Our experience with this software was all positive. The progression from start to finish was quite simple and not at all daunting unlike other similar mail campaign platforms we had used. The templates are excellent and caters for all email campaign needs with functionality that goes far beyond the requirements of a standard email newsletter. The support service offered a quick response time via email with staff offering very succinct answers to every question we had, 24/7.

I believe this is the best emailing service around, although the premium service pricing could be more competitive with MailChimp. Nevertheless, I prefer Campaign Monitor for its ease of use, layouts, and amazing customer service!

Great. I would recommend it to anyone looking to promote their business or drive sales.

Pros

Super easy to use. I love being able to personalize and monitor email campaigns. I love being able to track the results of my email marketing efforts.

Cons

I suppose the design features are not as robust as I would like but overall not a huge drawback for my needs.

As a 'no-designer' I find their set-up easy to use and there are so many ways to gather further clients and keep them entertained and well-informed. For nearly 7 years I have been using CM for all my clients - of the companies I worked for, as well as my own business. In terms of functionality and versatility on EDM CM is in its own league. They're one of the few genuine companies out there always trying hard to find room to improve their software and customer services. Such relentless effort is a great encouragement to whoever works in the digital industry - you cannot go wrong if you're customer focused!

Pros

Great, simple and clean templates for immediate use. We can import our campaigns created in HTML that we used to send to our customers, The survey option it's a great option to insert in our campaigns

Cons

The support for basic account it´s only by email phone . The price is high if you have few emails to sent.

Hi, we have just had to switch to a new email service and have chosen Campaign Monitor. We are still in the process of setting up our account and doing test sends but so far my experience has been that although it might not be as intuitive as other systems, the support staff are excellent at answering queries and very prompt. Also like that it's easy to upload one off databases from our CMS system without needing complicated opt in processes.

Pros

Campaign Monitor makes it easier to create and edit marketing campaigns for small businesses or low budgets for marketing. Just upload clients lists, customize the templates and send it out within minutes.

Cons

I don't have any dislikes right now. The email platform was quite easy and intuitive to use.

I like mail chimp as well. But I prefer the (UI) User Interface and (UX) User Experience Visual Design of Campaign Monitor best.

Pros

It's a great email campaign monitor.

Cons

Price, more of it should go to the user.

It over a decade of using various platforms, I have to say that Campaign Monitor leaves their competitors in the dust -- especially the perennially popular, but actually disappointing and overpriced, Mail Chimp. The customer service is the best I've ever encountered online. Their pricing is cheap. Their tools are superb. They are the best, by far.

I have just started using CM and I am extremely impressed with it. Its capabilities are extensive, but it can be 'started simple' to get things running before the mores advanced capabilities are used. I absolutely love it and setting up campaigns and designing tailored mailshots could not be simpler. Support from CM is excellent too and by far and away the best I have ever seen online. Pros

I like the overall ease of use and professionally looking templates. This is not really rare with modern email marketing tools but still. This one is great for small businesses.

Cons

I would like more variability in the layout options but other than that there's nothing really missing.

Great for newsletter development and email distribution to our subscribers. I can't foresee switching to another software anytime soon!

Pros

The interface is extremely streamlined and simple. It's incredibly simple to navigate. I only needed one or two quick tutorials to get the hang of it and use it myself.

Cons

It's a bit tricky to tell if two people are working on something at the same time. It would be nice to have a collaboration feature. Templates could be more customizable, but it gets the job done.

Import is great for all the extra fields we need for segmentation. Templates helped me get communications going in no-time. Analytics helped clean up our original list we imported and validate reach and reader preferences. The campaign builder is intuitive.

I've been a super user of Campaign Monitor's since 2010 and initially joined for two reasons: 1. they allow you to manage client accounts under your own (and mark them up) and, 2. you can design and develop your own custom newsletter layout and manage it using their UI. To this day, no one competes with them on these two things and I am absolutely enthralled with their support team. Highly recommend.

Campaign Monitor is an email building and sending a program, with a built-in theme builder that is easier to use then Mailchimp. It's also cheaper.

Cons

No real cons to the software. It's not as roubust as systems like Active Campaign that include a CRM in the pricier options.

I like the ability to drag and drop content in the builder and I like the amount of template artwork options available, however it is a very slow and laggy process at times. It takes time to save work, and there is no ability to bulk delete draft items if you wish to. I have been using CM for about three years now, and I find building multiple EDM's to be a lengthy process that requires patience.

I just submitted my first help ticket and had a resolution in 3 minutes. What AMAZING customer service! I have been very happy with the tool's capabilities for formatting, etc., integration into SalesForce (is okay), the cost per email without a monthly contract is a very good value for us. I highly recommend Campaign Monitor for occasional email blasts to your customer base.

When we launched our new venture, itondo.com (an augmented reality art marketplace app), we naturally went with CM for those email too. It's a great product and easy to use. Plus it's robust across many devices. The analytics are great, too. I've never felt the need to change to a competitor.

Have started using Campaign Monitor recently, had a couple of customer support queries and both answered quickly and cleared up any issues perfectly.

Pros

Customising with my own brand is easy, support materials good and easy reports and interface. The template builder can be mildly frustrating at times, but I am sure this will get better with more use.

Cons

Template builder can be a bit clunky sometimes with adding content or padding, but I am sure it will be better with more practice.

I didn't know where to begin....Campaign Monitor gave me professionally designed tempates and tools to make me look good with my leads, etc. Great tools and filters and results on who clicked and what they clicked on so you can follow up with warm leads. And the A/B testing on a portion of the email blast is great for increasing your opens 20% easy. Great tools!
