Pros I use Active Campaign for a short time now but I can say is the best marketing automation and campaign tool out there. Its easy to use and intuitive, it didn't take long to get familiar with the setup. Once the process is setup the campaigns are on auto-pilot. The support was fast and high quality. Cons The templates should be easier to customize. Otherwise I do not much to complain about Active Campaign. Pros The best feature is the automation aspect. I was really apprehensive of diving into email sequencing but Active Campaign made it really easy. The support when I needed it too was really great. Cons It's disappointing that I can't get a pop-up form on my website as that feature doesn't seem to be possible with a Squarespace site, that's my only criticism. " July 27, 2020 4.0 I'm not a techie so anything beyond posing on Facebook is a pain, but I know A/C has been developed well. Pros The functionality is amazing and I'm grateful software like this exists. Cons The set-up process was rather complicated and and there were hiccups along the way. It’s easy to see past campaigns, see and filter contacts based on what funnels they’re in and date that they’ve joined. There’s just a lot of useful stats available within this software to allow for good business decisions to be made. Their email templates just keep getting better too! Pretty user friendly. Cons No real complaints about this software. The templated emails can be a bit difficult and slow to use though. However, the basic emails are fast to access, write, and send off. I haven’t had any issues with scheduled emails or keeping myself organized with this software. Active Campaign is cheaper and easier to learn than Infusionsoft and it has all of the features that I need for email automation. Cons The CRM is not as good as I would like. We are on the basic plan so we don't use many features but we still feel like we get a lot out of the software. Pros Email builder is super easy to use, I love the ability to crop and slightly edit photos in the software. Great job at keeping contacts sorted. Would love to see stripe integrated without the use of zapier. Review and how to videos were informative and it wasn't a huge learning curve to figure out how to use the system. Pros I really like how easy it is to manage lists, set-up steps in an automation and use dynamic fields like 'FirstName' and 'Company'. Also, it integrates with a lot of tools which makes it accessible. Cons I had some experience with email marketing before, but I can imagine that it might be hard for a first-time user. Overall, the tool is not difficult at all once you get the hang of it. Migrating went very smoothly and I already have my automations up and running. Very happy with it. Pros I like that this software combines CRM capabilities with email newsletters and automations. It has allowed me to save money and time by simplifying and combining what I used to do with several paid subscriptions into one. It also integrates well with the other apps I use. Cons The customization of email templates is a bit limited but it isn't a deal breaker. I'm still able to get my branding across. It's user friendly and reasonably priced to get started with. Cons It gets pricier as your list grows of course, but the jumps were a "gulp" to handle. In fact, I will often go in a delete contact I'm pretty sure I don't need to to avoid jumping to the next tier. My business revenue didn't grow in comparison to my list size.
