A college recommended inflow so we demoed for 30 days then implemented it. It is working well for us. Pros The software was easy to load, setup and put to use. All of which were dealer software or subscription software. Inflow presents an intuitive easy to use product in a great package and with a low one time purchase price! As a drilling company we deal with a wide range of products and parts across our spectrum of equipment. Inflow's modular setup and flexible data entry allows me to easily divide and conquer the inventory control war. Quick online support with answers to even the smallest problems is great. Apart from its great functionality, Inflow's support team is completely relieable an committed to solving any issue you may experience. Reports are also a great feature of this software. It has been developed well enough to cover any business' need of inventory information. Cons It turns a bit slow sometimes. Now that I have a better comprehension of databases in general, I'm really glad I went with this software. I did a trial for another POS system built specifically for my type of business and found it too confusing and counterintuitive. InFlow does flow much better (no pun intended). There's is so much useful info I can get from Inflow and tons of different reports I can use. It's been a life saver!! This is my first retail business, so ease of use is very important to me. Not only do I have to understand the program myself, but I need to be able to teach my staff how to use it. I'm impressed with how quickly they can catch on to it. Accounting Manager/Inside Sales Used the software for: ### "Dependable Bread and Butter Program" November 13, 2015 4.0 Pros: clean layout, easy to update, user friendly purchase order and sales order setup, multiple ways of tracking and reviewing product/customer history, dependable program for everyday use, quick, friendly, and thorough customer service responses, active community of users to share and solve issues (and issues do get solved!), you get benefits out of the program in proportion to the information that you put into it. Cons: not able to change product type (non-stocked/stocked), could use a more intuitive and detailed accounting aspect before this becomes your main accounting program, inventory menu options seem too segregated (it would be easier if checking stock, adjusting stock, setting up new categories was on all one screen or condensed, however there are links to each action from the main inventory screen) Review Source DM Dwayne M. Used the software for: ### "Inflow has been easy to use and has worked great for our small business" November 13, 2015 5.0 Inflow has allowed us to track our inventory, more easily track our purchase orders and invoices to customers. I love the feature that I can email an invoice to a customer right from inflow. The only cons would be that you can't print the bill to address on a packing slip which can be confusing to our customers at times. Inflow previously had the option to enter the tracking number for an order but that went away with the new version unfortunately. We have an inventory sheet that we use to transfer products from our warehouse to different locations i.e., service vans, install vans. A lot of competitors products have endless grey screens and software which seems to have been adapted from massive clunky old programs, inFlow seems to have been freshly designed from the ground up and it shows. It is quick to learn how to use, a couple of days learning it and you are away. It works well for POS too so barcode scanners, tills etc integrate well. It has saved me a load of time to get on with the business rather than tapping away at the keyboard for hours to keep up. I'd recommend it if you are a small business looking for a stock control/POS program and can't afford the prices of the big (expensive) players. Review Source Mohit G. We have over 800 SKUs to keep track of and inFlow helps us keep tabs on all that inventory. The program is easy to set-up and use right from the start. Eventually I would like to take advantage of more features that the program offers - looking forward to viewing inFlow Academy. One definite shout out is customer service. It is superb. Any time there is a glitch, or a problem, tech support responds quickly with answers/instructions even a non-techie like myself can understand. Keeping track of inventory is very detailed, and this works well. Cons Unfortunately, my company is pretty unique and the inventory system didn't work for tracking. Would love to see a cloud version with options to integrate with other software or even our ecommerce website. The UI could do with a bit of modernising as well but in all fairness we are still on an earlier version at this stage. One of the better inventory options we came across for the price point. It has loads of features but in order to allow those features to work across all cases, some functionality has been sacrificed. We are very happy with the software however one big let down is the way it handles bills of materials, the reporting of multi-level BoMs is severely lacking, forcing us to resort to Excel spreadsheets for overall costs of assemblies with up to 16 levels and a number of other functions we require. That being said the software is otherwise incredibly easy to use and saves us so much time and the customer service is second to none!
