Automated emails are the reason we purchased ActiveCampaign. Cons It is not very easy to find clear video's that will help you set these automated emails up. But I always find answers to my questions. You can integrate your leads into ActiveCampaign, automate SMS and email, and set up workflow so you're following up efficiently. Cons It's pretty pricey for a solo sales guy. Beyond that the migration/activation process is clunky and they have too many players in the mix. We're testing it for a few months and might either switch back to MailChimp or try Pardot if possible. February 13, 2019 4.0 Pros It seems like the software has a ton of powerful features that can be used to automate email campaigns to customers. I've only managed to use a few so far, but it's been going fairly well. Cons At times, it can be hard to edit emails and select templates for my automations. I've accidentally added the wrong template to my automations on several occasions, and the html editor for the templates leaves something to be desired. June 9, 2020 5.0 Pros I considered getting a free software for my email list.... but then realized AC reaches people's inbox in higher rates than competitors, and it's been worth it. I also love their customer support, they are awesome! Plus they have lots of videos to help you set things up yourself even if you're new to using email list platforms. I've been doing it all on my own with videos and one training session from customer support. Cons I wish that the basic package (Lite) didn't have the Active Campaign logo on the WP form integration.. it's annoying to have to workaround.
