Pros The cost vs features are a great value. Easy and super supportive on boarding process. Checked all the boxes we were looking for in terms of email marketing and customer tracking. After that, it was hard to use anything else! I switched another client over and plan on moving my own list over to AC by the end of the quarter. Pros Lots of other softwares have the "tagging" capability, but not all others have perfected it. My favorite thing about ActiveCampaign is the visual way to set up automations. In marketing, it's so important to be able to customize the email nurturing sequences you send out, and ActiveCampaign makes it so incredibly easy to do! Their templates are a useful way to get started and building emails is easy. Cons I wish reporting were a bit more intuitive. You've got to do a bunch of different clicks to drill down to get a report you need. I'm still not sure I've got it 100% figured out. Nice and simple UX great feature set, plenty of integrations, vast training and support documentation library, friendly team. Pros We migrated to ActiveCampaign from another tool. The AC team took care of most of the migration, it was quick, went smoothly, and reduced the pressure on our team. The features they offer work very well, the software is reliable, and they are still improving it. Cons Their are occasional glitches, and sometimes things are not where you would expect to find them. Email messaging and automation related windows open quiet slowly. Support sometimes takes a bit too long to reply. So it's got a big thumbs up from someone who has tested over 7-8 different others. Pros The emails are sent, they get delivered, and I see stats very easily. Active Campaign is delivering on most of what I need. Segmentation, easy funnel overview, resend options. Cons When I have sent a campaign, I can click re-send to people who has not opened this campaign. When I do that I can change the subject line, which is good. But a greater option would be to even be able to edit the email body as well. It is just perfect! The support was friendly and fast but not so helpful. Cons The main reason I switch to another software is that my email base constantly growing and their servers become slower. There was a dependency between the number of contacts I had and the speed of the application. I had 23000 contacts and with that number building, an automation with the visual composer was a great experience for my nerves. On every single click, I had to wait for about a minute. The customer service is fast, amazing, courteous -- overall it can't be beat. I love all the educational opportunities the company provides to help you get acclimated to learn their product and services but also marketing in general. I've learned a lot from reading their blog and attending free webinars that they host. It also integrates with all of the other apps I use with no problems at all. Cons Their sales pages and shopping cart experiences are not the best compared to some others I've used. The sales page I created was not very professional looking at all. The templates are limited and the overall aesthetic is not very detailed. The price is a bit high for the small list that I have. There are cheaper alternatives, but they may not have all the tracking features.
