Associate Software Developer Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Average Email marketing Platform" January 30, 2018 3.0 We had created same ad-campaigns so that our products have more outreach. I have generated some important traffic to the company blog with it's help. Pros It is easy to upload contacts and to create and edit campaigns. This helped me to track open rates for the emails we send and to be able to follow up with those who have not opened the email yet which is better than mailchimp. Cons The payments and the editor are the things I don't like about the software. Also integrating the plug-ins is not that easy. Review Source Jason W. The setup is simple. The pay-for-what-you-send feature is amazing and the templates that are freely provided are just beautiful. As soon as we connect Campaign Monitor to our CRM, we will be seeing some serious gains. Pros Ease of use. Review Source Misty F. Cons It's somewhat frustrating to use once a mailing list gets on the larger size as the segments can't be generated and instead have to be manually filled so any new segments take ages to fill. We were looking for the cheapest email marketing application with templates that we could adjust. Campaign monitor offers a bare-bones experience. It gets the job done, but it's templates aren't as flexible as alternatives like MailChimp. It's now more expensive then alternatives such as ActiveCampaign and offers less features such as Sales CRM and Site Messages. Pros \- The software presented as a cheaper alternative to Mailchimp for our medium-size business. - The software offered most of the email functionality we required. Cons \- Pricing staggers up quickly. - Offers less features then alternatives like ActiveCampaign. - Customer Support is not quite as accessible and helpful then ActiveCampaign or MailChimp. - MailChimp is more user-friendly, especially for beginners. January 6, 2016 5.0 Just dove into this platform for a client of mine. The design and template platform is very well done. The options are not endless but the interactivity is unbeatable. No extensive coding knowledge necessary, so I found it easy to use. Beautifully self-explanatory in all ways. Give it a try for sure! Pros The customer support is top-notch from my experience. Quick, explanatory and complete. I had no holes in my interaction with them. Templates are really nice. Cons Not as much freedom as a customized design platform but a great bang for your buck either way. I can easily track analytics, which has been a game changer for my business! Pros I love the ease of using this email program! Lists are easy to sort and adding in new contacts is a quick process. Things are laid out very well and it doesn't take a lot of work to be able to learn to work with the program easily! Cons I have found that the templates that they have are a bit difficult to work with and maneuver, but overall this is still worth working through because of the upsides of this program.
