I keep switching back and forth from AWeber to ActiveCampaign to constantly test the deliverability rates but still, an awesome platform. Pros Automation is made simple and easy by ActiveCampaign. When there is a problem or something I need help with, support is excellent and highly responsive, and they always make themselves available.  That's really good! Even when you apply the text to table function in Excel it doesn't work correctly. Took me already hours of grooming. I send out a daily email and I find the platform to be very intuitive. I've also automated email campaigns when a customer purchases an item, that process is also very easy to implement and understand using their platform. I've recommended ActiveCampaign to other business owners in the course of my client work, particularly those who have had a difficult time understanding how to use InfusionSoft. Overall, I've really loved using ActiveCampaign as my email autoresponder software! Pros \- Intuitive, easy to figure out - Pay monthly per # of subscribers - Easy to integrate with other platforms Cons \- Paypal integration seems a bit wonky at times. If you want a simpler email automation tool with great analytics, look no further. Pros By far and away, the best feature of Active Campaign is the ability to create and edit automation sequences with ease. This is light years above MailChimp, which we used previously. The recent addition of revenue tracking for emails was a huge plus as well. Highly recommend for companies using any form of drip campaigns in their email sequences. Simplifies the process, and saves time, which as we all know, is money. Cons There is a bit of a learning curve up front as it's not the most intuitive platform, but the extra features it has more than make up for this. It's not suitable for professional users. Pros Many integrations, but some didn't work. Cons I'm really losing my mind with ActiveCampaign. There are so many bugs, it feels like I'm using some Beta MVP of an early startup. Only difference, we're paying over $100 per month for it. The email editor sucks. Integrating with Facebook Audiences keeps disconnecting. Opening any page or using features often takes several seconds to load. It gets really expensive very fast as they charge per user (Sendinblue has unlimited users). The customer support tries to be helpful but in the end can't help. The final straw on the camel's back was when I needed to segment users to email them and find out if they're still relevant. Segmenting users didn't work due to bugs (503 errors, lists not actually being segmented). I eventually hit the user limit before the support received my request. I struggled with a feature, and contacted Customer Service. Within minutes, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] had created a video to explain step-by-step how to fix the error and sent it to me. It took me another two minutes to implement the correction and finalize the project. Superb customer service. Pros The ActiveCampaign software is intuitive and its design features are excellent. It took me about half an hour to feel that I was well-versed in most of the functions. Cons I struggled a bit to get the email function working for my monthly company newsletter but that was mostly because I'd made an error with the segment feature. I'll eventually use it to go after more specific people for opportunities. Pros There are two main features that I love about ActiveCampaign, the first one is the support, ActiveCampaign do an amazing job with customer service, onboarding, answering questions, and providing the right training material. The second is that tiered approach to functionality, it can be as simple as a email tool, or as complex as a full blown CRM and that really gives flexibility. Cons I think one the user interface is slightly outdated, it seems like if it was modernized it can become a bit easier to digest. I wasn't sure if trying a third provider would be a good idea. What convinced me was the customer service. Question are answered in no time (and in a way that even a "non-marketing" and "non-tech" person can understand and we have a 30min one-on-one with AC every month to go over specific questions. That makes AC absolutely worth the price! Pros I love the fact that it's really easy to segment your contacts and even though I had never set up an automation before, it wasn't as complex as I had feared. Cons It's not necessarily a con, but AC has so many features that it can be hard to find your way around it. Even though we've been using if for more than 6 months pretty much every single day, I think we are only using 10% of what AC has to offer.
