Pros

I like that overtime Activecampaign listen to user feedback and add more product and features based off users requests. Now Activecampaign have email automation with landing pages included.

Cons

There's no BCC for email automation and you can't save files under contacts only links to the files.

A very powerful software that helps us save time, automate processes, scale the business.

Pros

The automation system is really powerful. We can do almost everything within it to achieve our primary goals.

Cons

The UI is a bit old, but you get used to it. The filters for the fields in searching functionality can be improved so we can search for terms in a particular column.

Pros

I am recently using this active campaign tool for my business to get generate leads. And getting a good result. It is easy to build a high-quality landing page, write beautiful covering emails, easy to set up automation for business, split test, CRM etc. Anyone can easily use an active campaign for their business. Try it you will love it.

Cons

Even it is great automation marketing software. The price is a little higher compared to other same kinds of platforms. Hope the team of active will decrease their monthly price so not only bigger marketers small or upcoming marketers can use it on their business.

I have used different marketing automation platforms and ActiveCampaign is now the best one I can recommend for begginers and SME.

Pros

ActiveCampaign has all the features that other "premium" platforms also have, but the price and the fast set up are totally a game changer. In a few steps you can provision a marketing automation platform with all the capabilities.

Cons

For high database and high sending volumes, maybe it's not the best option. Large campaigns could take time in sending.

Better delivery rate, reports are more detailed, contact management is better handled in AC. The use of tags is better.

Pros

The automation feature is a great tool to follow your potential clients in their purchase thoughts. I like all the features in CONTACS. It's easy to add tags, lists, send campaigns, add comments.

Cons

Cannot share the campaigns in our social media. Features in the PAGES (funnels) are limited compared to other sales funnels softwares. Campaign templates are limited. It would be a could complement to have a survey feature(basic survey). There are lots of events and emails. It's overwhelming. It's time consuming and if I don't participate, I feel like I'm missing out of lots of stuff. You need to be very much focused on your tasks and what's important for your company so you don't let yourself so in all the directions and loose the essence of why you purchased it in the first place. The creation of email campaign has less design features then mailchimp.

I have been using ActiveCampaign for more than 3 years now and it is everything I need, nothing less, nothing more, recommended for those who want to have automation solutions without breaking the bank, with excellent support and helpdesk.

Pros

It is super easy to use, have all the features and apps you can imagine, you can use it with most of the software out there to integrate your campaigns with everyone

Cons

I haven't found anything that I don't like about it, I used other software before (infusionsoft) and moved to activecampaign and couldn't think of any reasons to leave it

Pros

Maybe the best set of features out there - CRM + Email Marketing + Marketing Automation. Unfortunately these features don't really work...

Cons

I haven't seen a software with more bugs - and they never get fixed. A few days ago my campaign was sent to people whom I specifically excluded. So we had to deal with angry customers. At the same time we haven't got any response from the customer support for 5 days. Whenever you have a serious problem they stop answering for days. We have been customers for almost 3 years but I am really disappointed and looking for an alternative.

I have been with them for a long time and use them depending on marketing campaigns but as my business grows I will continue to use them more and more. I've looked at dozens and they are unique and trusted within their class.

Pros

I love that they have been around for a long time and still continue to innovate and be cutting-edge in an area that is tough to stay relevant and dependable.

Cons

Not for beginners but it is worth to really learn what the system does, it pays off in the long run.

Acticecampaign has a robust marketing automation system which is straight forward and very powerful. It's email marketing system is epic which have allowed us to setup drip campaigns to nurture our leads and close sales. It has simple to use automations and triggers to easily setup campaign. I track all the action my subscribers take.

ActiveCampaign solve our problem to collect potential customers over our ads campaign and to talk with them after this collect. We were facing some issues with our previous tool because they had a simples solution that didn't fit our need.

Pros

The thing that I liked the most at ActiveCampaign is how easy is to setup and start to use the tool. I began with the free trial but very soon I needed to upgrade my plan because I've already collect a lot of contacts that helped to grow my business

Cons

I've a problem to pay for my upgrade plan due to an currency problem. The website automatically converts the price to my local currency. But my credit card demands a payment in the original currency. Because of this, I was unable to instant pay for my upgrade. However, the support team helped me to solve this issue and I upgraded my plan.

Initially I didn't care for it, but it's because there was so much you could do it was almost intimidating, especially when all I wanted to do was send a simple email. But I grew to understand and really like it. Now it's a tool I keep going back to.

Pros

One of my first forays into email marketing with such a robust system, it's almost intimidating everything you can do with Active Campaign. It can replace multiple software products, email marketing, campaign management, list management, even funnels.

Cons

the cost goes up quite a bit if you have an email list with a good amount of people. It took some getting used to, but I suppose that's to be expected with such a robust tool that can do so much.

### "My favorite email marketing platform so far"

Pros

I've tried just about every mainstream email marketing service, from MailChimp to MadMimi and MailerLite, to GetResponse, ConvertKit, and Drip -- and ActiveCampaign is always the one that stands out. Why? Great automations visual editor, complex automation logic, segmenting and tagging, Wordpress integration, and superb customer support.

Cons

For a while, the ActiveCampaign user interface was a bit difficult to navigate, but it seems like they are finally making strides to simplify & streamline things of late.

Pros

I like the ease of setting up an automation for different email campaigns. I've been able to create several optins for my business and easily create an email funnel that gives me accurate and in-depth information about my prospects.

Cons

The more complex automations are hard to figure out. However the customer service is easy to access and they are very helpful and thorough in their solutions.

Su facilidad de uso inicial y la gran variedad de funciones. Es muy intuitivo y fácil de aprender. Grandes opciones de automatización así como de personalización.

Cons

Aunque tiene una amplia variedad de precios los planes más avanzados son bastante más caros. Es cierto que tiene una buena facilidad de uso pero puede convertirse en complejo si no se tiene cierta experiencia en marketing y se desea utilizar las muchas funciones avanzadas de que dispone.

Our needs are fairly basic and ActiveCampaign meets those needs. Getting through to customer service is a serious challenge.

Pros

It's easy to use, comparable to other platforms out there. Because of this, it's easy to learn so you can hit the ground running. Not too tough to set up and export a report. Templates help with branding, which is important because the basic blank email is very limited visually speaking.

Cons

Heaven help you if you need to contact someone. I have left voice mails that were never returned and one that was returned two business days later. I have waited in the queue all day in some cases--even for the live chat online. No one ever follows up (you have to keep after them) and they are not responsive to requests. (To be fair, when you do finally get someone, they are friendly and knowledgeable.) Tried to upgrade to the next tier of emails and ran into a problem. Never had such a hard time trying to pay someone more money. It's like they didn't want to help me spend more dollars... CLEARLY, ActiveCampaign needs to hire more CSRs...lots more.

We can track of our users in much better way

Pros

Well, We are early users, but till now seems like AC are doing the job well. We can segment the users properly, and they provide different ways to do so like custom fields, list, tags and it makes things easy. Deliverability is also awesome with these guys. Thing which I love more is education center you can get solutions of almost all the problems from there. Looking forward to exploring more of it

Cons

Some part the text is so light and it can be like not visible like on the campaign performance page. But those are normal things.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to set up, easy to make sure what you set up is working! The help center is SO useful and there is always someone available to help you trouble shoot. The in person workshop was incredibly useful and gave me the confidence and support to implement a huge email automation in my business that has literally been a game changer.

Cons

It's not as pretty as FloDesk but it can do SO MUCH more. And besides, pretty emails don't necessarily mean better conversions.

I use ActiveCampaign every month to send an email campaign to my business contacts, with information about my company services. My contact lists don't grow a lot every time, but I have integrations in my Wordpress to subscribe new contacts, and automations to add this contacts to lists, according to wich form they fill.

Pros

I like the way ActiveCampaign manages the contacts and the lists. I think they are one step forwarder than the competitors. Also, the email campaign designer it's very easy to use and to send test emails. But the most powerful tool that ActiveCampaign has is the automation, which they call recipes, that allow to trigger actions on your lists or contacts, based on external inputs. I really love it.

Cons

In the lite plan, I think they could give us a little more performance reporting, because the info given is too basic and it difficulties the analytics of every campaign. Also, ActiveCampaign is a little costly compared with the alternatives.

I like SendinBlue because it's easy to use, and in some scenarios, I use it instead ActiveCampaign because they have a free tier. But for the most of the work, ActiveCampaign is the most reliable option in email marketing.

ActiveCampaign has a certain "professionalism" about it that I really like. Their branding is optional and/or kept to a minimum on forms and in email campaigns. The MailChimp and Constant Contact services never appealed to me because they have their amateurish branding plastered at the bottom of all emails sent using their service. I operate two businesses utilizing ActiveCampaign - an online digest and a retail store - this service has worked exceptionally well for both. I find the tiered pricing based on number of subscribers to very fair and appropriate for the services they provide.

Pros

For the most part, the software is intuitive and easy to use. The automations are very powerful - I utilize them often. They offer great integration with my Wordpress sites, Facebook fan pages, and Zapier (automations integrated with Eventbrite.) Customer support has always been helpful and friendly.

Cons

The software can be glitchy when it comes to formatting emails. It's often the case that font colors especially will change at random after clicking the 'save' button. From what I've found so far, it doesn't integrate well with Squarespace sites. I imagine it can be done, but requires the use of a third party software, like Zapier.

Very very positive. The content they send out to their user so that we can get the most from their software is brilliant.Their only workshops are so helpful and any video calls we have had with them date we have been able to walk away from with a lot of applicable information.

Pros

Customisation is on another level. App integration has no limits from what we have experienced so far.

Cons

One or two minor glitches from buttons / when using on safari. But any issues have quickly been resolved
