This allows our customers an option to pay online when they preciously didn't have that.

Pros

It is very simple to use and easy to navigate. I like the reports that are provided and the notifications that you received when payments are made or rejected.

Cons

You can't prevent payments from being made to you. So if you no longer have a customers account, you can't provide that information so when a customer tries to make a payment on that account it would advise them they can't accept or to call their company.

My overall experience with Fortis has been great. From day one, I felt supported by a team that genuinely cares about its users and is committed to delivering a reliable payment solution. Anytime an issue arose—whether it was a question, technical hiccup, or billing concern—their responsiveness stood out. They were quick to address errors, take ownership, and provide clear solutions without making the process feel stressful or complicated. That level of accountability built trust and made me feel confident in the platform. While no system is perfect, Fortis consistently demonstrated a willingness to listen, correct problems, and improve the user experience, which ultimately made working with them a positive and worthwhile partnership.

Pros

What I appreciated most about Fortis was how seamlessly it integrated with the Genesis EHR platform. The implementation process was far easier than expected, which significantly reduced onboarding time and minimized disruption to our office workflow. Fortis seemed to understand the unique needs of chiropractic practices, providing clear guidance, intuitive setup steps, and responsive support throughout the process. Instead of spending hours troubleshooting or learning complicated systems, our team was able to adopt the platform quickly and confidently. This ease of implementation allowed us to focus on patient care rather than technical challenges, making Fortis a valuable addition to our operations.

Cons

The biggest drawback I experienced with Fortis was the lack of clarity around what I was actually paying for. Over time, I realized I was being charged for services and features that exceeded what I was using, yet there wasn’t a proactive system or point of contact checking in to ensure my plan still matched my needs. It felt like I was overspending without knowing it, which led to some frustration. However, once I discovered the discrepancy and brought it to their attention, the team was very willing to correct the issue and make things right, which I genuinely appreciated. Still, clearer communication and periodic account reviews would have prevented this from happening in the first place.

They would not be my first choice when choosing a payment processor. After much due diligence there are a handful of others are that are more capable and have API integration.

Pros

We have no pros on this product except that the sales lady was fantastic. Other than that we can't comment on this aspect of the product.

Cons

Lack of customer service and flexibility after it was found that their product could not perform to the level that was promised prior to the contract being signed. We tried to reach out to fortis to resolve the issue but came across roadblocks that prevented us form using their product.

Reason for choosing Fortis

I thought that they had good customer service but it was 24 -72 hours after purchase that they lacked in this area. The sales lady was amazing and went above and beyond to help but in the end we were not able to use the service.

Pros

I can easily refund and run credit cards in a timely fashion. I have to enter information in less fields compared to old system we used to have. There is a po field and a description field we can enter detailed information in to help customer match up receipts on their end. Credit Card Receipts are automatically emailed to customer, leaving you one less step you have to do. This software does not let you duplicate customer information when setting up a customer to run their credit card. Customer service has a quick response time. Via messenger or email, if you ever need to use them. System automatically batch's out at the end of the day.

Cons

I can say the only thing I noticed and am sure there is a reason behind it is that we have to manually delete any expired credit card information in this system.

I wish that checks were ran live like credit card and debit cards are instead of batching them for the end of the night

We wanted a more robust ACH platform for our customers. Omni delivered this better than any other company could and spent time educating us on how this process really works.

Pros

The software it's self is wonderful. the amount of reporting you can pull is truly unmatched by any other ACH platform we have ever worked with. One of the best features is the dashboard. It seems to already be showing you the answers to the questions you have in your head. Wonderful software. But perhaps the best part is the support. The staff is some of the most helpful honest people you can find int eh industry. The representatives have helped tremendously with setting us up correctly and holding our hand while we integrate into the system and start using it.

Cons

I do not really have much to say in this respect. We love everything about it. the one report that I wanted to run but couldn't Stacy built for us. GREAT COMPANY

Easy to use, multiple users, ACH and Credit Card transactions all in one place - clients can have multiple forms of payment, Customer look up excellent, Customer Data Base excellent, we not only use the software but we resell it.

Cons

Wish it linked up to QuickBooks on line, other then that it is a great software product, we use it for our company and we resell it.

It is very user friendly. It keeps records of customer usage.

Pros

The ease of use and customer recall for repeat users is a very nice feature. The ability to store and recall customer information is helpful as some of our customers provide multiple credit cards for the same account. The printed receipt is very clear and organized.

Cons

It is confusing trying to understand what the fees are for each transaction. I am the finance manager and I am still somewhat in the dark concerning the all the fees.

The reports page is great when reconciling weekly payments. I also enjoy ease of entering cards/payments.

Cons

Sometimes it is tricky to look up past payments with the search tool if you don't know when that payment was made.

Pros

This product is easy to use. I can add or change information at any time. A second window pops up when you sign in which I do not understand why. I can sign in fairly quickly.

Cons

It takes too long to clear the bank. I might put a charge through on Thursday or Friday. It doesn't clear until Wednesday. I would also like to be able to save a standard message to the customer instead of writing it every time...like a Thank you for your business. On the receipt, I would like to see the Company name as well as the person's name.

We like knowing the information is in the "cloud" not on any of our paperwork or files.

Pros

The ease of processing the cards, love that you save the information on each client. I also like that 3 of us have access to the software, we are an office furniture dealership, we have product delivered everyday, its nice that either one of us can process the payment.

We get to bill our clients with ease.

Pros

Omnifund is easy to use. It stores customer information so I don't have to reenter credit card numbers over and over again. I love the reports that I can print. I love how easy it is to use.

I hate having to login every time but other than that i love the software so much. It is so easy to use.
