I can hold meetings more peacefully, as people will not hear the noise of the environment. It looks like magic! Pros AI works very well eliminating ambient sound. It enhances my productivity at work, by by removing background noise, recording and transcribing calls and meetings. The product itself functions well, but removing that free tier without a reasonable alternative has made it inaccessible for casual users. I no longer feel valued as a user and would not recommend it to others looking for a budget-friendly option. Pros The noise cancellation feature works well and the AI meeting transcription is accurate. It integrates nicely with popular video conferencing tools. Cons They removed their free tier which used to include 60 free minutes per day. This was a huge selling point and what attracted me to the product in the first place. Now there is no way to try or use the product without paying, which feels like a bait-and-switch. Very disappointed in this decision. February 12, 2022 5.0 Absolutely no complaints! I LOVE Krisp and I never knew I needed it as much as I did. Brilliant software that is a godsend! Pros I love that it really does remove the background noise! I tried it while clapping my hands and you can hardly hear the clapping sounds. I often have to wash dishes, have the washing machine on, cook lunch or munch on something quick. With Krisp, my clients never have to know that I'm getting all the dishes out and boiling up a storm in the kitchen. Also, if there's anyone else in the house and they are talking loudly, I never have to be embarrassed on client calls! Krisp is also very easy to use and integrate with your microphone, just change the audio input to krisp microphone and it's done! Cons I wish they would come out with a mobile app so that I can use my phone with my clients and that would allow me more freedom than carrying my laptop around. I like that even though the Krisp app take about 100 mb of space on my mac it does not consume much power as I do not find my mac overheating when using both Krisp and zoom together. I cannot carry mic with me and sometimes my mic picks up on background noise so I prefer using Krisp especially when the conversation is an important one. Really love that such an app exists. Cons It can only be used with a handful of popular calling apps such as skype, zoom etc I hope they add the ability to use Krisp on more calling and webinar apps. They have recently added a record audio option but one cannot directly record the audio but it has to be done via a calling app such as zoom. I don't have to mute my mic after I speak, can just leave my mic unmuted and not care about background noises. Also each update is making my voice more clear which is a great thing Pros Krisp filters out even the most noisiest sounds. It does a better job than most noise cancelling microphones. I can be sure of no disturbances in my voice during a video or a voice call. It supports almost all softwares which need a mic input. Didn't face any bug yet. Cons It is very expensive for an individual. The pricing starts from 12$ a month, which is quite high after conversion to my currency. The fact that Krisp runs locally on PC should cost them less, but they have priced it more than Netflix's max plan. Review Source KV Krapa V. The voice quality increases significantly and I need not worry about my normal surrounding noise anymore. It feels very lightweight also for my PC feels quite snappy to start and recognize any meets.
