Kept accurate track of inventory and was very cost effective

Pros

This software is easy to use and very user friendly. We've tracked as many as 40 items and it was very helpful in ensuring proper management of all items.

Cons

You have to buy multiple licences to use on different computers. You're supposed to be able to login from another computer to the server system if you only have one license but it never worked.

I downloaded the free trial and worked diligently with it to ensure it would meet the needs of our company. Our company selected to utilize the program and went ahead to purchase it. An email arrived with instructions to "Login" with the license information. This information was completely wrong and although multiple people looked to make this login work, the instructions appear to be wrong. When you purchase the software, they advertise that you can receive 1 year of support. Attempts to contact the company to resolve the above issues resulted in "Sorry we missed you, we are closed at this time." This happened at 9:45am. Unfortunately I will get my money returned and move on to another option.

We have been using InFlow for many years. Overall InFlow is a good software, but the licensing is much to be desired for small companies. If you have 1-3 people in your business, I would stay away from InFlow as it will cost you a fortune to purchase not to mention maintain. For example, I am a 1 person operation who is selling online. I have a computer in my office and a computer in my shop. I process payments and orders in my office, then I go out to my shop and package and ship orders. Since you are not allowed to run InFlow on 2 computers at the same time, unless of course you pay another $399 per license, I have to remember to shut InFlow off in my office before I go out to my shop otherwise it don't work. I find myself having to write everything down on paper when I forget to shut inflow off, I am a single user so I should not have to shut it down to use it on another computer within my organization, that's not what inventory management is supposed to be about. If your business has 1-5 people, I would highly recommend that you look at other versions before purchasing InFlow, even the big commercial ERP programs are less expensive overall and have far more features.

### "Great Option for a Small Business"

The software is pretty good. I have issues with how it's set up by default, so if you have dodgey internet, right after install you'll have to make the database available off-line. Very intuitive, but the programming is a little tricky and if you ask the support team to help with renaming fields or making adjustments to the software all they'll do is forward documents so you can do it yourself, which I think is pretty piss poor. Otherwise it's fine, stable, and affordable.

Pros

We can easily monitor our inventory in terms of raw materials, work-in progress, finished goods and accessories. We can make necessary adjustments or orders with the help of this software. Thank you inflow.

Cons

We are only using it for months and so far no issue or glitch being encountered. Minor issue like lagging and crashing which is also significant to other software.

Pros

How easy it is to make POs and save them as PDFs or Excel documents to provide to vendors. Additionally I like being able to personalize details of the POs and order forms.

Cons

It would be nice if taking stock was a little easier and could therefore be used for inventory counts at the end of a fiscal year by having costs included. This section of the software can be frustrating to use.

Love the program so far. I'm an office manager for a doctor's office and we sell vitamins and it was easy loading our inventory and it's made it a lot easier to track what comes in and what is sold. Customer support has been great answering our questions as well.

Pros

Easy to set up and maintain. I like the dashboard feature a lot.

Cons

Was a bit difficult to adjust inventory as I was setting it up. Wasn't clear on how to adjust something without starting over. The reports could be a bit more user friendly. Took me a while to figure out how to find the ones I wanted.

I have used Inflow at a previous job and when I started this job and they asked for my recommendation I suggested it partly because I already knew how to use it but also because I knew that it would be easy to integrate into our already existing business. Not only is Inflow easy to use, but I find there's just enough customization available that it's essentially plug and play and very little set up involved other than entering basic company information and adding inventory.

Pros

Ease of use and just enough customization that you can make it your own without hours of setup time.

Cons

When initially setting up inventory I was unable to find a way to import new products from excel and simultaneously include the inventory, I found that it needed to be done in two different steps which wasn't ideal.

Overall quite easy to use, enter parts, create work orders, prepare shipments, etc. We use this on a daily basis and it works very well. Customer service is very good and responsive to suggestions or bug reports. The one function that I definitely miss is to be able to plan purchases in the future based on future needs, for example on a month-by-month basis. The fact that a planned delivery several months out already shows items as being unavailable now is irritating, and not having visibility over what is to come is a big drawback. Also, it would be nice to be able to plan shipments against a PO in several lots, rather than having to create multiple individual sales orders. Formatting PDF documents needs to be more flexible and simpler to do. In particular the column widths don't make sense some of the time. Email integration to Outlook is a must! Right now we have to save the PDF and then go to Outlook to send the email with the attached file. It should also be possible to delete items that are no longer needed (e.g. that have been deactivated) or that were created in error.

We have been using InFlow inverntory software since 2007 and it has proven to be the most reliable, user-friendly, and costs saving software tool to manage our inventory, sales and purchase all together. Tough we are Linux users, we have been working InFlow software on a virtual machine without any problem. We have been spreading the word about the huge benefits InFlow Inventory software offers to any businness, wether it is a small business or a large one. Even the free version offers a marvelous solution for small or medium sized business. It's user intuitive, its learning curve is smooth and anyone with a small training can use it properly. Add to the later, that you can find lot of help from training materials provided by "InFlow Team", as well as the helps and tips form the users community. Simply put: An amazing tool to make purchase orders, quotations, inventory management, business analisys and evaluation, and a lot more! One glaring omission inFlow has is that if the inFlow servers go down, you're down. Regardless of how much you paid for your "Premium License". The software pings the licensing server for inFlow each time you log in to allow you the functinality you've paid for. In the event their server is down, you are SOL. I'm in this position right now. So please rethink your commitment to inFlow based on this scenario. If you're just dabbling in a business then go for it; in the event that you need to access your software and the functionality you paid for - beware.

We are a small, rapidly growing business. We needed to do something about our inventory management. But we didn't want too much. We just wanted the necessities. We found that in inFlow. Everything you need--and nothing you don't. It took us weeks of looking to finally come across inFlow. Every other package we downloaded and tried either 1) didn't really do very much or 2) seemed to require a CS degree to use. inFlow is very "user friendly," as they used to say. Intuitive is a good word. Organized well. Makes sense to me as a small business owner. I mean, how hard is it to come up with a software package that lets you keep track of what you have in inventory, the velocity it's going out, and alert you when you need to reorder--without a whole bunch of other "noise"? It doesn't seem like rocket science. But as far as we could find, inFlow is alone in this space. And when we had an issue with restoring a backup, customer service was great! Cassandra helped me. She was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. She got me back on track within a few minutes. We. Love. inFlow.

Ease of use, saved me time, helps me breeze through taxes, calcaultes cost of inventory, this software saved me. Just 2 days before taxes were due. I plugged in all my receipts and calculations from the past 3 years and inflow perfectly gave me back the numbers I needed to finish my taxes. And the calculations even matched the previous years I had filed. So i knew it was perfect.

Pros

The user interface lets you get so much more done with less clicks, I've tried out other inventory solutions and can say InFlow is just the best.

Cons

When creating a purchase order, you cannot enter the subtotal of a product and have inflow automatically calculate the cost per item. You have to calculate it yourself, and when you do inflow only stores the last few digits after the decimal point so if you put $0.0003338 inflow will store maybe $0.0003 which makes the calucations off. And after you mark the purchase order as paid and go back to it later, it'll re-calculate automatically and start asking you to "pay the remainder". This is what breaks inflow.

During my business life I have worker with many so called accountancy, stock reconciliation software so good, some poor and some just plain rubbish all being very expensive and most being less than customer friendly. When I started my own company some two years ago I wanted a straight forward software programme that would provide me with all the information that I would need to run my business without costing a arm and a leg and at the same time I did not have to have a degree in software management. I came across Inflow when searching the web, I tried if, loved it and it have become a trusted tool for running my business. If there is a problem it is caused by the time difference between here in the UK and Canada. If I need answers to a question I have to wait to Canada wakes up. You can go to their helpful website. I must say that customer services a very helpful and answered my emails as soon as possible. My opinion: A great product 9.99 out of 10. Terry Large Owner: TFL Supplies

Custom purchase order or any other custom documents cant be saved directly to different format (eg Pdf) unless opened in word and then saved manually. The email set up does not really works if the email id is company based and not standard

After searching through a plethora of different invoicing and inventory systems, all of which either didn't have the features we required, or were a custom designed system and ridiculously expensive, I stumbled across this little beauty. A simple interface which makes it quick and easy to train my team to use it efficiently, coupled with the advanced inventory features like FIFO or Moving Average pricing make this product one of the best investments our company has ever made (besides hiring me!). Although it didn't have absolutely everything we required in terms of reporting or support for GST at the time of purchase, because of it's design it was quite a simple workaround for me to design a custom reporting solution which actually made me love this product even more. Also, the few times i have required any customer support, the customer support team have just been fantastic. Super quick and efficient with their responses.

Very early days at the moment but for pure tractability of products its a winner.

Pros

Ease of use. Only able to purchase the on-premise version at the moment but it was really easy to install and setting our main pc as a server allowing all other pc's in the building read only access .

Cons

Nothing so far. Discounts for more licenses would be appreciated.
