Customer Support

Pros: We have been using CommonSpot for over 5 years. It is a very easy to use, and very flexible CMS. It has both a rich feature set for Marketers (personalization, SEO management, video, social media, vanity URL, just to name a few) as well as developers (over 2,000 method API).

PaperThin also provides a hosted version in the CommonSpot Cloud.

Comments: I have used this software in the past to help maintain a website and it was a major headache to use. It is based on Coldfusion and that alone makes it very difficult to work with since it is a dated language that most people do not have experience with. On top of that there were many issue with having multiple users in the system editing at the same time and we were never truly free to do what we wanted with the system. Even adding/removing pages from menus required developer knowledge and made things very hard to deal with. That being said the team who runs the product is very friendly and they were willing and able to help most of the time. I just wish you didn't have to contact them to do some pretty minor edits, layout wise that are a breeze in other CMS systems.
