I found it when i first started out and was looking for something that had lots of features that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Active Campaign was there and i still use them today. I enjoy using the platform and will continue using it as a method to reach my custom tees by email. Pros This platform is very intuitive to use and I enjoy the additional analytics that are included. The dashboards and the workflows have been very helpful in automating email tasks for the business. Cons Integration with products are available at the next tier of pricing. For a small business, production integration is something I am use to with my prior platform and I’m not sure upgrading to $75 per month is feasible for that feature even though I miss having that option available. But, it just has minor issues that made it not worth it for us in the end. Pros It's very cheap for the services they offer. There is a great amount of customization and especially through the automation that is very extensive. Also, there are pre-made automations for you to use if you don't understand how to make your own, but either way the guides they have everything you need to know on how to make your own. Also, customer service is amazing. They truly went out of their way to make our transition to the product better and even did all the exporting of our email contacts from Emma to them easy to do. Cons Minor issues that can be annoying. The builder is wonky. Not like a lot of the other email marketing services we have worked with. Sometimes campaigns we start on go away. Also, very importantly is that emails sent don't come out looking well for those that use outlook! Very bad thing that needs to be fixed. ActiveCampaign makes it easy to see where the customer is in the sales process and this is flexible to suit your business' requirements. Connecting via email with your audience is important because you cannot rely on social media platforms as you had in the past. We are much more active in our email marketing now with AC. Pros What I like most about Active Campaign is how easy it is to use. Our old system was very confusing and was not easy for a new user to learn on, not the case with Active Campaign. Cons We are currently in the process of updating our contacts and we have realized that finding which list the contact came from and then editing that contact is a little challening, especially when you have a couple thousand to edit. Pros I absolutely love how you are able to test out the campaigns that you create within the software so you can see exactly what the end user will receive at each step as they go through email sequences. Cons I honestly can't think of any at the moment - this is a very solid software package. I have encountered one confirmed bug to date in calculating lifetime values for contacts, but once confirmed the team at AC fixed it and everything is good to go now.
