Pros

Active Campaign is a great email marketing tool, easy to set up. The drag and drop option is typical of other email marketing tools, but I think it's more customisable than other software. Moreover, there are plenty of templates that prevent you to start from scratch. I appreciate the tagging and scoring options that I think are pretty valuable as they allow you to properly segment your audience.

Cons

Active Campaign is a solution that provides lots of sophisticated features, therefore it might make an amateur feel a bit overwhelmed. Still, there are many tutorials that help with this (as well as the customer service which I haven't tested yet so I can't evaluate that).

Pros

ActiveCampaign is extremely affordable for the amount of functionality it offers. I've evaluated lots of MAS solutions, and ActiveCampaign is one of the best I've seen for budget-conscious teams that want to have a sales backbone to the their marketing. The software is mostly focused around building your customer CRM and engaging those customers with various touchpoints throughout the lifecycle. Since the CRM is built in (starting on their Plus plan), you won't need to worry about integrating your primary systems. Even on their most expensive plan, ActiveCampaign is very reasonably priced.

Cons

While ActiveCampaign will fit many business models, I wouldn't suggest it if you're looking for a fully integrated marketing automation suite. There are some limitations to its scope, so just be aware of that in your evaluation.

We use AC several times a week for all our marketing emails and newsletter, and it's been very successful. It took a bit to get used to, but once we figured it out, it was easy to use.

I used mailchimp before and I am super happy that I chose active capaign as the list is growing and growing. It gives me a great variety of options to manage and set up campaigns, automations etc.

Pros

I really like that active campaigns gives me a lot of freedom to organize contacts from different sources. It's great that you can nearly do anything with all the formulas, tagging systems and automations.

Cons

The double opt in feature is missing when working with external sources. So I had to set up an automation to send a double opt in confirmation mail and also add tags so that I know which user did the double op in and which user didn't!

I like that I can set the email to be sent automatically to subscribers after certain established conditions and at certain time intervals. An advanced email campaign management application.

You don't need to know html to put together a beautiful and professional looking email or newsletter! You can use their templates or drag and drop very easily! Their customer support team is always trying to help me optimize my email list and make little changes to get the stats up

Cons

It costs quite a. bit compared to other ESP's. This one feels worth it since there is a lot of functionality that comes with the platform

Pros

The ease and power of automations. The fact that the price grows with you, making it easier for young businesses to use powerful software without paying too much.

Cons

Not sure. There were a few times an automation didn't work the way I wanted it to. But that was user error. Customer support helped me figure out what I did wrong.

Active Campaign helps our company keep the connection with the clients. As a trade-based company, one of the dislikes about trade-based companies is their lack of communication. Active Campaign keeps that contact from the client's first touchpoint and forever on if required.

I struggled making the transition until I had a call from the trainer - wow what a difference. It made a huge difference to the onboarding process.

Pros

I use to use Mailchimp which is easy to use but limited. Active Campaign is far more powerful and what I like best is the monthly calls with an expert who shows me how to upgrade my user experience

Cons

It was harder to get started but once I understood allt he extra bells and whistles I realized it was far more powerful than I first thought.

Email Automation- to be able to send an automated email to the existing clients and able to track them. Also send follow-up emails that are customized according to your email list. Customer Support - their customer support is very outstanding the called me from the first day of my trail if I needed anything. If you already have an email list or autoresponder you can able to import that email list it your Active campaign account. You're able to send emails according to List Segmentation You can integrate with many softwares.

Cons

It very confusing if you have never used any autoresponder before setting up an campaign. I wish they called have HTML editor.
