Pros: What I like the most about this sofware is that there are so many possibilities,
Very complete software.

Cons: However, what I don't like about this software is that it is not easy to learn and to use at first.
For exemple, you need to create pick list, then print pick list, then keep the pick list number and go in the print manager to finally get the pick list... it is not efficient.

Overall: It really is a gold mine for a business. Every department can work on a single software to achieve all the goals of a company.

Pros: the ability to link PPM`s with PO`s so spare part orders are automatically ordered before a PPM is due

Cons: at times a little too complex , a large amount of features are good but at times confusing. If IFS could be simplified it would be one of the best around

Pros: All modules are connected to one another which makes it easy for consolidations. The interface is quick and licenses are assigned to users which makes the software available 24/7.

Cons: I wish there were procedures or more support because we get alot of error messages and do not know how to fix the error most of the time.

Pros: The ease at which the system can be manipulated definitely makes things easier. Being able to add notes to work orders is very handy, and easily done with this application

Cons: The hardest thing about the maintenance side is trying to find the asset ID's with in the system, also having to use multiple windows to conduct one complete action is frustrating.

Pros: IFS was a great software choice if you have multiple countries that you need to consolidate. The reporting module allows you flexibility to create reports.

Cons: There was a longer learning curve with IFS than software I have used in the past. When you are dealing with multiples entities there are many steps that you need to go through.

Pros: Many functionalities that seem to do exactly what we want. IFS looks intuitive and together with the system manual you will be able to make some small steps yourselve.

Cons: Often bad advice is received, where the IFS consultants don't even know how their own system works. This ends up in our company investigating and testing ourselves how some functionalities work. Handling of bugs by IFS is not customer friendly, and even if they admit that there is a design mistake in their software it will be unlikely for them to solve it. Another big disadvantage is the lack of a large online, open community.

Pros: Once you are comfortable working in IFS it is very easy to navigate.

Cons: I don't know if IFS was the right choice when we selected an ERP, but after the time and money invested it is what we're 'stuck' with. Our product and processes are so specialized and IFS doesn't really work well outside the box.

Recommendations to other buyers: Do a ton of research before implementation. IFS has a lot more power and uses than what we currently use it for - it isn't an easy fix. We would need to fully reimplement in order to take advantage of these other sections of IFS.

Pros: its ability to capture data and have historical records. I

Cons: the most trouble I had is searching for past data. once I got more experience it is easier.

Recommendations to other buyers: get training for your precise job. IFS can do so much and without someone teaching you it is hard to be able to be as efficient as you could be.

Pros: Includes everything from opportunity to product delivery. When implemented properly, there is no need for outside programs to encompass all aspects of your business.

Cons: Not always user friendly, too many times if you don't have real good knowledge of the areas you are working with, you don't know how to solve problems because you don't know where the missing/invalid data resides.

Recommendations to other buyers: Choose core team members that are willing to do their homework on how each functional area ties to one another

Pros: The vendor relationship is very good. I really enjoy the various user group meetings that are held. The product is fairly straight forward.

Cons: Our original implementation was rough. I don't feel like the consultants really understood our needs in order to help us move to our first ERP.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make sure that you a realistic about changing current business processes to fit the software. Without change ERP will not suit you well in most situations.

Pros: Dispatching our plumbers and merging with Quickbooks

Cons: We have spoken with several reps from Corrigo requsting to be able to scan inventory bar codes from the field instead of our having to plumbers enter each item sold by hand. This would make our system complete. Please make note of our needs.

Recommendations to other buyers: All good except not being able to scan inventory bar codes

Pros: The FSM product is very adaptable and configurable (through Business Rules & Custom Screens), which has allowed our company to take on new tasks and provide new service offerings, with minimum implementation time. This has served us well in the past, and I feel we haven't even scratched the surface yet. IFS has been wonderful to work with, great partnership and assistance where we need it.

Cons: The designed method to accomplish certain tasks does not always meet our immediate requirement or desired efficiency. We have been able to overcome this through custom screens and user defined fields, in combination with the business rules. Sometimes you have to get creative.

Recommendations to other buyers: Request a Demo, ask the experts to show you how IFS FSM can fulfill your requirements.

Pros: The product is very user-friendly, and having loads of feature for power sectors. The most important thing is that it is easy to customize and easy to learn for users.

Cons: They take too much time for resolving issues and doing customization.

Recommendations to other buyers: The main thing to look at is the cost of the product, which is very good, provided with the features in this ERP.

Comments: Our company has used IFS Applications for four years now. The user interface is unintuitive, arduous to use and navigate. When our company first switched to IFS we quickly realized as users the software was not even on par with an alpha release and it has not become better over time. The IFS company will not repair shortcomings of the software unless be pay them a hansom sum.
