That is really what I needed AC for most, and it's worked great. Cons I've had several glitches in trying to create campaigns and lost emails. In the last month, I cannot use my templates in Safari and had to download Google Chrome just to use the service I pay for. I've had issues with formatting and have had to send multiple test emails, continuously correcting the same thing as well. January 28, 2021 5.0 We went through several email marketing platforms in this is by far the best one. It's really easy to use, the automations possibilities are endless and very user friendly. It has allowed us to truly follow our leads, pipelines, and the main traffic sources so we can put our efforts in the proper channels. We've been able to implement a very solid automation system that has increase conversions and build loyalty. Furthermore, the SMS feature is a great add on and is converting pretty well, same for the web notifications. And the support team has been very helpful whenever we need something and helping us make sure that all automations are set up in the best possible way. Our team LOVES ActiveCampaign. We are looking forward to integrating the Conversations feature! Pros It's really easy to use and it's great for building automations that are well targeted and segmented, with a variety of options. From emails, SMS, notifications, goals, web messages. The pipelines system works great. Unlimited lists. The software is reliable and it plays nicely with Zapier and various other tools I use in my coaching business. Pros The Deals/Pipeline management is simple to set up and use, as was the data import when I first signed up. The automations are possibly the best part about ActiveCampaign in how they all link together. Cons It is quite technical, I'm relatively experienced at using various CRM and Email apps, without that experience I feel this might have been quite hard to set up. The Automations are VERY technical and I'd say I'm using about 5% of what ActiveCampaign is actually capable on that front. We love that we can manage our database, connect our leads to 'deals' and 'organizations'. Previously we were managing our customer data in excel and thanks to Active Campaign it is much easier to sort and find customer data. We also like the email marketing tools, which makes AC a true one-stop-shop for us, and it's a fraction of the price of some of the CRM tools that our competitors use, with similar functionality. Cons We have had issues with deliverability of some emails, and customizing the look and feel can be frustrating, but that has been my experience with every email marketing platform I've ever used. With so many options there is a lot of customization available in their starter plan. The different ways to tag and segment the audience is helpful. The email format can be as simple or robust as one desires. Cons It lags a little and the rich text formatting toolbar is a little annoying because it resets the font randomly. There's also no way to setup a default font, I have to manually change it every time. The lack of simple landing pages. It's a feature that other competitors have started implementing. I'm not asking for a robust landing page builder but it would be useful to have the option. That said, I'm guessing since the target audience is a power email marketer, there's an assumption that they already have a landing page builder or website. The lag to load pages in the platforms is definitely a little disappointing to me. It seems to take a while to change between dashboards (contacts, campaigns, automations, etc). While AC does not try to fulfil every user's needs, it allows its users to connect natively to the best apps relating to email and customer automation. Additionally, their customer support tools are excellent, as well as their onboarding process. Pros ActiveCampaign has so many powerful features that I don't even take advantage of, but I'm still learning more about them. My favourite feature of ActiveCampaign is the built-in support and one-on-one calls. In addition to learning how to automate, learn how to use Deals, and organize my contacts better, I used them to learn how to automate. In addition, it is compatible with other tools, such as Stripe and Thinkific, which has enabled me to create an entirely automated onboarding process for my program clients. Cons Sometimes it's a bit hard to find the answers to all of the questions I have. As the operation dashboard is so robust and fully featured, sometimes you do get lost, but it's definitely worth the money. I love how they have even empowered me through their products. They have also given me surprise gifts over the years for being a great customer. I love that. I even got a giftcard for sharing how much I love them on here. Pros The customer success team is by my side to make sure that I make the most out of this product that I understand how it works. I never felt alone when I talk to one of their team members. They help me get way more than I could have ever imagined. It’s awesome scheduling calls with them. I liked that I can automate my on boarding process. I like that I could get a lot of data that big companies get out of my potential clients being a small business owner. Cons Sometimes the software is slow. But it’s pretty much fine. Sometimes their text support is really slow and has long wait times. Not every person in the chat is quick to respond.
