Cons It takes a time commitment to understand and get fluent with how the software works, to get the most out of it. The email list building allows me to retarget specific contacts based on my promotions. Cons In one of my automations, people were left in a que which made it hard to run a challenge. Pros Great features...if only we were able to use them. It is hard to come up with anything positive when their system simply did not work at all for us, in spite of repeated efforts to diagnose and fix the problem by their tech support. Cons After more than 2 months of back and forth with their technical support, we were never able to get the system to deliver our emails. We would send out a campaign and only 1% or less of the emails were delivered. Unfortunately, we paid for a year in advance and even though the system never worked for us, they were unwilling to refund our payment. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Almost no response. We do not have a set person over marketing so it ended up taking too much extra time to get something going. Pros It is a really fair as far as cost is concerned. It can be customized if you're will to put in the time. (we were, but to no avail) When you get all the tracking to work the reports can (in theory) be very helpful. Cons I had a number of my attempts go straight to spam. The reporting is not up to the simplicity/ease-of-use standard of other options out there. August 6, 2018 1.0 Active Campaign could clearly knew that I never actually used the product and canceled well within the 14 day trial period. I thought the amount was too expensive for what you get. They charged my credit card for the next 9 months ! After I complained to American Express, they refunded 3 months only because American Express made them. What about the other amount you took from me? What a scam! Pros Never used it! I installed the 14 day trial and canceled after 2 days. Cons Beware! I installed it on Shopify and canceled it 2 days later because it didn't seem worth it. They kept charging my credit card for another 9 months! What happened to the 14 day free trial? Then explained that I had to contact them directly to cancel my account! WHAT?!?! They are no longer represented on Shopify app store! They only refunded 3 months because American Express made them.
