July 22, 2025 5.0 I would recommend this software to anyone looking to track depreciation on a regular basis and have a fixed asset listing complete with purchase/service dates, etc. Pros was very easy to install and very user friendly to use. It is particularly great for smaller organizations that cannot afford the high cost of asset software. The customer service was also exceptional and there was a complete user guide and also help offered through email and support when needed. Cons It does have the look of older software programs but the functionality is not compromised. Function over style is always a consideration. Compare to other products it's good value for the price. Cons Please add a way to duplicate a project in the CIP module. For example if we buy 20 laptops, it would be nice if I could create the first one and duplicate it 19 more times. For example, you can enter 1 laptop asset and use the Copy Asset function to make 19 copies that you can edit instead of entering each one from scratch. The software helped tremendously when we acquired multiple companies. I was able to load the newly acquired companies assets at fair value in minutes. Pros is easy to use, has good reporting tools, and is affordable. It is also very helpful during audits. Cons The support is on a different time zone which makes it difficult to connect. However, the chat can also be helpful when in need. It also makes me nervous how easy it is to change data and delete the database. For this reason, I have restricted use to many people. It was a great solution for us to move to from our previous software and saved us money. Pros The reporting is very easy to use and provides all the data I need to make General Ledger entries and keep track of all my fixed assets. Cons When entering in a new fixed asset there are so many fields we do not use. If we were able to customize those screens for just what we need that would be great. We work in municipal accounting, so a lot of the tax depreciation features are not relevant to what we are doing. The training videos take time to view and understand so it is still an ongoing process. The price is reasonable. Pros Able to store large amounts of detail with many fields to choose from. It is a robust program and can be very valuable if we can learn how to use it effectively. Cons Not enough training and sometimes difficult to use and understand. We also offer custom online training for a very reasonable rate. Please call 800-966-7797 to schedule a training session. You can hide all the Tax fields and other fields you are not using in the Quick Add form. For storing data, you don't have to store it on a desktop pc. We switched from tracking depreciation in an excel to tracking it here. It is very help when making a disposal that it generates the journal entry for you. Customer support provided excellent support and recommendations when I reached out. Live chats, phone calls, or emails are available when help is needed. There are comprehensive training modules to walk you through setup to implementation which are easy to follow. Pros First and foremost, ease of use and affordability are two major factors in my rating. The customer support ranks high because of availability and knowledge of the staff. I like the ability to track CIP projects separately, which my old software didn't offer. The import of data from old to new was a painless process. Cons So far, I haven't encountered any dislikes with the software. This is my first year using and I haven't found any lack of reporting issues or support. Pros Precise Depreciation Calculations: This is a core strength. is consistently lauded for its ability to accurately calculate depreciation using a wide array of methods (including MACRS, GAAP, ACRS, and user-defined methods) and for multiple sets of books (Financial, Federal Tax, State Tax, AMT, ACE). It automatically updates all relevant books when an asset is entered, reducing the chance of discrepancies. Cons The interface feels "dated" or less modern compared to newer, cloud-based software solutions.
