There are step-by-step tutorials to help get everything up and running too. There are a lot of features and tools that you can use to grow your list and your business and they offer a tiered plan while you are growing it. Cons The cons really are on me. I know I'm using the best tools my business can afford with Active Campaign. Pros I surveyed many email providers out there and when I finally settled on one, I chose Active Campaign. Hands down it has the most capabilities that I was looking for, with ability to really customize and tailor your automations and email sequences. It was easy to use and extremely reliable. It's relatively simple although setting things up can take some time as it's a new software and new tasks you need to set up and learn. Take advantage of their customer support to help you learn how to set up. Overall, it's a very reliable, cost-efficient with the most features of other products in its category. So far, I love it. We needed a way to do a quick, in-person screener and if the candidate qualified, to direct them to a longer survey. Active Campaign has a very powerful and easy to use API and we were able to create just what we were looking for. Cons Even after using the software for a while I am still not sure what the difference is between a campaign and an automation. Moving my subscriber lists over was very simple as was setting up automations and starting new campaigns. I found some of the software a bit tricky to use at the beginning, but the Customer Support team are very quick to reply which has helped me overcome any issues very quickly. I would definitely recommend AC to businesses looking to diversify and upgrade their email marketing. Cons I found some of the features a little complicated to set up (the automations especially) however Customer Support were really helpful and since then I have had no issues. Pros What I like about Active Campaign is how powerful it can be with automation, BUT its easy enough to start using if you are at the beginning stages of using an email autoresponder. There are other bigger companies that start out at double the price, but with Active Campaign you can have powerful features that will grow with your business. My web guy switched us and I am really enjoying the capabilities this platform has. It is much more than just sending emails and drip campaigns like we used to do in MC and Constant Contact. We can track what our customers are doing, looking at, and then send them different content depending on their habits. Cons For now I would say I don't like the learning curve but I am not sure I can blame the software.
