Powerful automations and great for different kinds of audiences, but can get a little pricey as your list grows.

Pros

Nothing beats ActiveCampaign when it comes to segmenting users and automating the nurture and sales process over emails. Their automation is probably the most comprehensive I've seen so far compared to other ESPs.

Cons

Can be a little pricey especially as your list grows. Also, the opt-in forms really don't look great and would need to integrate to a third party platform to make your lead generation attractive.

I loved using ActiveCampaign and would definitely recommend.

Pros

ActiveCampaign is super easy to use and very user friendly. You can jump right in and begin sending beautiful emails and campaigns quickly.

Cons

Sometimes you have to fiddle around to get the page to look the way you want when the formatting isn't quite right.

I really enjoyed using this software, but it is more for experts---not for beginners like me.

Cons

There were times when things did get complicating and confusing. Since there is no time to learn about the software, I gave up. I just wish it was more user-friendly.

Fairly straight forward to use. Great funnel features

Cons

Some things that could be connected seem disjointed. For example you can make a form, but to can’t insert it into a landing page, you have paste the snippet in by copying it. It should allow you to select the form.

Pros

I love how many features it has and how it helps with all aspects of our marketing funnel. The customer service and support is excellent, my questions are always answered right away!

Cons

It takes some time to dig into and find the reports. Sometimes I find bugs in the reports and they have issued tickets to fix them. Other than that, none.

This tool makes working remote with other team members super easy. Easy to filter and track or track leads as a whole team.

Pros

Having a funnel for each person so I could sort and work through my own deals quickly. I also like that you can move deal from one stage to another by dragging on the timeline or on the record itself.

Cons

No option to add "notes" to the quick view on the timeline- many options but "notes" it not available for a shortcut. I think this could help you quickly follow up on second and further calls.

I enjoy using ActiveCampaign. I can usually accomplish what I need to in simple steps.

Pros

That it’s robust enough for the average online business owner and easy to use

Cons

After working in Infusionsoft, I see where ActiveCampaign lacks in organization and some features that would be beneficial.

I have found it more robust than the previous system I was using, but it's definately taking a learning curve to learn what all it can do from me

Pros

I had outside support setting up my system and have attended a few calls through Active Campaign training. It takes some understanding of how to make automations work, but once they do it's a huge time saver. I am excited to continue learning more about how the system works and what it can do to help my business.

Cons

It's SLOW moving through different tabs and steps

Pros

ActiveCampaign is feature-rich without becoming a behemoth to manage. I got up and running fast, and AC provides tons of content to help you get more out of the system. I enjoy using it, and the value for the money cannot be beat. I've used HubSpot quite a lot in the past, and AC is a fantastic option if you don't want to shovel out hundreds of dollars per month.

Cons

Automations take some time to grasp, but once you get it, it's not hard to do.

Pros

We recently switched our email marketing from MailChimp to ActiveCampaign. We've been very happy with the usability and features that Active Campaign has to offer. I've only had to reach out to support once but had a great experience with them being very responsive and thorough.

Cons

We have yet to run into a feature that we don't like. We had some small issues with importing our contacts from MailChimp but were able to get that figured out.

Pros

My colleagues say ActiveCampaign is the best CRM for people who do email marketing campaigns everyday. If set up well, every email out can be controlled with just few mouse clicks. It allows Importing contacts from external sources like csv file and xlsx file and through other cloud destinations as well. The real time notification feature is also highly useful.

Cons

But I was having a hard time setting up everything through the dashboard and I believe I am missing a lot of lot of features without even touching them.

Overall I really like Active Campaign and I recommend it, deliverability rates are good, the software is incredibly powerful and for a small and starting business like ours it's got more than we even know how to use. It's much better than Mail Chimp which I used before and was frustrated with.

Pros

What I like the most about this software is the campaigns and funnels you can create with it, it's fairly intuitive and easy to segment. You can have multiple lists and work with that.

Cons

I didn't like that in order to personalize the look of a form on Squarespace you need to jump to the next tier which for us went from $15/M to $70/M that seems a bit much and the form is not really cute to begin with.

Automations and auto responders are a fantastic benefit. Bots set up on tons of conditions. Can send targeted messages straight to website visitors. Easy to understand UI.

Cons

Almost too many features... hard to know what you are missing.

Für mich ist Active Campaign nach einem Vergleich mit vielen anderen Newsletter-Programme die einzige Option, die meinen Wünschen gerecht werden kann.

Pros

Das Programm ist gut strukturiert und es gibt wirklich für jede Fragestellung entsprechende Hilfetexte, in denen Schritt für Schritt Erklärungen angeboten werden.

Cons

Aufgrund der Komplexität des Programms muss man sich schon intensiv mit der Einrichtung der Funktionen beschäftigen, dass ist sehr zeitaufwendig.

Pros

Previously when I would capture leads from paid advertising, if they didn't immediately book an appointment, nothing would happen with them. Now with active campaign, I automatically send them reminder emails to finish their application. I also get a more reliable source for lead tracking than clickfunnels or Facebook ads manager. It's great.

Cons

At first I had a hard time finding the number of new contacts added each day. I guess the reporting could be a bit easier.
