has long been a leader in the industry. In my career in restaurant operations and training leadership I have engaged with the product on several occasions. The product is a robust platform that can set the stage for an integrated system to track all activities from initial conversations to the lifecycle of a business. Building that base for activities is extremely beneficial so you don't have disparate systems with disconnected data. I have used FranConnect in various capacities and always found it to be a great tool for efficiency and effectiveness. Every member of the team I have engaged has been incredibly helpful, insightful, and a pleasure to work with.

Pros

is user-friendly while providing numerous features and functionality. The platform saves significant time and manual effort. Within the platform you can manage all the way from sales to development to operations with interconnected analytics providing actionable insights. Beyond the product, the team is all around fantastic. Responsive, knowledgeable, and always eager to help.

Cons

While the platform is user-friendly, it can be a bit to learn for some and may be somewhat complex in areas. For more creative users, there can be some limitations on customizations.

The team was very efficient and helpful throughout the entire process. We stayed on track from the very beginning because the FC team helped move us through implementation despite our team internally figuring things out. Very rarely did they not have an answer or solution to our problems and questions.

Pros

Extremely helpful getting our new sales process into the system. As we started implementation we were creating a new process internally- the team was patient while we figured things out and helped bring different aspects to the journey to life.

Cons

I wish the backside or 'Settings' for Admin was easier to navigate. I also wish the 'Export' feature was similar. Although all the information is nice, I wish I could easier export a list of contacts, their basic information from \[X inquiry date\] to \[Y inquiry date\].

The user experience is terrible. It is not intuitive at all and their customer team is next to useless.

Pros

It is a disappointing platform, the search has never worked right, it gives us a black eye with our network.

Cons

It has been an extremely difficult platform to work with. Customer service is terrible. A recent update done to our platform has changed the complete look and feel and it was done without our approval and they tell us it cannot be undone.

Worked with for years and they are patient and always listens to what we have to say or suggest.

Pros

The Sales Module - it is very smooth, including sending FDDs, applications. Office Pride has a lot to do in the other modules and look forward to having it do what it is supposed to do.

Cons

FDD Reports as there is still additional checking that is needed to make sure data is as of end of year, specifically if ownership has changed after the year ended.

Overall, Fran Connect has been very user-friendly. It seems easy to navigate once you play around in it, at least for my purposes.

Pros

It works well as a checklist for our New Restaurants and many of the benefits, i.e., the ability to upload documents and communicate with each note. Support appears to be very responsive when needed.

Cons

Wish I could add multiple attachments per task, a way a franchisee can turn off notifications themselves, and a way to add a task to a Checklist without activating the checklist across the entire system, Ie it only activates for checklists that are live. Finally, having a way to keep a task "in progress" without it turning into Overdue once it passes its date.

Easy to use, very intuitive. Creating reports is a breeze, gathering all the information you need, and none of what you don't need. The CS is second to none, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Overall, my experience with has been pretty good. I mainly use it for training and to find resources related to European Wax Center. It makes it easier to stay organized and up to date. Even though the search tool isn’t perfect, the platform itself is super helpful and a big part of my day-to-day work.

Pros

What I like most about is that it’s really easy to use. The layout is simple, and everything is organized in a way that makes sense. It’s especially helpful for staying on top of training and updates.

Cons

The search feature could be better. When I try to look up something specific, it pulls up a lot of similar results, which makes it harder to find exactly what I’m looking for. It just slows me down sometimes.

### "A Great Franchise Development Management System!"

Essentially, our organization is using the application to run our franchise development function. We have multiple, geographically dispersed franchise development professionals utilizing the system to manage their day-to-day activities. The FranConnect system allows for centrally managed controls while providing all the functionality franchise development professionals require to help candidates make informed decisions. The mobile app is pretty cool too!

Pros

The application is all you need to manage the franchise development function. It is clear as you use the system, that all the functionality you need to manage your franchise development efforts has been built in. The system accepts leads from outside franchise consultant systems reducing the amount of manual entry required. The reporting system is robust. The email drip component of the application is loaded with functionality though at times, can be a bit confusing. However, once you get used to the campaign module, you're able to get things done quickly. Overall, a lot of capabilities in a relatively user-friendly system.

Cons

The dislikes are few. The primary dislike is that at times, the user has to request additional help when first using some of the functionality of the system. Once you get a better sense of how specific tasks are done, the system becomes much easier to navigate. bridges the gap with excellent technical support especially during the implementation stage. We worked with two customer reps. and both were extremely knowledgeable, very responsive and really knew their stuff.

### "Ok software for managing your Franchise"

Pros

Hard to say, not many positives for the product. Best pro of the product would have to be the ability to keep all of the Franchise related documents/files in one place so our users could see it. Also useful place to put one click links to secure websites/info for the users.

Cons

Literally everything else. Their search system is god awful, you cannot find anything by searching something, you have to comb through everything you have in your database to find anything. The way to download files is more confusing than ever, especially for your Franchise users. I can't say much about the info manager/sales section since I didn't work in that portion of the system. But updating users / Franchises was a nightmare, no ability to change multiple franchises at once, you have to manually go into each separate Franchise to check if it has the correct information, hit save, the system would then boot you out and put you back to a blank search page instead of the search page you originally created.

Overall, it's okay, but pricey for what you get. It's worth shopping around and comparing the alternatives.

Pros

A variety of modules are available to add, depending on your needs. For example, franchise development, financials, information manager, store opener, etc. It's solid software, but not cutting edge, which is not necessarily bad in a franchise.

Cons

It can be expensive, depending on the modules needed. We've found some software that we liked better for certain functionality, like group forums. For that, we moved it off this platform and on to Workplace by Facebook.

I have been working with for approx the past 2.5 years. I think some small tweaks in regard to system duplication (of data) and the modules "speaking" to each other could be easier. generally, we receive great software support but I would like to see a little more in regards to looking to them as the expects on their software and how we can use it at orangetheory to improve network functionality and improve internal business processes.

Pros

It is very Admin friendly - i can make majority of internal changes for the HQ office on a daily basis

Cons

System updates and enhancements do not always transition smoothly with customizations

I have been a user of for about 10 years. The service from some of the staff over the years has been superb. I highly recommend Franconnect to a franchisor that is looking for any of the following functions/features: an intranet, a library, a lead management system, a digital repository for online records and more.

The Franchise Sales Module and the Franchise Information Manager. The system has a lot of modules that you can activate based on the needs of your franchise.

Cons

The reporting capability is extensive. My team reviews the reports each week to determine the health of the sales pipeline. We are able to pinpoint where we need to focus for sales opportunities which is needed to drive the results we have set in place.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to get a person on the phone to help with an issue. However, their team is available via email through their helpdesk.

Overall, the program has been a great resource for our team and keeping all of our franchisee or client data in one place. I utilize it every day to find information.

Pros

\- Documents are easily accessible and live in one place - Data can be integrated into our other platforms like Qlik - Franchisee information is in one place and is a source of truth for all departments - New team members are able to see the history or previous phone conversations with specific franchisees - CRM tool has be great to keep all of our client data in one spot - Creating Email Campaigns is fairly easy & keeps all our communications in one spot

Cons

\- There is not enough training on the CRM tool of that I have found. Only Sales module training - Making specific adjustments in the programs is some times hard to do or trying to connect the dots in email campaigns - We cannot integrate the FranConnect Info Manager with our CRM module or the Operations Module - does not have cross functionality - Customizing is a bit difficult - Program can be slow, but that's probably because of so much data - Cannot open two windows at the same time of the same program

is organized well and user friendly. I love the Franbuzz feature which allows Franchisees to publicly post pictures, comments and announcements to the network. I also love the ticketing system for Franchisees who have issues. It allows the corporate team to sort the issues by categories and helps with managing response time.

Cons

Sometimes the links within glitch or have a page error sign and makes you sign back into your account.

Bad, the customer service is not great. Its really bad and none responsive most of the time.

Pros

Really the only pro to this software is that if you work in Franchise you need to use some sort of CRM management to keep track of leads and current franchisees. Thats it.

Cons

Everything. This software has never once worked well. Constantly timing out, buggy, and laggy to boot. Its NOT use friendly and needs a serious overhaul of how its managed.

The staff at is very helpful and great to work with. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] has been helping us and is very knowledgeable. He explains how things work, answers our question and often provides great tips and options.

Pros

It is a one stop Command Center for us and our franchisees including: New Leads; Franchise Information/records, documents and communications; and an incredible hub portal where our franchise can get training, news, manuals, articles and much more. And every time we add new information the app notifies everyone. The program allows us to customize the Franchisee information and documents that are important for our records and allows customize reports we need for easy access. We are extremely happy with the platform. It is helping us be much more efficient, grow faster and make our franchisee make more profits due to the easy access to so much information.

Cons

The modules are extensive with many options so it can be overwhelming at the start. We made two mistakes; trying to do every thing at once and waiting too long to buy the program. For our small company we found it better to do one section at a time. Setting up all the sections and entering all Franchisee data is the hard part, after that it is a pleasure to use.

Pros

I really enjoy working with the Campaign Center and Workflows. The Groups feature is a nice feature as well. I like being able to group my prospects together based on (Zip Code, Name, Industry, Birth date, and Status).

Cons

The latest update isn't really user friendly. Taking the Widget Bar across the top and putting it on the side as a pop up isn't user friendly.
