Pros: PC software is feature rich and we love the client (POI) notification system. It sends our clients an email every time a truck arrives and departs from our client's property. The tracking is very accurate and comes with a host of features like idle times, hard braking, harsh acceleration etc. This allows us to "fine tune" our drivers.

Cons: The main issue with Fleet Complete is they recently changed their mobile app and made it completely useless. Their previous mobile app worked well and allowed us to quickly check on our drivers while on the go. We could easily switch from truck to truck with just a few taps on our screen but not with this new software.

The new app is nothing short of awful. (and that is being nice) We have asked them to bring back the old app but they outright refuse. Why on earth a company would take a perfectly good mobile app and revamp it into something worthless is beyond us.

If you are a business owner that is hands on and on the go and need to check on drivers remotely then stay far away from Fleet Complete unless they bring back their old app.

This has been such a huge disappointment I am now looking for new fleet tracking providers despite being a client of Fleet Complete for years.

Someone in the office dropped the ball and made a very bad decision.

I hope whomever made their mobile app so bad is quickly removed from the company and someone remakes it before they lose many clients.

Overall: Client notification system is our main benefit now. We use to be able to check in on drivers while on the go but since Fleet Complete completely ruined their mobile app the service is nearly worthless to us. The new app looks like it was developed by someone with no experience whatsoever in mobile application development.

The GPS fleet tracking units worked at best only 50% of the time.

Pros: The software seemed to work OK when and only when the GPS tracking units transmitted data correctly.....which was not often.

Cons: Software was OK, we had major issues with the GPS hardware installed in our fleet. The technical team admitted that they sold me an inferior, alpha product but would be happy to upgrade my fleet to the new units free of charge.....then they never contacted me. Poor product...Poor customer service. The 35 GPS units they sold me are now being used as very expensive paper weights. I am now contracted with another fleet tracking service that actually works.

Overall: Not a good experience with this company.

Pros: When it works the reporting is good. The application is so unreliable, I cannot depend on knowing where my vehicles are at any given time.

Cons: The application is a complete failure. Do not sign a contract. I have vehicles that have not reported for months. Even with replacement devices to upgraded technology, still no tracking available. I have ask for refunds for a vehicle that did not report for 3 months from March to June 2017. As of November still no refund.TOTALLY UNRELIABLE.

Pros: Nothing worked well

Cons: They cannot solve a problem that we have had since June at least. I have to keep calling them and re-opening the ticket. For some reason, they think that after I notify them of a problem and enough time has passed they feel they can give up and close the ticket.

Only works for one vehicle. Cannot schedule multiple vehicles separately.

Software is slow

Overall: The software is slow, really only works for one vehicle. We have been having a specific problem with the software since June and it is still not resolved despite having opened a ticket with them several problems. They seem sincere about solving the problem and then eventually forget about it. Thus begins the process of calling them again and trying to again to get it resolved. will be asking for a refund for the time we have had this problem. Maybe this review will get someone's attention that can actually push some buttons and get this issue fixed.

Recommendations to other buyers: Find another software

We continually have software issues. Tech support advises us to reload the software, weekly!

Pros: Different colors on maps for types of vehicles which is helpful in readily identifying the fleet.

When I need it. I have to reload it. Not very dependable if takes such an effort! I haven't had this problem with other tracking packages we have used! They continually advise me to remove the software and reload it, but I have other things to do. I am going to have to look different supplier!

Pros: Customer service pick up phone immediately. But most of the time they are unable to resolve the issue.

Cons: When devices stopped working(which is most of the time), it is big hassle to fixed them. I shipped two defective devices back in July, 2017 and still have not received any replacements yet. I called Customer services several time and every time they promise to call me back. But nobody called me back about this issue.

Overall: Do not get this software of hardware. Do not work properly most of the time.

Comments: The pros are simple, Fleet complete allows me to know where my service vehicles are at and where they've been up to about the last three months if needed. If I have a Technician with a lot of what we refer to as inefficient travel time, i.e. he constantly takes longer to get to and from each job, it's remarkably easy for me to use Fleet complete and the Trip Replay fuction to go back over a specific period of time and see exactly where they've been and how long it took them to get there, even better, if there were any stops along the way. I compare that to their time sheets and I can quickly tell if a Technician is taking a few liberties on their reported travel labour. Fleet Complete shows you when they started their vehicle, when it started moving, what it's speeds were, what route was taken, arrival time, any time they went off course and how long for and any unexpected stops along the way.... basically everything you need to know if a Tech is reporting their travel and onsite time accurately. We have recently purchased a few new vehicles and the company made the decision not to install GPS devices and use Fleet Complete to track those vans, telling me that I could use the GPS data from their phone and out new Work Order system to get the same information. They were wrong. Fleet complete takes way less time to navigate and has substantially better data displayed in a much more user friendly way. The cons are that I still need to open Google Maps and use street view to see where some of those unplanned stops I mentioned are actually at.

Pros: There is nothing good I can say about this company. They will not let you out of your contract even though they do not hold up there end of the contract. When trying to get out of the contract since the system wasn't working properly I got the run around. They put me in touch with four different people. They also told me they would contact me in 48 hours but after a week of waiting I had to contact them.

Cons: Was mislead by the rep that it tracks in real time. The devices don't even track my trucks. Very unreliable. I've used other GPS systems that are MUCH more reliable.

Pros: The ease of use is great, allowing us to see and track all vehicles in our fleet. We can run a number of reports which help us manage our vehicles and personel.

Cons: Adding Points of Interest isn't as easy as we would have hoped and we would like to see more routing tools that can help with planning and efficiency.

Overall: Visibility to our vehicles and knowing how long each sales and delivery stop takes.

Pros: It covers most of what we need well and the people at Fleet are great to work with. Auto dispatch to mobile devices helps cut down the 'noise' in the office by eliminating about half our phones calls compared to before using an auto dispatch.

Cons: There is some choppiness to data entry that could be made smoother, military time is not available and that would speed up data entry a lot. Also they have some glitches in the system that can be frustrating but it seems they are working diligently to correct them. We used their earlier version of Courier Complete for 10 years, that system was excellent and I'm sure this newer version will get there eventually too.

For our operations, the software has been an amazing asset; Im am thankful to have this tool.

Comments: From the very beginning, my experience has been nothing but positive. I initially thought I would use the GPS to monitor driver after hours vehicle use, but it has been far more useful; We use it for client billing disputes, timesheet verification, scheduling vehicle maintenance and monitoring driver performance. But even better, one of my drivers was in an accident and he was rear ended. The other party clearly at fault, claimed the my driver did a U turn and cut in front of them, which was not true. They claimed bodily injury as well as vehicle damage. With help from customer service, I was able to prepare reports, such as "breadcrumb trail", "harsh corning" and "position" to give to the insurance investigator to negate this fraudulent claim. Without these reports, this claim could compromise our insurance as well as the drivers record. I never would have thought the program would help with accident investigations; just another benefit of having the Fleet Complete program. I also have to mention that the customer service team is amazing and very knowledgeable, I have never had a bad experience. The software itself is easy on the eye and very friendly to use. We are a small non for profit organization and investing in Fleet Complete has been a wise choice. Without hesitation, I would recommend Fleet Complete to any business big or small.

Pros: Full fleet tracking. The accuracy of location is great.

Cons: Crashes, fleet and/or map doesn't load sometimes.

Overall: Overall it is a great tool for tracking your fleet. I often have an issue with it not loading properly or crashing on me but it usually works with a restart. An app is a nice option but not very user-friendly. I find I don't use it unless I have to.

Pros: Tracking the truck all day long is the best part of this program. It is the only feature we find that functions most of the time. The odometer reading is TERRIBLE. INCORRECT DAILY.

Cons: Odometer readings on all the trucks are incorrect daily. We make weekly phone calls to get the reading correct, spending hours at a time. Only to find the problem reoccurs again the next day.

Overall: Allowed us to cross the border as an AOBRD operator, however, the Odometer readings are incorrect daily. Speak to customer service weekly, yet to find a solution. Have been using it for over 3 months.

Cons: Watch the video on Utube that you direct us to learn how to get the fuel tax report. It flies through too fast. When I push the timeline cursor back to the beginning, a Christmas decoration video comes on.

Overall: I wrote in that I only get Report Schedules when I click on Reports on the ribbon toolbar. I do not get Fleet like Help shows. I still only get Report Schedules. I have used a lot of financial programs through my 30-year career. This is the most difficult one to plod through. JD Edwards on green screen in the 90's was easier to get up and running on. I used this in October for my third quarter report. At this time of the year, I need to get the data without a lot of webinar watching.

Overall: The software is great. Used it for about 2 years and in that time it broke nearly half our fleet. The GPS is constantly draining off the battery and within 2 years half our fleet of BRAND new one-ton trucks had to have their batteries replaced.

Also, one GPS unit actually interfered with the trucks computer system and cost $900 to diagnose and figure out that unplugging the Fleet Complete system fixed everything.

Overall, it's a fine system if you feel like constantly repairing vehicles.

One of the customer rep was very swift with a perfect solution to my issue with our fleet maintenance schedule.

Cons: Everything Is wrong. Most of the time with error.not connecting etc. Do not recommend this fleet complete not even to my worth enemy.that bad its. Specially for the cost. Spending about 112 a month per truck. When i was told that it was 36 a month. Scam. There are some other provider out there for a fraction of the price. Don't believe on this guys. Not trusty.W A R N I N G!!!

Pros: Nice interface on PC, Plotting Points on the map is nice. Geofencing if you need it. Poor customer service and locked in contracts.

Cons: First, the delivery was delayed by about 1.5 months, then the equipment we received required professional installation, it was not plug and play. The interface was lovely, unless you are using a phone app or a macbook. It only works with the nice interface on a PC. The vehicle diagnostics is not available. We cannot get live vehicle tracking.

Overall: Occasional vehicle tracking. But I needed LIVE vehicle tracking.

Pros: The real-time tracking helps to know where our technicians are, as well as verify their time sheets on a day to day basis.

Cons: The reports over a longer period (weekly or monthly) can be a bit tougher to sift through, though give a good overview.

Overall: Daily tracking and verification of submitted time sheets via tracking.

Cons: As an admin, the functionality to update certain things is not there. Too many devices malfunctioning.

Pros: Great Reports, Easy to use tracking, detailed street maps, stores GPS data making driver reviews a lot easier to perform

Cons: Speeds for several streets in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas need to be updated as far as speed, less a software and more a hardware issue but GPS often place our truck on a side street rather then the street it is traveling down

Comments: The Driveway Doctor is a residential and commercial asphalt, interlock and concrete sealing company. In the winter we provide snow removal services. Fleet Complete has put us well ahead of our competition. At any time we are able to find pinpoint locations of our trucks and give clients accurate ETAs for their service calls. In the winter Fleet Complete really excels however with their POI (Point of Interest) notification system. Our trucks automatically email our clients when our trucks arrive at their location and depart. Pros: Flexibility to be able to see where all my vans are and keep track of all the systems. This is a deal for our business and give us the advantage to be able to correct where any one is in default. Nothing to not like. The program speak for its self. Overall: Researching movement for one of our vehicles and when I clicked for the Breadcrumb trail no data was showing - tried many times throughout the day but still no data. Called customer support and within minutes a very genial technician assisted me and promptly homed into what had been causing the data void - it was not the system malfunctioning - it was me!! They will tell you one price then charge more, and apparently no one can fix it

Comments: No pros to this system, only cons. They tried to copy another version only that they are failing miserably. I was looking to install on my trailers an tracking device having on my trucks an excellent RandMcNally TND for fleet, got fooled by the seller with the Black Friday scheme and nothing worked so far. The software it's a cheap copy which it's gonna freeze your computer, the mobile application it's useless, don't even bother to download it, the tracking it's kind off a day late, when it is working. I have a truck who left my yard in the morning and so far no e-mail alert and it is still show that it is in my yard.

Tomorrow I'll have those units taken off and ship back.

Comments: We were a bit hesitate when we first began with Fleet Complete, but the ease of use of the software was great. The tracking system fits well with our safety program, allows us to see where our assets are at all times, provides peace of mind for working alone. We have expanded the use by setting up POI's, this provides data as to how much time is spent at each project, thus assisting with financial reporting and contract negotiations. The reporting tools are great, allows us to bring up summaries of activity from 6 months ago. Provides facts to back up driver complaints, gives the real story, good or bad. Definitely a great investment.

Comments: The point of interest function is one of the most essential function I use. Its great for getting a more detailed summary of a vehicles trip history and to filter out unwanted locations. If there was a way to generate a report for a POI that indicated all of the vehicles which had been on site for any given time period it would be a big help. Maybe there already is a way to do this but sometimes I don't have the spare time to learn the different functionalities of the software. Overall, the software accomplishes everything I need it too and I continue to find new features which help me perform my responsibilities more effectively.

- Allows us to follow drivers paths to plan best routes for future trips.

Cons:

- Bing software doesn't recognize many areas and speed limits are often wrong (For example right outside our door)

- Often software causes a speeding infraction if you come to an intersection where the speed is different on the adjoining road.

Can't Export Power Reports so what is the point of having them? I have to export data to Tableau from 2 different reports to get the data from the Power Reports into a visualization I can share with management

All of the customer support members I have dealt with to date have been great to talk with and they really do know their stuff. Comments: We are still trying to transfer over to the new system from the older version. We were sold on the product and told that everything would be transferred from the old system over to the new system only to find out this is not the case. We are now told that all rate structures have to be rebuilt in the new system before anything else can proceed. We had one quick review on this, but no follow up to see how things were going.

Comments: Update was a disaster and we now have no confidence in the system. I am still finding issues and still need to log them. The worst part of it all is that Fleet Complete new of the issues and did not warn their clients and with the issue I am still finding they probably know about these too and have not updated us. It is very disappointing and making us rethink are commitment with this AVL solution.

Comments: Every week I get a FleetComplete report - marked important - even when the content is BLANK, i.e. no one has used the fleet vehicle in the preceeding period. Attempts to get the report marked normal (priority) or not sent at all (if no activity) have fallen on deaf ears.

As a result I have set-up an Outlook rule to shunt FleetComplete reports directly to my Junk mail folder.

Comments: Pros - Simply enough, being able to watch live where our fleet is at any moment. Breadcrumb trail is a very handy tool.

Cons - Would be interested in seeing a function where you could breadcrumb trail multiple units at the same time on the same screen.

Comments: the software is fairly easy to use. I find I use breadcrumbs option a lot. I am starting to do more with it because I was recently given administration rights, looking forward finding out how much we can utilize the software in our everyday use.

Comments: We have had a couple of glitches in the system after a maintenance update but once the unit was reset it worked fine. Overall the tracking system works well for our company. Has saved us money being able to track a missing piece of equipment.

Comments: Quickly gets a position on my trucks. Like the breadcrumb feature. Keeps track of all the vehicle particulars for me (ie. mileage, maintenance schedule).

Would like to see a bigger map portion when just looking for vehicle location.

Comments: There does seen to have some inaccuracies in the reports that needs to be or is being addressed.

Addressing requests are not done in a timely fashion and responses three months later are we are working on it.

Comments: Once I became familiar with the icons and their functions, I found it useful for tracking, locating and confirming assets for our selves and our customers from both a safety and quality assurance perspective.

Comments: Pros- Affordable, immediate advantages being able to track vehicles

Cons- Getting used to everything. New HOS app has a lot of bugs to work out. The HOS app is the main reason we got fleet complete.

Comments: very useful when looking for a co employee. and very easy to open and log in. the only problem i have is that somtime you need to log in again when you dont use it for a long time

Comments: We are a medium sized trucking company doing loads to the NWT daily. Your product works great and except for a few areas where there is no cell service I know where my loads are.
