I have used ProWorkflow as a designer and specifically to manage projects and assign tasks. It is an efficient and easy interface to work with. It is a good interactive tool for others to be able to view the status of a project. As with anything, to be successful, it must be used consistently and properly, across the board for good success. I would recommend it for any agency workflow.

Pros

Ease of use. Training videos provided. Responsive support team. Works on-site or offsite.

Cons

Great reporting functions are there, but sometimes not initially intuitive.

PWF has been a great asset for us to have easy access to all client projects and track where those projects stand. We've been able to tailor the project briefs, project tasks, and project schedules to work effectively with a wide range of project types.

Pros

All project communication and files are in one place; Easy to find previous jobs for reference when planning; Customer service is always very friendly, efficient, and helpful

Cons

Reporting capabilities aren't as easy to adjust as project briefs, tasks, and schedules

We use the software on a daily basis to accomplish a few different goals: long-term project management and daily tech support contact tracking with a client. This software allows us to track our time, appropriately, to either an on-going project or if a client emails (or calls) and wants support on how to use a product. It's helping us identify how to better serve our clients and make see how much time each client uses.

Pros

Time tracking and project organization is a huge pro. It is very easy to tell exactly where the status of a project is. It is also easy to tell what services a client received previously.

Cons

Nothing! Software works as expected - and even better than that!

This software hasn't evolved in the 3 years I have used it (across three different companies). The reports are not-intuitive and very static - easy things I want to track as the admin are difficult to build or don't produce exactly what I need without offline manipulation. Basic functionality like filtering all tasks by project manager (not just assignee) have never been introduced.

Ease of use and operation is a key and ProWorkflow has done a good job delivering it. Software is pretty much very intuitive and user can finds his/her way operating it easily.

Cons

Looking at finished task is not as easy and often people don't know.

We have been using PWF for some years now and it is easy to use and easy to train new team members.

Pros

Being able to track dollars spent on project including time and expenses. This enables us to evaluate projects profitability and helps when setting pricing structure for future projects.

Cons

A lot of PWF teams have left and at times it is hard to find someone to help you, an email from new team member with contact details would alleviate that problem.

ProWorkflow ticks all the boxes and we have had a look at a few different Project Management systems and ProWorkflow met all our requirement; it was able to put everything we need in one place and in detail and without being overwhelming but very compressive at the same time.

Cons

Pricing because I have such a big team using ProWorkflow! Would also love it if you had a CRM module with it.

A great example of online software done right, I can't see us ever moving to anything else!

Pros

As a long time Basecamp customer, we had been looking for the "next step" for several months but held off because of concerns that our users would struggle with a new system. We came across ProWorkflow through a recommendation and signed up for a free trial (just like Basecamp). There was a lot more to it than we expected but the support was great, with useful training videos and REAL people on the phone! It's a big leap ahead of Basecamp and in the few months we've been using ProWorkflow, we've been really impressed at the speed of development. A few of my team are also using the iPhone app (which is free, take note 37signals!!) and love it. Support has continued to be terrific, the team have helped us with any questions and go far beyond what I would expect.

Cons

Coming from Basecamp, the interface is busier but with more features I suppose that is unavoidable. There are some occasions where 2-3 windows are used when 1 would do the job but I'm assured that this is being worked on and the developers haven't let us down so far. Otherwise, it's hard to pick fault with!

ProWorkflow has been useful in tracking timeline/due dates for all of our projects, notifying all necessary team members at the start of a project, and helping us keep track of when it's time to invoice.

Pros

The ability to divide projects into categories and the activity timeline on the home page.

Cons

When you make a change to a project, I wish it did a better job of identifying the change in the update that's sent out to the team assigned to the project.

ProWorkflow does the job of capturing crucial data for our company. Visually it really needs an overhaul, especially since it is marketed to creative firms. Reports that are with clients need to be visually attractive and easy to understand. The entire UX needs some thought and work. There is room for improvement.

Pros

It is fairly easy to use and has some good options to customize

Cons

The entire reporting section is not very intuitive and is visually not very attractive.

Pros

Everything in the one place, great for projects containing multiple jobs. We attend to particular projects from 1 to 5+ times, can view everything, to supervisors to invoicing and the message function is also great to keep a track of communications between builders and also staff. Uploading photos to each job has saved us on several occasions Fast and easy to use for all employees via the app or in the office.

Cons

Nothing yet, so far so good. Always informing us or additional features that have been added There was one particular report I was trying to create, currently not available. Support staff said it is the making and gave an alternate in the mean time

For well over a year, I searched for a PM system that had all of the features I was looking for, with excellent "reporting capabilities" being one of them. I tried everything. ProWorkFlow offers a clean, easy to setup system that in incredibly robust. Our company has chosen the higher plan because of additional features and use it constantly. Their support, both pre-sales and post sales is BEYOND EXCELLENT.

Pros

The best support I've ever encountered in online software. Easy to setup, once you take time to understand it. Excellent reporting tools Time clock for task timing Budgeting for tasks Granular categorization for better reporting

Cons

I'm not going to lie, I wish it was a little less expensive but it's worth it or I wouldn't be using it.

Our company uses PWF every day to track project process, time spent, and send messages about status and questions. It's really helpful for staying organized, knowing who is assigned to what task, and seeing how long you spent to tell if you're over/under budget for time.

Easy to use, easy to learn, keeps track of little details that might otherwise fall through the cracks.

It is very understandable & logical to use. The information can be archived. The calendar view is a plus.

Cons

This is a small thing - when I create a template and copy it to a new project, I still have to plug in the dates. They don't automatically populate, but that's probably ok.

Our company has grown up on ProWorkflow, and it has helped us scale professionally. The system can do almost everything we need it to do, and functionality is always improving. Our biggest challenge is getting people to use it instead of random google docs and iCal, but that could just be human nature.

Pros

I tried ProWorkFlow a few years ago and liked the features this app provided but found it a bit too time-consuming to learn. I recently tried it again and found that the UI had improved considerably and it's simpler to understand. There's a free trial without having to enter a credit card, great customer service, robust UI that's relatively easy to use now and lots of great features. This is a software that will grow with your business and it's suitable for medium-sized businesses and even enterprises.

Cons

The integrations available are somewhat limited and I'd love to see a CRM module added. It can be time-consuming to set up and I'm not aware of the ability to send and have contracts signed. It would be nice if you could create survey/questionnaire pages as well.

Our office runs over 100 projects at a time and it is wonderful to keep track of each project and the time invested in each one. I recommend this software for high volume firms that needs to know where they stand daily.

Pros

Simplicity of the software. It has a ton of features with a small learning curve.

Cons

Email functionality to the client can be a little cumbersome. Wish there were a few more features in this area.

I am trying to do project and program management - more than task management.

Pros

I like having access to task templates.

Cons

The software seems to be suited for task management and is very text driven. Given the fact that we will have at least 50 projects at one time, dashboards don't really help us very well and i can't drill down or up visually. I also do not like that I can't get reporting on contractors/contingent workers - we outsource all of our work, and it's impossible for our leads to get a handle on due dates without going into the details of each individual project. As a project manager, I can't see milestones or do milestone reporting (this is related to dashboards.

Pros

I started work with my current company who was already using PWF - primarily for storing contacts and notes about their accounts. We also use it for assigning tasks occasionally.

Cons

The software is very limited to what it can do and the navigation is poor. Exporting contacts for our new software had challenges - and unfortunately notes cannot be exported which created a ton of work for us. Their support team wasn't able to help me much more than I could figure out on my own.

### "Solid Project Management Tool For Larger Teams"

Pros

Tried out ProWorkFlow off a recommendation from a friend. I'm always trying new out new project management tools and trying to simplify workflow. We are a remote team and I prefer to keep everything under one roof is possible. Overall I found the product to be pretty solid, good for team communication and handling larger projects. Worth checking out.

Cons

Lots of good integrations but some of the features that were available during the free trial that I found pretty beneficial (templates & custom forms), were only a premium feature. I understand that our team is on the smaller side so some features may not be supported on the lower plans but would have been nice to have those on the mid tier plan. Overall, good software that is good for large teams handling any variety of projects with lots of deliverables.
