MaximEyes.com is an all-in-one cloud-based eye care EHR, practice management, optical point-of-sale, ophthalmic image management, and patient engagement system. The software adheres to secure cloud data protection, backup, and disaster recovery by partnering with Microsoft® Azure multi-layered cloud security services. The user interface is clean, modern, and intuitive to simplify business functions that empower optometry and ophthalmology practices. The self-guided Integrated Learning Center streamlines training the experience. Exam templates can be customized to fit various workflows and types of visits. The EHR includes a modifiable rules engine that suggests or automatically posts diagnostic codes, procedure codes, and outbound documents. Overall, we are happy to have made the switch to Maximeyes.com. It is great to have an entire program from scheduling, clinical documentation, billing and claims all in one.

Pros

Scheduling is very easy and the ability to offer online scheduling is great for our practice! The reports are also very easy and fast to produce and analyze.

Cons

It was a complicated setup process. Tech support for the program is very time consuming.

Its an all in one approach to managing an optical practice. It combines patient management, optical retail and clinical functions into one platform making it easier to streamline tasks.

Slick design that looks modern. Able to free type notes. Good support. Cloud based from google chrome. All in one system for optical and medical and billing

Great experience. I would choose this program over and over again, I would recommend it to any optometry/ophthalmology practice. Everyone has been very helpful from sales, to engineers, to tech support. Couldn't ask for a better health record system.

Pros

Maximeyes.com has made it very easy to customize our software and increase efficiency of doctors and staff. Everything from scheduling, examinations, billing, and follow ups has been streamlined to make the process as easy and user friendly as it could possibly be. We have been very happy with this software.

Cons

There has not been anything that has been a problem for our practice.

Pros

Maximeyes is extremely user friendly and very customizable. We love the cutting edge technology they continue to bring to us. Customer support is second to none. The listen to any concerns and address our needs timely.

Cons

We have no complaints about maximeyes, it has been a great EHR

Maximeyes had the best technology, the most advanced EHR for customizations and increased efficiencies. We really appreciate their VSP calculator and their new benefits and eligibility integration.

Loved using MaximEyes! As someone who had never interacted with an EHR previously, it was very easy to learn and adapt to.

Pros

Charting exams are intuitive, E Prescribe system works seamlessly, and patient record management is easy to learn.

Some content was not accessible if internet went down

The customer service is always top notch!

Pros

I have used maximize since 2008. I looked at other EHRs over the years but stuck with Maximeyes because it was so much better for recording medical findings.

Cons

All EHRs are inherently going to have issues.

Pros

Integration of other software apps has been very nice. CLX, FramesData have helped us tremendously.

There are many features not in the forefront that could be trained on better.

Let me start with saying ALL systems have downsides and quirks and it sucks changing. We started with Maximeyes in 2005 from VMS by MS Group and there have been times where it was rough but we stuck with them. We went to Maximeyes and SQL version in 2010 or so and just recently went to a Cloud based server. We are now going live to Maximeyes.com and really excited for the new product. They continue to improve and now have what looks to be an outstanding product with a continuous commitment to the best customer service out there.

Pros

Instant chat support and I mean within 30 seconds typically. They are very prompt and courteous.

Cons

Sometime the support people don't always "get" what you are trying to say or what you want done due to them being a computer person not an OD or a optician familiar with how an eyecare practice works or even with eyewear. But they can forward you to someone quickly that might have better insight so not that big of an issue.Also the Optical side can be improved alot more still I believe.

Instant Chat customer service support -hands down! When you need help fixing things, you need it right away!Customization also! I'm picking how I want my charts and how efficient it is.
