Pros

The option to assign multiple different actions easily for campaigns and automation. The campaign template options.

Cons

The campaign builder email writing is clunky and not intuitive like an email writing tool should be. Needs to be easier to input image and write text without it adjusting the formatting. The forms are overly basic and looks terrible on embedded pages on website. Would like a cleaner looking form with ability to delete question options without having to go to a separate editing page.

It's great for what I need! I'm an automations person through and through, so that's the main thing I was looking for when searching for a software.

Pros

I love the customer service - if I ever have issues, they're there to help. In terms of the software, I love all of the automations. They make life so much easier.

Cons

It's not the most user-friendly on the planet or super clean/clear. I'd also love if it had more capabilities for visual customization.

Overall, my experience with ActiveCampaign has been positive. Building automations will save a significant amount of time and because we can use custom formatting, we don't have to sacrifice the look of the emails we send out.

Pros

I like that I am able to create beautiful, personalized messages for my customers. I like that we can sync custom fields for contacts to build specific messages and that we can use our own custom templates (so the messages are beautiful!). I am utilizing ActiveCampaign to keep customers informed of upcoming deadlines and activities, and being able to set up an automation saves me a ton of time manually sending emails. The automations are fairly intuitive to set up.

Cons

It's critical to make sure all of your contact information is in the system. Creating automations can be complex - it would be nice to be able to view a pdf of the final automation (in the case of documenting a workflow for example).
