We use for finance reporting, sales ranking among our franchisees, as a sales tool and also customer relationship management.

Pros

Distinct modules that make it easy to find the information you're looking for. Franchise location IDs are always link-able in pages or reports. Good reporting functionality.

Cons

Options for reports are not always the same / have the same look or feel from one report to another.

Overall, I think that has a good base of features they offer. Their customer service is ran through a help desk email, which can be difficult to really communicate your issues in order to get the correct resolution. The reporting features are lacking customization, and leaves a whole lot of information out of reach unless you go through each franchisee sales report 1 by 1.

Pros

It stores all of our franchisees information in one location.

Cons

Usability and reporting features need work. Specifically the reporting features, as we store quite a bit of information that is not able to be transferred into reports.

Lead management tracking, sending email campaigns, library hosting.

Pros

Easy to track sales leads. Email campaigns and workflows are nice features. Lightbox is a great tool to ensure materials are brand compliant, yet customizable.

Cons

Seems to have issues syncing with MindBody. Creates duplicate records. Forms are not user-friendly.

We started using just over one year ago. The system is process driven which really increased our efficiency and our result. Best part of the tool is the ability to gain industry knowledge and access to best practices. I would highly recommend.

Pros

It's a great franchise sales specialized CRM. The system and process have been pioneer by many franchisors. It's almost out of the box ready to use and the account manager are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Cons

Can be hard to customize to some very specific needs you may have.

Navigation is easy and includes everything we need

Cons

You have to know the owner or number name to search, which means you have to know all of your customers or refer to other office websites or spreadsheets, which can be time consuming and frustrating. When you have hundreds of clients, you simply can't remember them all.

The CRM aspect of it has been challenging at times but the customer service support has been helpful. The new layout is not as user friendly as the previous layout.

Not being able to search for documents under the document tab.

Pros

It includes a wide variety of information for each individual franchisee.

Cons

I deal with terminated franchisees, so I need the system to give me a list of terminated franchisees and give me a percentage of completion (they have about dozen tasks to complete the termination phase) per franchisee, per concept and the whole Neighborly group overall. And the fact that you can only load one file at the time!. I want to be able to select the option of loading several files to the system from my computer; but I have to do it one by one. It gets tedious and time consuming.

Sky is a great off the shelf software solution for franchises of all sizes. We especially liked the HUB module which is a place where franchisees can communicate with each other and access essential franchise documents.

I've been working with Franchise Software for over 10 years with 2 franchised systems. The 1st was an established franchise with about 80 locations and the 2nd franchised system was a startup.

Pros

This system is great whether you have 0 locations or 500 locations. It helps manage leads on the Sales side as well as transitioning them to functioning locations on the Operations side. It's a complete system with extensive customization and easy to set up.

Cons

Very little cons with this program - menu could be a little more intuitive and search function could be enhanced as well.
