I like the system overall. It is really nice to be able to access my time to track data online, and the organization of the page makes it easy to keep track of all of my separate tasks. I have noticed that a few times, the system has been a little glitchy. If I have left the page open for a while and go back to refresh it, my hours get mixed up and the amounts are not correct. It is nice that it is so easy to adjust them to get them back to the correct amount, but it is a little concerning and I worry that my hours are not always accurate.

Pros

It is easy to use and convenient.

Cons

It is sometimes a little inconsistent.

Pros

This is wonderful software to help our team keep track of time we spend on different elements of a project. Time is no longer wasted. This brings back our focus on the deadline. The integration with basecamp is phenomenal!

Cons

I think this was a good reminder for the team to not waste time. Although we enjoyed being able to see where time was spent, some team members weren't thrilled about tracking their time. That's on us and not the software, though!

Using Tick for the very first time came very naturally. Everything is intuitive and easy to navigate. Tick uses a number of methods that make time tracking for employees (and myself) very easy, which is great, when tracking hours can become a tedious task in itself.

Pros

Easy to use, functions well, nice design.

Cons

Time tracking for future dates can get confusing.

Pros

It is real easy to use and simple. Both on the computer and mobile. The mobile app by far has been my favorite.

Cons

It constantly signs me out before the 30 days the computer app allows me to be signed in. It becomes a hassle when I have a million things to do.

All tho this is develop with teams in mind i personally use to find holes in my day so that i can be more productive by using my time wisely.

Cons

With slow connections the chrome extension sometimes doesn't send the information by with doesn't sync to the cloud.

It enables my employer to keep track of the time I spend on each project.

Pros

It only takes me a couple of seconds to upload the time I spend working on various projects for a client.

Cons

Entering the time took some getting used to. For example, instead of being able to enter 1 hour and 20 minutes, I have to do a little math and enter 1.33 hours instead.

easy to see how much time i'm spending on certain projects on a daily/weekly basis

Pros

drop downs are easy to use to choose what project and task you are working on. it's pretty intuitive and easy to get a snapshot of what time you logged.

Cons

i don't like that you can't move logged time to another date - the way the system is built, it's very easy to accidentally log time in the wrong day. then you have to delete everything and start over, rather than being able to just change the date on the time logged.

Tick is great for users who are looking to track time invested in a project or task. Its also a good tool to track how employees are spending their time to complete projects.

Cons

there aren't to many cons about tick, if I had to say something I would say that it may almost be too simple with tracking time spent on projects/ tasks.

Our company uses Tick across several divisions and find the UI /UX to be great when it comes to time entry. The reporting side of things is spotty though. We are currently researching other tools that have better reporting capabilities or integrate better with 3rd party API's the can generate reports better. We would really be interested in a product that allows for the generation of a custom dashboard. Where an admin could pick from several criteria to view. Currently, pulling a report on project health is clumsy, laborious and lack features that would make our lives easier.

Pros

I like that it integrates with basecamp and that there are multiple ways to use it: app, desktop, timer, etc. which helps for different kinds of employees.

Cons

There are some challenges with reports and exporting data. I'm unsure how to export hours into excel or other formats for the reports I need to give the business owners.

I've used a few different time management softwares and have never found one that I like this much! Super helpful.

Cons

I have never liked the whole time management process and always find these programs to be tedious or hard to find features. That being said, this is the best I have found.

If you freelance or have to track your hours doing other types of work where you need a clear record of time spent, I recommend giving Tick a try.

Pros

For me, this software will be the most useful for retainer clients and other hourly projects. I don't typically work based on an hourly rate, but I plan to focus on finding monthly retainer clients this year. This software will alleviate my stress when I do.

Cons

I don't really see this as a drawback, but there's a lot to unpack with this software. But the company has how-to videos on their youtube channel. This means there is also a lot of potential with how much easier it'll be running the backend of my business.

Best time tracking system I've ever used. I'm able to easily find the projects I'm working on and enter data. As I enter data in for new projects the system creates hot links for me to quickly enter in time data for my most recent/frequently used projects/tasks. The ability to edit and review the data I've entered for the week is cleaning displayed and easy to consume. This is the only system where I haven't dreaded entering in my time.

Creating hot links for recent/frequently used projects/task. UX makes easy consumption of data entered and ease of finding features

This app is really simple and intuitive to use. I like that you can make it as specific or general as you want! The browser extension is awesome too, and makes time tracking a not out-of-the-way ordeal.

Simple, easy to use interface. Can customize it based on how specific or general you need your tracking to be. The browser extension makes it easy to access.

Cons

Some features were a little tricky to figure out at first (ex. entering times on the appropriate dates if you were trying to enter tracking for a different day).
