We've been using PWF for about 6-7 years and love it, it's easy to use with heaps of customisation. We love the templates for setting up regular similar projects. The ease and multiple ways for my team to track their time...

I use PWF as my lifeline to my business. Telecommuting 100% of the time, I need a powerful tool to coordinate activities with writers, project managers, designers and developers. PWF is that tool.

Pros

We have had very little issues with this software, and when we do the software company is on it to get it fixed. This software has met ALL our needs thus far.

Pros

This software does so much more than people realize, it is great for the entire company to use for reports, time management, billing, employee tracking.

Cons

It is sometimes difficult to reach someone for support, since this company is based in another country

Made for web designs, developers and anyone that has a lot going on! Here's a quote "Nathan and I rarely get excited about project management software but..... we are enjoying ourselves!!!!!" Proworkflow makes an easy and fun job of everything. From creating quotes, to easily converting them to projects and tasks, then creating invoices from time, quote or just on the fly. We've tried a huge list of systems over the years and in these early days I am incredibly impressed.

Pros

Feels like it was built for us - we're already saving time and energy. I like: Quotes Invoices Task and projects - we're working differently due to the software, much better in fact Messaging we have yet to use but it looks very good Xero integration is excellent! Reports I have hardly used but also look excellent

Cons

None yet! Everything is easy and clear and all the issues I have come up against have a good solution.

Our creative team needed a place to keep track of all the jobs we are working on, scoping, and pending approval. ProWorkflow allows us to do all of these things and more. We also integrated OneDrive into PWF, and it is a dream! The system gets better as we dive into more of the features. I'd be interested in some more customizations, but our team is very happy.

Pros

Simply being able to keep track of jobs, what their status is, and our team having access to check into it at any time.

Cons

The client companies cannot overlap, or you can't assign two client companies to the same project.

Pros

ProWork flow is a great tool to keep track of your employees' times.

Cons

When our company has many jobs going at the same time, the software is somewhat cumbersome to scroll through all the jobs to enter times.

For a marketing firm with jobs coming and going so quickly, you need a project management system to keep it all straight. ProWorkFlow delivers!

Pros

Easy to use. I can track my time, organize my tasks and to-do lists. Very helpful program. We are so glad we found it.

Cons

At first all the options were overwhelming, but eventually we are starting to use more and more of its capabilities. Adaptability to desktop Quickbooks would help, but not a deal breaker.

Pros

The software is jammed packed with features and is really well-thought out.

Cons

The layout can be confusing and some features are lacking. The ability to change the list view of projects to show important information (hiding/adding columns) needs to be added. The layout feels old.

It ties in well with our Finance package and auto generates job numbers etc

Cons

Cant move a popup screen off of the page your are in using Dual monitors on Windows 10, please fix it Couple of clunky things when adding contacts and Clients be good to be able to add either in either element

Proworkflow has many of the feature we are looking for in our organisation to manage resources, performance and workload. However the tool lacks many features as well and not customizable to suite the needs of our company. Some time has passed since our first review and based on the follow up review a year later, not many features have been updated/changed/added , e.g. locking of timesheets and comments , easy entry of expenses against a project, integration of calendar with Outlook.

Pros

Flow of the tool, captures all items required for Project management, budgeting, workload, etc

Cons

timesheet and expense entry way to complicated and hard on the eyes. Does not limit the resources to only see their projects they are allocated too, which makes it difficult for resources to review only their workload. Does not allow timesheets and expenses to be locked once submitted, which results in the risk of hours being edited once invoiced. Does not allow for mandatory comments against each time entry which is key for our consulting business and invoicing. Does not integrate with QuickBooks Canada online.

We only use a portion of what the software offers but for how we use it, it works for us. It gives you a nice view into how time is spent - I like the various ways to search and how accessible info is

Pros

It's easy to time track and keep a log of all current and past jobs. It was easy to get trained on and implement in my daily process

Cons

I find there to be a lot of "steps" to get where you want (having to select various things, click certain buttons, etc.) that sometimes feel extra or unnecessary

More overview of all ongoing projects, more time efficient, easier to make a year planning and thus less need to work extra hours in busy times as we are now able to plan ahead.

Pros

Overview of all ongoing projects, easy to handle different requests from various users, can work with multiple users/projectmanagers/requests at the same time.

Cons

You can't easily re-plan/move tasks in the weekly overview by drag/drop to different days. Super unhandy. You don't see the amount of hours planned per person in total (only possible to see amount of hours planned within a special project). This would make overbooking much more easy to solve.

Pros

It generates project numbers, it's pretty user friendly. We like how we are able to track projects efficiently.

Cons

It would be nice if the timeline could be exported into an excel spreadsheet as a gant chart. It would also help if we could have artwork proofed in the system so multiple users can proof the artwork without having to have a login. We also would find it beneficial if we could enter individual item numbers and attach them to their respective UPC/barcode numbers We want the option to not have to include time, since this isn't a feature we use. We should be able to disable it and have it not display at all. When I am on the projects page/dashboard, I should be able to hide/minimize customer projects that I don't want to see. You are able to do this, but when you leave the page and return, the list is once again extended. It would help if we could save our own view of the dashboard to show only what we want displayed.

Good customer support. It is quite nice tool for solo working as well as team collaboration.

Cons

It would be great, if data to be automated. Notification field is on its weaknesses. you need to be tagged, if you want to notified about new action.

PWF has helped us in supporting the Projects we have conduction with our customers. communication has been easier, and the project follow up is easy. tasks are easy to manage but drawback is they are too simple some times to get a good view on some activities.

Pros

Projects info container is good enough for a closed project managing projects in PWF is not extra work but embedded in the workflow so reporting is accurate resource management gives some indications about the availability of staff easy to use, on boarding users is simple. videos / support are very efficient

Cons

Tasks are too simple and need to be adapted to incorporate more options

Pros

It's ease of use and intuitive nature. I also love that it was able to be customized to my needs.

Cons

The report function does not do EXACTLY what I want, but I was able to do an acceptable work around.

Cons

Terrible integration with Xero, a lot of double handing, inflexible invoices & quotes. Quotes & invoices look unprofessional. Outdated, expensive & glitchy.

I would recommend ProWorkflow for any small to medium sized business that doesn't want to waste their time trying to reinvent the wheel that ProWorkflow has so beautifully shaped and crafted. We went through a slew of other solutions before settling on ProWorkflow and I couldn't be happier.

Pros

ProWorkflow is super feature rich. It does all I could want and so much more. I've been managing my companies account for well over a year now, and I definitely still feel great about the product. We have added quite a few employees since starting to use the product and it hasn't slowed us down at all. Overall ProWorkflow is an awesome time management solution, and I don't think I could ask for much more in a single service.

Cons

Sometimes the vast array of features can make me feel a little lost. There are really prominent features that I don't use much if ever... There are probably easy ways to turn these off, but I just haven't felt like taking the time to figure all that out! Overall the pros far outweigh the cons.

We love the way you can setup ongoing tasks and projects. the interfae is Ok

We can't run some reports we'd like. too many choices that makes it hard to navigate

Pros

I really like to collaborative effort of tracking hours, adding files, and communicating about a specific job, on that job.

Cons

We work with a lot of independent contractors that we would like to give them more ability inside the job but find that we would need to add them as an employee to do so.

We're in England, they are in New Zealand and despite the time delay the customer service is excellent.

Pros

Ease of use; logical interface; easy to explain to freelancers; incentive for clients to take us on; always mentioned/used for Statement of Works; Makes my life easier!

Cons

Cost, unfortunately this is the most expensive SaaS that we use. And making payment by cheque is not the most convienent.

Pros

I like the multiple levels of tasks and projects. The reporting is very good and easy to use and create custom reports, project templates are great and make setting up multiple projects easy and fast.

Cons

Task view and time view coud have better views and filters, wish I soud start a work week on Sunday rather than Monday, tasks should automaticly have teh project details associated with them in all views, otherwise projects that use templates end up with a lot of tasks with the same name. You should be able to complete projects without ticking off all tasks (Some tasks may be optional or not relevant)
