Pros My favorite features are Tasks and History, allowing me to schedule things to do for each of my contacts (prospects or donors) and to see what I've previously done. For several hundred contacts, it be too much for me to remember everything for everyone. It keeps me organized. And, it can sync donation data, which notifies me of late donations, sending a thank you note each year, things like that. Cons It has too many features and it's hard to wade through it all, at least initially. I found a good way to do it is to focus on a few features you want to use a lot, and not worry about the rest. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Mission Partner Development Specialist Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Review of TntConnect " May 8, 2019 4.0 Overall I have a good experience with this software because it was able to help get me fully funded as a missionary and continue to serve for my organization as well as fund the rest of our staff which I now help train and coach with the aid of this software. I do think it has plenty of room for improvement but I understand that can be easier said then done without proper resources. Pros What I like most about this software is that the functionality does really anything you could think of when it comes to keeping track of fundraising. The features are so vast that even after 6 years of daily use I still end up learning new things it can do. Our entire organization is able to do our mission work because of this software and it's ability to help our missionaries get funded and stay funded. You are able to put in all contact information that will show when donations come in and give you alerts if there are lapsed givers, etc. It will also remind you of tasks that you need to do. You have access to reports to see over all funding and much, much more. Cons What I like least about this software is that it is not very user friendly or intuitive. It can be overwhelming when navigating in the beginning of use with this software and will take time to master it's full functionality. President Religious Institutions Used the software for: 2+ years ### "A Powerful but Dying Breed" April 22, 2020 3.0 I have much affection for this program that has served me well, but I fear I will soon be saying farewell. Pros TntConnect has served me for more than 12 years of missionary fundraising. I love how it integrates contacts, giving history, to-dos, newsletter lists, maps, and everything associated with fundraising all in one system. It has incredible power and continues to get even more powerful. Cons Though I have benefitted much from TntConnect, I am disappointed that it hasn't yet migrated to the cloud. It is locally installed and hosted on my laptop. I deeply wish I could access my database from my phone or another device, especially when I am on the road. Review Source BF Brooke F. Missionary Associate Financial Services Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Function without form " December 6, 2019 4.0 It’s helped me organize contacts, keep detailed notes, crest tasks linked to each contact, and effectively track their involvement in giving financially to our ministry over a long period of time. I’m really thankful to have it as a tool. Pros Very functional. It’s incredible for keeping detailed information about contacts in a database that can be sorted by a variety of categories. Theres a lot of flexibility in easily grouping contacts one way or another and exporting to other file formats. The automatic tasks created for contacts are helpful. Cons It’s visually outdated and has so many features that it looks intimidating for a new user to figure out. It takes time learning to maximize the use of the software and I know other people are put off by that. Pros This is your one stop shop for tracking everything for your support raising. From details about all of your contacts to showing you at a quick glance the status of your donor's giving. The best part is if you are able to auto import your donations into the software but even without that it is a fantastic tool! Cons It can be a little clunky and at times confusing to use but it is getting better and there is a community that helps you with your questions. Cons It's a little dated looking and could use a fresh overhaul. Might also be ways ti simplify things and make them less complex for basic users. Pros I needed a low-cost option when my organization was in its infancy. Was easy to log donations and track donors.
