Cons Updates can take a good amount of time as well as when Hotfixes are applied, a lot of the time they break other parts of the system (this has to do with some of our customs as well as options). A better design would be to have a single table with a column to identify its source.c: Data Base Column Names are inconsistent. The same field in two separate tables often have different names. If we had seen it in use, we would not have selected it.5: Very Dated Reasons for choosing Global Shop Solutions I was one of three decision makers involved with the process.Global Shop was not my choice but I supported the other two decision makers because the demo was so strong.In hindsight, the other two decision makers are farsighted and really liked the big buttons on the main navigation screen. They do give you all modules out of the box and provide free training (although it is very weak) Cons Do your research THIS IS OLD SOFTWARE. Their system's source code is written in the old language of COBAL. The user interface looks nice but I assure you this is old software! No screen functions the same we keep getting Cobal Error codes when we try to do simple tasks like enter a dollar amount into a quote. There is no continuity in the system. Keeping track of it was a lot more work. Cons Sometimes the product it’s so easy to use that it make it complicated because we were used to go around through so many steps and this is in front of us!
