### "Strong Platform to Build & Maintain Your Business "

Franconnect has long been a leader in the industry. In my career in restaurant operations and training leadership I have engaged with the product on several occasions. The product is a robust platform that can set the stage for an integrated system to track all activities from initial conversations to the lifecycle of a business. Building that base for activities is extremely beneficial so you don't have disparate systems with disconnected data. I have used FranConnect in various capacities and always found it to be a great tool for efficiency and effectiveness. Every member of the team I have engaged has been incredibly helpful, insightful, and a pleasure to work with.

Pros

FranConnect is user-friendly while providing numerous features and functionality. The platform saves significant time and manual effort. Within the platform you can manage all the way from sales to development to operations with interconnected analytics providing actionable insights. Beyond the product, the team is all around fantastic. Responsive, knowledgeable, and always eager to help.

Cons

While the platform is user-friendly, it can be a bit to learn for some and may be somewhat complex in areas. For more creative users, there can be some limitations on customizations.

Worked with FranConnect for years and they are patient and always listens to what we have to say or suggest.

Pros

The Sales Module - it is very smooth, including sending FDDs, applications. Office Pride has a lot to do in the other modules and look forward to having it do what it is supposed to do.

Cons

FDD Reports as there is still additional checking that is needed to make sure data is as of end of year, specifically if ownership has changed after the year ended.

The user experience is terrible. It is not intuitive at all and their customer team is next to useless.

Pros

It is a disappointing platform, the search has never worked right, it gives us a black eye with our network.

Cons

It has been an extremely difficult platform to work with. Customer service is terrible. A recent update done to our platform has changed the complete look and feel and it was done without our approval and they tell us it cannot be undone.

### "Ziebart Implementation Review"

The team was very efficient and helpful throughout the entire process. We stayed on track from the very beginning because the FC team helped move us through implementation despite our team internally figuring things out. Very rarely did they not have an answer or solution to our problems and questions.

Pros

Extremely helpful getting our new sales process into the system. As we started implementation we were creating a new process internally- the team was patient while we figured things out and helped bring different aspects to the journey to life.

Cons

I wish the backside or 'Settings' for Admin was easier to navigate. I also wish the 'Export' feature was similar. Although all the information is nice, I wish I could easier export a list of contacts, their basic information from \[X inquiry date\] to \[Y inquiry date\].

I use it daily and with use i get more comfortable and familiar. It is easily navigable but would benefit from a bit of a redesign to improve the user interface. It is pretty quick with loading and downloading which is nice. I have not used it on an iPad or iPhone but would love to see an app for that

Pros

I find value with FranConnect to keep me up to date with the National Support Center and the goings on with the franchise in general. Anytime I need to find marketing materials, all I have to do is search and typically they are there. If i need something created, there is a place for that too. I also like the fact that the site is secure and that I have to log back in after inactivity. Its a good way to keep proprietary info secure.

Cons

The interface is a bit old and dated looking. I would love a cleaned up front end with a better calendar and a better directory. I would like to see a map of franchisees and their territories. I would also like to sort franchisees by state and city separate. Please include the H.H. name in addition to the business name. As for the National Support center, an org chart with quick click to contact would be incredibly helpful.

### "How FranConnect helped Juici Patties enter the US market"

It took some time, but I am very satisfied with the tools and features in FranConnect. The more you use it, the more you discover new ways to stay on top of important tasks, and key items are always within reach.

Pros

It's a centralized hub for everything we need to manage the franchisees and the locations, from communication to royalty collection, location audits, and reporting. It's the spine of the operation.

Cons

Like most technology-based tools, there is a learning curve, and franchisees who aren't tech-savvy often struggle with onboarding. However, this is mainly due to the user and not the platform itself. FranConnect still does a good job of making the UI user-friendly for everyone.

Sometimes I can't email pdf files. Not sure why so I have to use outlook and then upload the email to FranConnect.

### "Overall a Good Product... Quirky in Some Areas"

Our company has used FranConnect's software for years. Our franchise owners depend on it to communicate with their customers and most of them love it and couldn't live without it. For FranConnect to be a 10 out of 10, they would need to improve the reliability of the system, specifically after upgrades. Run more tests. Be able to assure their customers that there will be no glitches (or very minimal ones) after quarterly releases.

Pros

Mostly easy to use. A few of our franchise owners have trouble using some features, but those who are naturally better at operating computers are able to navigate the software without any issues. The system can handle tens of thousands of records, but it does slow it down slightly as the number of records increase. The newer version, Sky, is updated on a quarterly basis and requests from customers are taken in consideration for improvements, love that.

Cons

The system has a few inconveniences and quirks. Navigating with Groups of contacts can be difficult due to the inability to view more than 20 at a time. This has been requested to be improved in upcoming releases and I hope to see that particular improvement. Our system was upgraded to Sky this past summer from the Legacy version and since the upgrade, we have experienced glitch after glitch. Some a big deal, others not so much. Our franchise owners weren't able to use the system for over a week before FranConnect's team was able to resolve the issue. The reliability of the system is honestly scary at times. We've only experienced one quarterly upgrade with Sky and it triggered lots of problems when it went live. It does make us a little concerned for the next upgrade happening in a few weeks. It doesn't seem like they test the upgrade well before releasing it. That's purely assumption, but that's how it seems since all of the problems followed after the last upgrade.

### "Ubiquitous within the Franchise Industry"

I have used FranConnect while working with a number of Franchisors. Have looked into others but have not found one as committed and responsive to the franchise industry as they are.

Pros

Once you get it set up for your specific company and learn the workarounds, FranConnect is relatively easy to use. The best thing about the software, quite frankly, is their tech support... very patient and thorough (although takes a while to get the wheels in motion on any given issue since they are "offsite" and there seems to be a long queue).

Cons

A number of the modules and steps within them are simply not intuitive to set up or navigate. Most difficult is the creation and implementation of e-mail campaigns. Granted, this could be because we are not on the most recent version.

Pros

Any time I needed help figuring out how to do something or if it was even possibly to do something in the system, the response time from customer service is fast and friendly. Sometimes they even call me direct so it is nice to talk to a live person when you need help.

Cons

I have really delved into the back end of the software functionality and have played around with settings and making the most of the software. More often than not, there are features we wish we could add or change to make the software much more user friendly or work for our particular business needs and 9/10 times I am told the software cannot do what we need it to do and they have no plans to make the change, even if it is something that really needs to be changed for all users to make it better. I wish they were more open to developing the software further. For example, in the Support module, it is extremely basic. You can only add one attachment to a ticket, which causes a ton of issues with our franchisees and creates more work for all. You also can only see the overall ticket time-- not an individual breakdown of how much time was spent at each department.

I've been a journey and I've seen in the last 2.5 years how hard FranConnect has worked to make their system even better. They listen to their customers and try to enhance and support franchisors so that the system can work for us. I had times at the beginning of implementation where I was worried about how much there was to the system and some of the functionality was a little strange but overall I've been very please with all that FranConnect is and the direction it is going. The system has been very beneficial and necessary to have.

Pros

I love that FranConnect has thought of everything a franchisor will likely deal with in franchising and they've created a system to help you manage it all. In the last 2.5 years FranConnect has really enhanced the system. From the looks of it to functionality. I'm excited to see what it's going to look and function like in the next year. It's really helped me to keep things organized and on top of all the documentation a franchisor has to track per franchise location.

Cons

When we initially started using the software there were quite a few glitches in the system and we did lose some data, which was disappointing but the FranConnect team worked with us and we haven't had any major issues since.

Training is easy- team members can manage their own classes and take tests Bringing our team closer as we all know where we need to get info from

I love the training module and the HUB It helps us to communicate with all our franchisees and their team members instantly- especially alerts Love it

Cons

I dislike that we cannot just update our training videos. We have to completely remove them shut training down and add the new one. If we have to remove and add new- all team members lose thier completed classes-very difficult

Pros

The ability to log calls from the road is critical. The ap is functional but a little slow. It did make my life eaiser.

Cons

It would be much more valuable if we could be an integration with our ops software. If I had sales data connected to my marketing work it would be awsome!

Pros

The FranConnect team has worked incredibly hard to create our customized platform. With our unique business that doesn’t fit in any canned system it has been amazing what they’ve been able to accomplish.

Cons

The two biggest hiccups are response to down times and loss of capabilities due to customization. We have gone down during peak times for our business and if it’s their off day or night the emergency help line isn’t that responsive. Due to customizing we don’t get the new Sky platform and don’t get all the bells and whistles which sometimes causes franchises to use third party applications. Would prefer to keep all on one system.

Pros

This is a good entry level intranet platform for a franchisor. It has multiple sections that take a lead from a sales prospect to a franchise owner. Also sections for marketing and finance.

Cons

This is a difficult platform to master so you will need to have a technically oriented owner for this site. It is also seems to be focused on franchises that have a retail footprint that services customers onsite. Franconnect is not very flexible as far as modifying the site to meet specific needs or design. its more on an out of the box solution.
