Pros Affordable, easy to use, has a website chat comparable to Drift Cons They are very strict on who you can upload to the platform. Website members? Nope. Trade show booth visitors? Nope. Customers? Not likely. Outside of that, features are pretty limited. No conditional form fields. For me, there was a steep learning curve that i struggled with. This said, they have since initiated a monthly support call to help with onboarding (that I was not aware of in the early stages) - possibly my ignorance. Pros I have found ActiveCampaign to be ahead of the competition specifically in their automation and drip sequences. Cons There's a strange bug when inserting a link: sometimes the text for the link disappears when saving the hyperlink. Once I have my pipelines, I will have leads automatically placed into them, and run through automatically. ActiveCampaign appears to be able to run almost completely hands off, which I cannot wait to implement! I have moved up from MailChimp which is good at what it does, but is not a patch on ActiveCampaign for features, and breadth of capability. Cons As with all software that "packs a punch", it can take a little bit to get used to it. But there is plenty of support documentation to help out. Pros You can create an auto campaign for all your ads and funnels and just let it run. So simple and don't have to worry. Cons It's a bit annoying and not user friendly. December 21, 2018 5.0 Pros It is way more user friendly than other email marketing platforms I have used. It is very easy to edit text and change the layout of the emails. The deliverability of the emails is very high too! Cons Price is the only issue that I have seen. It isn't bad but it is definitely on the higher end but it is a higher quality product. There are just a couple things that have inconvenienced us. Pros It is user friendly and very great for the price. Cons I have had an issue with my Square Integration that has not been fixed. They did comp me for one month, but the issue still has not been resolved, despite it being escalated to their developer team. So many features that are easy to integrate. I was able to hit the ground running. Clear automations and ability to design quickly. Cons For me as a musician, I was not able to store an mp3 or any other music file within the system so I couldn't use it as a lead magnet within the email. I hope they add this soon. Cons I could not even test the software. I have a business that teaches people about investing in the stock market and was looking for better automation. They cut down my business very quickly by the compliance department and categorized me into the "day trading tips" and "get-rich-quick" niche when we focus on - How to invest in the stock market - How you can retire early - How to invest your first $1000 - What is the difference between ETFs and Mutual funds... Basically, since they are still fairly new - they can quickly just cut you off even if your content relates to making money... beware if you deal with any affiliate income, selling a product or service that pertains to the financial sector (like personal financial adviser) Had no problems getting approved at other companies... This one and Convertkit seem to not even want to look at your content to approve you - they just segregate you into a jar. Even if they approved me now, would I trust this company at this point?
