It definitely has a lot of features, I just wish they weren't so complicated. I work in an office of millennials (I'm the oldest at 33), and the interface is not as intuitive as we've come to expect from other software we interact with on a daily basis. In my opinion, a revamp of the UI would make ProWorkFlow grow leaps and bounds. Pros What I like most about this software is the ability to maintain hourly budgets alongside managing project milestones. Cons My least favorite part about this software is the reports. It is difficult to find the data I need. Additionally, each item takes much more steps than I prefer. Simplyfiying the process would be a great help. Review Source MD Melissa D. Ability for clients to access and ad pending jobs. Track tasks and deadlines easily. Understand staff workloads and time spent to accurately capture costs. I found it to be a pretty useful tool. I must say, customer service is spot on excellent. The dashboard is brilliant, a useful visual took from where you can guide your daily activities according to whichever project/task is due. However, the client interface is slightly outdated and not what I would call user friendly. Some features are a bit clunky and data importing can be slow. I've compared this product with others after having used it for a while and found that other tools do a better job. However, depending on your budget, this may actually be a good enough tool. Pros Timesheets are excellent, very useful at managing time spent with clients. I found this tool to be most useful as it helped our business visualise our time management and review our prices accordingly.The Time Tracket Widget is a pretty cool tool, works well on both Mac and Windows. Cons Recurring tasks has been an issue that we struggled with. It would help having more options for managing such recurring monthly tasks instead of creating a multitude of tasks - which is very time consuming and clunks up your dashboard. April 17, 2018 5.0 Pros The ease and customisation options. Clean and clear view dashboards and flexibility has been great. Reporting along with Gantt charts makes management meetings a lot smoother, covering both a visual and list views makes it dynamic for a range of different staff working styles. The ProWorkflow team have been extremely engaged and supportive in helping to install the software and really set us up with a runway for success. Cons The inability to be able to select clients across multiple projects/categories. I find having multiple log ons for clients very clunky and think this is a big flaw. Would also love the options to colour code tasks and establish tasks as milestones. More dependency visuals would be helpful on the gantt. Pros Ease of use once the project plans are complete. The ability to attached documents to a specific task is a nice touch. Cons The very repetitive nature of setting up a project plan, the software is not very mature in this area. There is no automation in assigning a starting date from the template and having the plan populate you dates based on the task duration in the template. No ability to plan out all tasks and dates in excel type software then import. The mobile phone app will not allow you to make tasks as complete, this is a major issue for those who really want buy in from their contractors! I tried effortlessly, but kept getting error messages. I honestly thought Proworkflow had gone bankrupt! They still billed me for not providing a service!! " July 14, 2016 5.0 It originally started as a tool for our design team so that we could manage all incoming project requests. Previously, we were working with an excel sheet and were having problems seeing the bigger picture. If we received a project that was high priority with a short deadline, it was difficult to see what work could be reorganized to get things done. PWF gives us the opportunity to see everything going on and we've actually started using it for our entire marketing and product development team. It's opened up communication and provided a central place for everyone to receive and provide updates so that we are more aligned with events and product launches. Pros I love the ability to see everything that is going on within our team. Cons The only thing we'd change is making it easier to push dates on tasks collectively when an entire project shifts on our timeline. Excellent team integration, integration of financial and accounting software, but the best benefit for our purpose was the time tracking tool. We often track billable hours, but due to the nature of our small team, we would "guesstimate". This tool allowed us to track within the software, which assisted with the accuracy of our invoicing. Unfortunately our team decided against any PM software altogether (wasn't in the budget that time around, nothing we could do), but agreed that if we were to go back to considering any, we would start with proworkflow. Cons For our situation, definitely the cost. It would be ideal if a program this great was cost-effective for a 3-person team.
