### "Feedback on Negative Sales Approach & Strategy"

When I initially inquired about the product, the sales representative assured me that a trial period would be available, which significantly influenced my decision to consider the software for my landscape and pool construction company. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn that the trail period was not provided, contrary to my understanding. Consequently, I found myself in a situation where I inadvertently signed an agreement that I did not fully comprehend, resulting in an unforeseen financial commitment of $8,000. This experience has been quite frustrating, and I strongly advise potential customers to conduct comprehensive due diligence before finalizing any agreements.

Pros

While my experience with RealGreen by Workwave was marred by factors related to the sales tactics, threatening demand letters, the software itself presented itself with several potential advantages that may have benefited me and other users. In my case, I never had the opportunity to truly review and weigh the software's capabilities as I was pushed into a decision, I never meant to make without a trial period. It is important for prospective users to weigh these pros (or cons) against their specific needs and to consider the overall reputation of the company, and the sales tactics they employ, when making a decision.

Cons

From the onset, I clearly communicated my desire for a trial period entering into any long-term commitment. Despite this, I was urged to sign a one-year agreement, which was contrary to my initial request. Following this, I received a legal demand letter from the company's legal representation, requiring immediate payment or threatening further action. To avoid any complications, I ultimately paid the amount requested ($8000) recognizing my oversight in this matter.

### "No Response from Programming"

I had been holding out moving to SA5 for a year because I heard of these issues from a friend who had already switched and wasn't happy with these 2 specific changes, He had already been asking the company to make these 2 upgrades for a year, and now I have been asking for a year, and still nothing. This company does not care about their users!

Pros

I have used Realgreen SA4 since 2008 and was extremely happy with it. The software was easy to use and look at which is important for a greens industry pro who is not computer literate.

Cons

In 2024 I was forced into the upgraded SA5 which is not intuitive, and they have dropped some features which I NEED, the ability to use letterhead in emails and the ability to send an attachment with an emailed letter, both of which are common sense.

### "SA5 Bootcamp "

Overall experience in Sa5 bootcamp was great. Confirming items we knew and gathering tricks we didn’t know.

Pros

We like the ease of entering and setting up a clients way profile, services after the initial set up is completed.

Cons

Working with credit card fees. Having to add them into the service price and not being able to separate from check paying clients.

Generally real green is very user friendly and works well for our company.

Pros

I like the fact that real green is versatile and can be used for almost every task for our company

Cons

Sometimes real green has its flaws. Ie prepay letters not matching prepay amount, charging for each measuring license while also not offering a monthly license option. If a company has one measuring license, you should let them purchase a second one at a monthly rate.

Pros

Ease, user accessibility, keeping all of our clients in one place, sales in one place and great reports

Cons

Mobile live was slow for a while but they are getting it together and much better now

Pros

Flexible platform for our franchise system. Good customer service teams and friendly employees.

Cons

Data services are expensive and slow. Need more developers. Leadership needs to align on priorities. Lots of ala carte pricing adds up.

It has been great to work with this company, besides the bugs they seem to always want to help when there is a problem. The conference put on each year is also exciting as it opens up learning experiences for me and staff that comes with us as well as networking opportunities.

Pros

Real green is easy to navigate and i like the features of having all the reports to check on the status of our company.

Cons

The bugs that happen that cause outages and downed business time.

No customer service at all. Real Green tech support is terrible

Pros

Real green is good for maintaining your customer base

Cons

Our company could utilize Real Green so much more if they had good customer support. When you call tech support most on the techs have no idea how to solve your issue. My account manager is new and has not helped us or retrieved information we have requested. All Real Green wants to do is send you short videos so you resolve issues your self. They raise their prices each year and charge for services that use to be included. They constantly market additional services to us when the can’t really manage the services they already offer. We are probably only utilizing about 50% of what the software could actually do. They are really good about billing you every month first of the month at 12 midnight. Money seems to be what drives Real Green not customer service.

The overall experience has been very positive. Great automation. Great support. And Great where you all are headed.

Pros

What I like most is how it has helped our business grow and to schedule, invoice, and record services. We are able to have higher customer satisfaction and become a more transparent business. Also the RealGreen Community & Tech Support has become 100% better since 2020 when I started working with RealGreen. Cheers!

Cons

There is so much I haven't explored yet with automation but that is my fault and how busy I've been as office manager. Looking forward to setting up more automation. Not really any complaints.

Realgreen mobile does not provide everything I need to manage customers while in the field. I need to be able to set up autopay and do estimates through the app.

Best green industry program on the market hands down! Best scheduling/routing system. This makes scheduling hundreds of stops per day much more efficient.

Cons

Real green has a lot of quirks, but expect that is normal for software that does so much.
