Pros

Campaigns and Automation is awesome. it takes the pressure off, so you don't need to worry about email reminders. tagging and and insertion of pre-defined content is great and saves TONS of time!

Cons

one time the automation had a bug that didn't allow sending emails reminders and that hurt our webinar registration for that week (which was a bummer) and we found out about this on the day of the webinar.

Pros

The software is very powerful, it has a lot of functionalities to automate many commercial and marketing processes. It is a bit complex to use, I think it would be interesting if they had some tutorial videos for users and administrators. However they have a support and consultation service that works well.

Cons

I have used this support service twice and its quality level is good. In this last query that I made, we have detected something that is happening and the assistant did not know why it was happening so the incident escalated but after 6 days I have still not received a response from the technical team.

Cons

The system takes time to learn all the functions. However, taking the time to learn the process as your company grows is a huge benefit.

I use active campaign a lot, also in combination with Active MEmber 360 to manage acces to my online courses and send out automated emails to my course participants and students

Pros

It's easy to use with the drag and drop builders

Cons

I thought the process of sending Emails to a certain selection of people from a list was a bit confusing at the beginning, but with customer service I figured it out

I am just starting out with this crm but so far it is pretty awesome. It can be overwhelming with how much it can do. It just takes time to figure it out.

Pros

It is crazy how much this crm can do if you have the skills to build it out. Everything can be automated from texts to emails to voicemail drops.

Cons

It takes a while to learn how to use all of the tools to create workflows and deals and automatons, etc. I wish it had live support for quick questions.

Cons

The overzealous support team who blocked an account for 12 individual reports of spam in 12 months...people forget they have signed up to a list!

Its been great and now I'm in the process of moving my other business over to Active campaign.

Pros

I was blown away at the power of automations and have set it up so emails are sent to my customers without any manual input from me.

Cons

There is a lot to learn and understand about the programme so I had to hire a freelancer to help me out. It's not user friendly for someone new to it.

Pros

Its great that you can have various pipelines and can see where they are and who are your top contacts. The automations are really great too and I LOVE the fact that you can see who has unsubscribed.

Cons

Would be great id there was a date function for when deals were created, won or lost as sometimes there is a long process before a deal can be won or lost. Its really frustrating that you cant export the Reports.

I find this to be easy to use and a great way to manage my contacts and emails.

Cons

It takes a little training. Not completely intuitive, but the support is great if you need assistance.

My favorite thing about AC is the ability to automate anything you can think of. Email follow up, SMS, Calling, Pipeline activity...the list goes on.

hat I like most about ActiveCampaign is its e-mail delivery power. I'm really pleased with the platform's delivery fees.

Cons

Something I did not like is the fact that in the basic version it is not possible to remove the ActiveCampaing logo from the forms.

We are using this to set up autoresponders for our funnel, and for a monthly newsletter. Everything is easy to set up.

Pros

My VA was able to set it up quickly and easily.

Cons

I haven't run into any cons yet, haven't used it long enough to see if there are any.

Pros

This is a quick and very easy work flow tool that has made our email campaigns much easier to quickly generate and get live. but not only that the tracking has done wonders for us.

Cons

There is a steep learning curve with this software but once you are over that newbie hump you can do pretty great things with it.

Pros

We ultimately decided to go with ActiveCampaign because of its advanced options for automations. This allowed us to send more relevant emails to our audience based on their interests.

Cons

We had some issues with templating and getting the exact look we wanted. The design interface could be easier when making templates.

If you're going to spend money on a robust email marketing tool, I'd skip ConvertKit and jump straight to ActiveCampaign. The value for the money is great, though you do need to have a strategy for automations and data analytics to not get overwhelmed or under-utilize this tool

Pros

\- The CRM features are great - the side panel of interactions is very nice, even though if you add a lot of custom fields, you'll be scrolling forever (but you can always toggle the sections close) - Data collection is amazing once set up properly - Lots of integrations! Lots of data points to collect into one central CRM

Cons

\- Automations are a bit tricky to set up - The email editor isn't the best around town - I'll likely be looking into some custom HTML templates to really get custom
