Although it is wonderful that features are always being added and improved, this constantly shifting landscape makes it challenging to feel that we are utilising the tool effectively. And it's tracking opens well. Pros I like most that once I click send, it's clear to me that it's being sent and to whom. It's easy to understand at that point. Cons It's difficult to manage my emails once they've been sent. To see them, easily put them into different lists. It's also very difficult to understand automations versus sequences. I had a miserable experience with another email marketing app that loved HTML and Liquid. I hated that app. I lvoe Active Campaign because I can easily create beautiful emails without literally learning two programming languages. I'm a marketer not I.T! Great email deliverability and love the ability to tag and create multiple email sequences. It can do so much - I've only scratched the surface of what available - so it's great for companies of all sizes. Pros Affordable starter plans, great templates, super powerful automation and behavior based sequencing. Cons Nothing. Zip. Nada. It works, has so much functionality and is easy to use. It offers the advantage of creating automation rules at your convenience and includes predesigned templates so you do not have to worry much about the design of the message. It has a long list of features and customers have a help portal where they can learn to perform different functions. You can hire plans according to the number of contacts you have in your lists, so you can progressively increase the list of contacts as you reach the marketing objectives. I would recommend it, but if you are a beginner in this topic you will have to read and learn how to use the platform. Cons If you have a problem and request help from the support team, it takes a while to get an answer. Therefore, if you present a problem during the launch of a campaign, your work will be interrupted. It is advisable that you carefully read the use policies before hiring the services since your campaigns will be suspended without prior notice if the Active Campaign team detects that you have violated its rules.
