt with other DAM software before, but this is the first one we've been genuinely excited to work on.

My organization is using Widen not only to manage our digital assets, but to also use it as a production tool for all of our news releases. We leverage Widen's ability to dynamically resize images to embed them into our releases, as well as allowing us to see what images users are using. We're also seeing benefits from extensive metadata abilities in Widen to make images easier to find and locate.

In addition, the people that you work with are some of the best in the industry. The professionalism, kindness, and approach-ability is second-to-none.

Comments: I've been using Widen DAM for one of our agency's clients for about 8 months. The agency actually uses this system for several different clients, but I only focus on one.

It is a great tool and a colossal help to not only out team but our client and their teams around the world. From photography, videos, and logos to ads, corporate presentations and entire brand campaigns, Widen keeps things organized and centralized for easy accessibility. I've been starting to use their mobile app more and more. Not only is it great for time when you're out of the office, but I can't count the number of times during in-office meetings its searchability functions have come through to quickly provide help/reference.

The negative only issue I've run into so far is learning to correctly utilize all of the different user permission/setting combinations. It's highly customizable, but requires a bit of a learning curve to get the hierarchies figured out.

Overall, I'm a huge fan of the program--compared to several different DAMs I've used in the past, Widen is one I hope to continue to use for many projects and years to come!

Finally! A system that is low-maintenance and works.

Comments: We've been on Widen for about two years so far and it has been great! Back before we were with Widen, we could make due with what we had...barely. Our team sat down with all the stake holders who would be using it on a regular basis and mapped out our needs, wants, etc., and then started doing some research. We went through three or four DAM system and had representatives from these companies explain what their systems could do, but they always seemed lacking, especially with the price tag they were quoting.

Some of them we did like, but there would have to be equipment that was brought in to hold the assets and such, which would be ok, but then we would have to maintain the equipment. And then if there is an equipment issue we would likely have to wait for a representative to come fix it and hope it works. Just too much hassle for something we basically wanted to put assets on and keep them there for distribution.

Then enter Widen. From the first demonstration of what their system can do, and the abilities we would have with setting permissions and distributing all the image, audio, and video assets, we were giving each other high-fives. Literally, we had the phone on mute and were high-fiving each other over and over again! The on-phone rep from Widen had no idea.

We LOVED that we could upload assets onto Widen's cloud and our trainers all over the world could easily search, preview, and download any files we allowed them to. And there is zero maintenance on our end, other than uploading the assets, setting permissions, and making sure the proper metadata is typed in. And any time we have had an issue, Widen has been great about making sure a representative is there to help walk us through it.

So, now we're into Widen about two years and I almost forget it's there sometimes. Whenever there was a video request, we had to manually get a video out to a trainer or someone, which takes time that we don't seem to have. Now, they can just log onto Widen, search for an asset, and download it.

Seriously, get a Widen representative on the phone see what they can do for you.

Comments: The Widen Media Collective DAM software has been a Godsend to our company. Before implementing out Wide DAM, we did not have a standardized process, policy, or system to develop, maintain and share our digital assets and this caused a use of tribal knowledge for users to find key assets; increased workload to users to search for assets; seeing and understanding revision history, and understanding where each asset is used.

We now have a one-stop shop for all of our digital assets that users trust for sharing, uploading and re-utilizing.

Comments: The customer service can not be beat. Service after the sale of the product is huge to me. And I can't think of one negative thing to say about Widen's support team. I started my job shortly before we were going live with our DAM from Widen. Since I am in a key role for setting up and providing content, I had to learn how to use and manage the DAM quickly. Needless to say, that caused several calls, emails and live chats with customer support. I was always answered in a timely fashion and with helpful, step-by-step instructions.

The one thing I dislike about the DAM is the terminology for administrative tasks. It is definitely not a huge issue, just increases the learning curve to an already robust system to learn. This can make setting permissions more confusing than it needs to be.

Internal archiving etc. I am able to give access or restrict with ease. The only area I would like to see improvement on in with renaming files. For instance I have one item that has 5 angles photographed. If the name is changed later in production I have to then go and take the time to rename each angle separately. When I have 100 similar items with name changes...it really takes a long time.

Other than that it is an asset in our company and my daily job.

Comments: We have been a Widen customer for nearly 3 years now. From the first day of conception to today, when we have 5 divisions using our DAM and 5,000 assets loaded into the system, Widen has held our hand the whole way. We had never used a DAM before, so they really needed to help us map out our criteria and roles before we uploaded our first photo. Once we were up and rolling they are incredibly responsive when I have a question or just need to bounce ideas off of them. Best-In-Class Customer Service. Comments: Overall we've been very happy with our Widen experience. There was definitely a learning curve for us to understand the initial process, how to get started, protocols to implement and workflow. Widen also had a similar curve to understand the complexity of our business and how this will function within our company. We continue to define and revise our system and Widen's customer service has been extremely helpful, responsive and knowledgeable during this process. The Widen Media Collective has been an integral part of our day-to-day operations and a great improvement over previous vendors and processes we've used. We thank the Widen group for all their hard work and efforts and highly recommend their services to other organizations with similar needs.

Comments: Widen is the most user-friendly digital asset management application that I have had to deal with. As a designer this is a bonus as the screen loads are quick so very little downtime on retrieving files and downloading options are available based on need.

Comments: Widen's digital asset management (DAM) system, the Widen Media Collective, goes the extra mile in all areas of the industry - an SAAS platform with automatic, timely, and user-centered product enhancements and releases, stellar customer service via a variety of contact points (online chat, email, phone), and a simple, slick and intuitive UI. I have used a number of DAM systems and Widen is by far the best that I have seen, especially in terms of infrastructure, reliability, and ease of use. Other than a very short wish list of (admittedly specialized) features, I can think of no down side to adopting Widen as your DAM of choice.

Widen makes it easy.

Comments: The company I work for was looking for something to better help manage all of our assets and make them more accessible for the employees. Widen was the solution that we found and they were extremely helpful in the transition.

Once we had our assets sent to them and uploaded, we did the admin training with our Widen team member. They made sure to clearly go over everything I was going to need to know and in depth enough to where I had a good grasp on everything. They were knowledgeable in answering any questions I had while explaining it in terms that I was able to understand. After the training was over I was very confident that I would be able to answer any questions that were brought to me.

Using Widen has helped the overall workflow and aided in employees getting assets for themselves that previously they had to go through various channels to get. It also is nice that it works as another backup of all of our assets and makes them available to users as long as they have an internet connection. It is easy to use and navigation becomes second nature after getting used to it.

I can't think of any cons that I have. They are constantly listening to feedback to help their product evolve.

Comments: I have been working with Widen now for almost a year. Not only is the Widen Collective an invaluable tool for our business but it is easy to manage and navigate. Comments: Widen has been a great asset to our company. Everyone across the board has been pleased, and the system is utilized daily by many people throughout our company. Previous to WIDEN we stored assets internally. We had to have a full time position just to manage it. Now, anyone can access images (from our creative department to outside sales reps.)

We also use WIDEN for pre-media services. We have done quite a bit of photography with them, and we have developed a great process. It is a simple and painless and has become very efficient.

My only suggestion would be to develop an easier way to manage metadata.

I highly recommend WIDEN.

Comments: Widen has been such a pleasure to work with. We currently use the Digital Asset Management. This is such a great tool, allowing us to keep all our files organized and much easier to access. The transition from our old system was very smooth. Honestly overall this has been a great experience making our process less complicated and a smoother process. Also allow us to send images out to other people is a breeze. Customer service is always willing to help resolve any issues there may be and are always friendly. They continue to collect feedback and improve their site to always make it the best.

Comments: Intergraph implemented our WIDEN DAM system in June 2013. From the time we purchased the system to our go-live date, the implementation process was six months, largely due to the vast amount of data we had to organize and import into the DAM. The WIDEN team made this process as easy as possible for us - providing tips and guidance every step of the way. Their team of project managers and support personnel are the best in the business, and make you feel like your company is the only one that matters.

Our DAM launch has been a great success. Any issues we've had since launch have been minor, and have been addressed immediately by the WIDEN support team. We first selected WIDEN based on their tool set and capabilities, but I can't say enough about their support. They go the extra mile for all their customers.

Comments: Pros: Widen's DAM tool is the perfect way to provide the latest marketing assets (and more) to our staff and distribution. It's easy to use and easy to access anytime, anywhere. We are able to highlight new material, update older material, and know what is being used. Widen's customer service has been outstanding through the set-up process and after we've been up and running.

Comments: Finding the right DAM platform was an important step for my organization, and we spent months researching different vendors. Many seemed great, but again and again many fell short or just weren't a good fit for our needs. In the end, Widen was on the one solution that met all of our needs perfectly. They were with us throughout the entire starting-up process, and we've been satisfied ever since.

I would definitely recommend Widen.

Comments: I've been using Widen for a few years now and have to say that it's functionality and usefulness has grown significantly since I started.

We use Widen to store hundreds, if not thousands, of images. The ability to order any size image in any file format at a moment's notice is amazingly helpful. Especially since we often have to accommodate several different kinds of requests on a weekly basis. Widen also helps us distribute high resolution images across the country to our entire sales force without having to worry about the file limitations set on our email servers. This makes the launch of new products a bit easier because they don't have to wait for us to ship materials.

I've participated in a few conference calls with Widen employees and have sent several emails back and forth. After a lenghty discussion of creating an indicator for CMYK images vs. RGB images, they were very attentive to our needs and came up with several ideas for us. I've always been very impressed with their professionalism and their willingness to take feedback. I had some trouble with the admin interface last year and they were very helpful, even though I'm sure I was not very easy to deal with at that particular moment.

I will say that I've had some confusing situations with Overall, I'm very happy to be using Widen on a weekly basis. I look forward to their continued improvements and working with Widen for years to come! Thank you, Widen Collective!

Comments: We switched from another company to Widen to handle our digital assets as well as some color correction. The DAM site is by far the best we have ever had!! I use it on a daily basis. And the pre-media or color correction that we use is also top-notch. Widen seems to inherently know what I need. It was one of the best moves we made, to switch to Widen.

Comments: I really love Widen. I am relatively new to it but its been so great to be able to access media from my workplace from throughout the years. The best thing is the amount of customizableness(?) that every asset has. My only wish is that sometimes the interface would require less navigation but that the smallest worry ever for me. I really love widen.

Pros: This DAM interface is the most innovative creation I have ever come across. I come from the old days of writing CDs and writing every project on the CD with a .05 sharpie marker. That took forever. When I started my job and was told that they use WIDEN, I was like what on earth is this all about!? But I love this interface, the ease of sending files to customers, vendors. The file conversions are awesome as well, cutting back on time using photoshop to save each format. Sending large emails is a problem too, but WIDEN allows you to send any size file to anyone on the receiving end. I recommend WIDEN to anyone who stores their archive on a server or other tangible mediums.

Cons: I really cant think of any.
