Pros Fixed Asset Pro is very easy to use. It allows for quick data entry and easy to use reports for posting and reporting results. Cons As with many software programs, it is important that you maintain your data, and over the years I have had to "purify" our database, requiring assistance from Fixed Asset Pro staff. Cons Monthly depreciation reports were not calculating correctly. Seems to be fixed. Switched from [Sage Fixed Assets](https://www.capterra.com/p/144649/Sage-Fixed-Assets/) Fixed assets were no longer included in the Peachtree software. Let me complete that missing part of doing the depreciation in the agency, without having to buy a very expensive software with many options we don't need. Pros The program does all the work, just need to feed it with the product information. You can even attach a picture of the equipment. Cons Sometimes takes time to do the calculations. I feel that the software itself could be updated but for the price I am overall happy with the product. Pros The product is somewhat easy to use. I only need it for financial straight line depreciation Cons The one feature that I feel should be improved is the export to excel function. When it exports the columns need manual fixing. I use this to send to my auditors and have to spend time fixing presentation of the report. All of the numbers are accurate. When I had an issue with a report and called support - they got back to me very quickly and resolved my problem right away. I wish other companies I deal with had such good support! Pros Software is easy to use - to add items and record disposals Cons The NBV report can be a bit confusing. When we loaded all of our assets in it was very slow. I reached out to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] who was quick to offer several solutions, which worked. Since then I have had no issues. I've used much more expensive softwares and this one is comparable for a fraction of the price. Pros This has made reporting much easier, especially year end tax reporting. It is also much easier to add and dispose of assets than it was in our previous system. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] was great to work with in implementing the program and was very helpful in answering questions. Their customer service was also very responsive when I reached out with questions. Cons Would prefer it to be cloud based, but have had no issues related to that. For a small cost, it pays for itself in saved time and labour. Recommend for anyone with a lot of depreciable assets. Pros Makes Asset Management much easier. We have a lot of assets in many different locations. We used to keep track of them on our excel spreadsheet, which was a nightmare for our accounting team. With Fixed Asset Pro, the information is in the system and the calculations are automatic. Saves our accounting team time and headache calculating and depreciating the assets. It also helps us as a management team to plan our capital asset expeditures in the coming months and years. Cons Quite an extensive setup process.
