While there is a learning curve, by keeping our team involved with utilizing this program to its fullest capabilities, we have seen great success. Pros Great visual management features of project plans and schedules. Task tracking allows our project managers to make sure that everyone on the project team knows their specific tasks, when they're due, etc. We love the layout of the project plans, which allows for color coding and easily breaking down tasks within a larger project plan. Easily shareable with project members. Cons There is a lot to Smarsheets which can be intimidating to new users, and it's not the easiest to pick up with so many options for customization. We can do new projects for implementation, changes in the organization, or communication sheets between different department to track status. Pros I like because it is a good project management tool to track actions due by team members. It can send notifications to users when something is updated on a sheet and it can also send reminders if you would like it to. You can share sheets with multiple users and they can access online and make updates. This is real time! You can see who is in the sheet same time as you! Cons The thing is like least is using attachments in . It is nice if you aren't modifying the attachments, but in my opinion updating attachments gets tricky. We needed something that could integrate with other software like Google, O365, and Dropbox and Smartsheet came with a lot of integrations. We use Smartsheet for everything from data tracking processes to full-scale executive project dashboards. Its ability to be a solution for small needs and large needs alike has made it a go-to program for us. Pros Its similarity to Excel makes it very easy to use but also very flexible as well. Cons I can't think of anything. I'm always disappointed when I have to use another software on a project because nothing else compares. It's easy to use and easy to collaborate. It has some small features that made us stick with it. Overall I think we will continue to use it for a while. Pros We have tried various project tracking tools, and finally landed on , which is perfect for what we need. We have multiple teams, and it is easy to setup, manage, and monitor for each team's projects. It's also very easy to use even for non tech people. Cons We use to track the main projects, but for each project there are several tickets that we track using Jira. Would be nice to have some easy way to integrate 3rd party systems with smartsheet for project tracking and monitoring.
