ProWorkFlow is the product that makes you organized and on time person. Cons I found its price quite high honesty when you compare ProWorkFlow with others. It should be reduced a bit. After entering quotes, freelance hours, employee hours, invoices, expenses, we are hoping to receive financial and burn ROI information although uncertain of PWF's abilities to pick up all aspects in a concise complete report. Pros Definitely a great cost for the money. Linking capabilities among the various tabs (tasks, file attachments, calendar, quotes) is somewhat seamless. The multiple options of time keeping is a plus. Cons Reporting is lacking. Various report drop options is lacking and not clear. Lacks pliability. Invoicing is also lacking with the QuickBooks external quotient not adjustable which makes it unusable. The creator hasn't had to create 50 manual invoices because the unnecessary key strokes, date input inflexibility, cursor flow inept, lack of default movement is frustrating, time consuming and leads to errors. Very visually appealing and the organization makes sense. Highly recommend. Pros I've been trying out a lot of project management software recently, and this program stacks up very well. The UI is organized and sleek, and there's a good use of visualization for task prioritization, task status, and time tracking. I like the interface more than most other software I've tried. It's also fairly cost efficient for smaller teams compared to other options and you get many of the same features that more expensive programs offer. They offer tutorials on how to use all the features, but it's not too difficult to learn the majority of them. Cons There are a few bugs and kinks that need working out, but the team seems very active in doing so. May 11, 2018 5.0 Unfortunately we were unable to proceed with this product for reasons outside of the functionality or staff. Pros Very user friendly!! With a single one hour review of the product we were able to conduct a thorough trial with minimal follow up questions needed. Staff, with no instructions, were able to access their login and update tasks with minimal effort. Client visibility into projects, at the level designated by client by project, is a huge benefit. Their open API and multiple Zapier integrations provide a very flexible product. Finally, they understand Project Management = Time + Scope + Budget! No other product in this price range which we have found includes Budget from the Project down to the task level. Cons The only negative within this product is Tasks cannot be scheduled for specific dates/times on a staff calendar without impact to the project budget. IE: if the staff does not complete as scheduled but also does not update the Task project budget will be inaccurate. We did not chose to use this software due to requirements within our processes which made it incompatible, not due to the product or staff of ProWorkFlow. Review Source Sally B. They are so helpful and always get back to us quickly. The user interface is easy to understand and being able to supply access to the client to see the project is great for our business. Cons There are a couple of features that I would like to see included - one would be assigning available hours to staff individually as we have flexible working arrangements so not everyone has the same availability. The other would be the ability to set individual tasks as dependent tasks. At the moment, we can only set all tasks in the one project as dependent or not which is not realistic for our projects. ProWorkflow gives me a great piece of mind knowing when I need to deliver my part of projects. Pros What makes this stand out from other project management I have used is that it is extremely organized when it comes to tasks within a project. I can see the overall project purpose and request from clients, but the organization of subtasks is amazing. I was a project manager prior to my current position as my team's digital marketing manager so I have perspective from both positions. I really enjoy Proworkflow. Cons So far, I don't gave complaints except for the time calendar. Sometimes I put in all my time at once each day and when sliding it up and down on the calendar, it is very easy to accidentally add or remove time from a task. Review Source RR Robert R. Pros As a user with multiple clients and multiple projects often running concurrently, ProWorkflow is the best system that I have used so far. It is easy to use without having to have a lot of training before starting. It allows me to set up projects and tasks pretty quickly including deadlines. The reporting function is useful if a bit cumbersome. They're recently added dashboard has improved the ability to visually use the product to stay on top of projects. For anyone that wants to manage multiple projects, ProWorkflow is definitely a multi-functional tool. We love how transparent it is and has a great reporting functionality. I'm currently training a new staff on it and it's so easy to learn It's fantastic, we love it, our clients love it and we couldn't be happier. We are ProWorkflow's biggest fan! Our project management had gotten out of hand with the company growing so quickly. This software allows us to keep a handle on all projects and each task within those projects. The support I've received from the ProWorkflow staff has been amazing! Pros This software helped us streamline our work process. We have several people working on dozens of projects all the time. ProWorkflow helps us meet deadlines, look ahead for planning, and keep everyone on task so all deadlines are meet despite heavy workloads. Cons I would like to be able to add a status column to the main project page. Many of our projects get put on hold, or we are waiting for the client. The customer service is always prompt and helpful. If they can't answer a question right away, they will get back to you in a timely manner. It is easy for us to track where we are in a project for both time and budget wise. It's a great central location for everyone to keep notes and contact information. Agency Director Used the software for: ### "The complete package" April 8, 2010 5.0 The best management software at the time of looking and recently we embarked on a look top see if this was still the fact, an in my opinion it is. Love that it hosted (only once in three years did it not work...and that was in the night for us) as you get modification automatically. We didn't need to purchase expensive software (one quote we had for $4,000) and it would NOT meet our needs today. Pros After looking at many online hosted solutions we chose this as it manages the Project/opportunity from the Quoting stage right to invoicing, it even dovetails nicely with our accounting software and has eliminated 90% of the need to duplicate data from a proposal / quote to the job in a management system to our accounting program. They have now a messaging system which means that we have ALL the relevant data and info in ONE place. The widget that sits on your desktop and tracks time is SOOO good and easy. Their customer service team is fast to respond to issues and seem genuine in wanting to solve things quickly. Run on any browser no need to find systems that have to run on differing platforms Cons Have found the odd we bug from time to time (but they did fix them up ASAP) There is still (but is happening apparently) no integration with a calendar which would make the scheduling of jobs easier for creative's and consultants to see and plan their day. " July 19, 2018 5.0 Support is really great I once had a rep stay on the phone with me for over an hour trying to find a solution for us with an integrating software... not even their issue. Pros Everything seemlessly flow thru your work flow process eliminating double enrty work. Cons I wish it had a way for clients to sign off on quotes digitally. On the upside, there is very little it can't do in terms of keeping track of sales, invoicing, tasks, deadlines and team communication; they've basically thought of everything. A solid solution for architects and consulting services (legal) that deliver time-based invoices over long project timelines. On the downside, the interface isn't as clean and pretty as others; a little like an excel spreadsheet surrounded by widgets. If you already have solutions you're happy with for invoicing (Xero/Paypal), communication (Slack) and data (GDrive/Dropbox) you will find yourself doubling up a lot and/or having to change the way you work in order to use just one platform. Pros Comprehensive features. Ability to set up complex templates for workflows. Cons The interface isn't as clean or graphic as I would like. It's so easy to see what tasks we have coming up, what we are overdue on and how many hours have been worked vs how many hours are allocated to a project. Pros One of the features that really drew me to ProWorkFlow is the ability to send messages to users and have the message attached to a task or project. The inbuilt timer is one of the best I have used. As a virtual assistant company, tracking time and conversations is really important. Cons The only thing that I don't like about ProWorkFlow is you don't have the ability to set custom available hours to staff. This makes it tricky to ensure we are not overloading our team. We've been a loyal customer and have varied from 4-7 users. It's great that you can add and remove people easily but it can be a costly investment. Although if it catches at least 1 hour of billable time a month, that would've been missed otherwise, it pays for itself. Pros Ease of tracking time, creating projects and tasks. December 29, 2017 5.0 Pros PWF is intuitive in its setup. On-boarding users is very simple. The VERY detailed way that admins can build templates for business procedures is great. This function doesn't require any real technical skill and can be implemented across all channels easily. Cons Customer Service is lacking. PWF is easy to trouble shoot, but the devs are not in North American time zone. Response is by email mostly. This shouldn't be a deal breaker. I would very much recommend it. We have different divisions and teams serving varied company needs, all with their own unique workflow needs. ProWorkflow solved for them all. Honestly, I'd prob stop using it all together if it wasn't for all my projects being archived here for the last 3 years & it's a pain (speaking from experience) to transfer to something that works better for my needs. Cons Inability to easily search for old project – the name or job number has to be exact, otherwise you're just scrolling through hundreds of files.
