If I need help, we've always been able to reach out to support via chat and they are able to help pretty quickly. Pros Once you get the hang of Active Campaign, it is amazing in terms of features. We find out so much more about our customers when we send email campaigns. It has really helped us take our marketing to the next level! Cons It is very complicated to get started. Now, they do have TONS of onboarding resources that are amazing, but if you think you'll be sending campaigns shortly after you sign up, that may not be the case. There's a huge learning curve with Active Campaign, but once you get it, it's an amazing program. It has been an incredible asset to my business and has been the number one tool for increasing my revenue. The ability to trigger automations based on user's interactions on my website is a huge plus for me. I compared about 10 similarly priced options but ActiveCampaign was the best option. Pros Easy to use email builder, a ton of automation options and the ability to trigger automations/emails based on users actions on my website. I can't say I've had a bad experience so far but it's early days. Pros Ease of getting activiated. The free trial. Dashboard is quite logical. Lots of tutorials. Good customer support when I needed it initially. Cons Outsourced the full implmentation so can't comment on how easy that is but lots of tutorials. It's a shame their pricing tiers are very high and for useful additional features it's very high. Pros Very feature rich. Not just your average autoresponder. This thing is great if you want to customize your marketing message via different flows and segment them out. Cons There is a learning curve to really maximize AC's features. This will take some time to set up in your business and activate all the features to make it worth the price tag. The customer support is also great, I've only needed to use it once or twice but it's been great, that alone is worth the cost! Cons It can get complicated and a bit overwhelming. I doubt I've used a fraction of the capabilities that it offers but it does what I need it to do right now. Reason for choosing ActiveCampaign Highly recommended. Other platforms offer a myriad of features or services, which naturally inflates their prices, but that simply don't add any value to me. With Active Campaign, however, it's almost as if I had hand-picked the features my plan has. I assume they must have researched well what features their users are looking for the most, and are great are delivering them. Cons This is probably going to sound silly, because it doesn't hinder performance in the least, but I think ActiveCampaign's whole branding can be greatly improved. The platform just looks... outdated. Don't get me wrong, it works perfectly and it has impressive features. But, when functionality is all good and done, then aesthetics come into play. I would have a much better experience if everything I worked with within the platform looked aesthetically good. The reporting is top notch and it's good to get live data feedback on how your campaigns are performing. Pros I think the best feature of this software is how easy it was to use. You didn't need to know much about email marketing to get setup and be sending good looking emails to your customers. The dashboard and reporting features are sleek and easy to navigate through. The present the data clearly and in a pleasant to view manner. They also have many templates to create new campaigns with and you can edit them without needing to know HTML. Cons The only downside I can think of is that there are so many features that I don't use and I don't really know how to use. That's more on me than ActiveCampaign though.
